I fear a very unpleasant update regarding shipping to the USA:
Despite the info on the DHL website, I now cannot select USA any more for the lower shipping rates (only as expensive DHL package) - apparently DHL changed that / removed USA from that list recently due to the tariffs of duties of certain orange idiot. 😠😠😠
I still have to verify this info tomorrow when the hotline is available again. But if that's correct, unfortunately it will not be possible in any way to ship stuff cheaper to the US as long as that maniac is still in charge. 😖
The rest of the world is unaffected, the lower shipping costs seem to work fine here.

📦📦📦 Shipping costs update:
I indeed was able to get a DHL business account for now! 🤓 So it seems that for smaller packages (up to 1 kg / envelope size) I can now offer cheaper shipping rates!
As the shipping rates depend on the WEIGHT of the packages (per 100g ), I will have to enter all sizes and weight info in the shop and add the shipping rates. This is actually more work than it sounds, but I will do my best to finish everything asap!
⚠️ For orders already placed (and charged the higher shipping costs), I will of course use the cheaper shipping rates if possible and refund the price difference.
Just to let you know that pre-orders for shirts / hoodies will still be open this week until OCTOBER 02!
I will order more shirts to stock up my online shop of course. However if you want to secure a special size or a hoodie (only as preorder - I don't have those in my regular stock), here's your chance!

Inventory after Eurofurence is counted! The shop is now up to date again. Dakimakuras have already been reordered.
I have added a section for pre-ordering t-shirts / hoodies that sold out!

So indeed it's correct that DHL currently excluded USA from the cheaper shipping options. Quote from an article I found online:
"DHL has severely restricted the shipment of business parcels to the US due to new customs regulations. The logistics company is now adapting its processes.
“I am very confident that we will be able to return to our usual service in the coming weeks,” said the DHL board member." "
So if you're in the US and ordered something from me, the only thing I can offer you right now is:
1) do you want to wait a little longer and hope the situation will clear up - or
2) send out your order right away as the usual (expensive / fully insured) DHL package
Finally packing orders and dealing with the new business shipping rates! 📦 I will refund parts of the shipping costs if it's possible to use the lower shipping rates (depends on the weight / size of the package).

I will start counting the leftovers, update the online shop and reorder sold out products once we‘re back home
next week. This will probably take a few days / 1-2 weeks. 🙏
