🙄 Another "celebrity" has managed to swipe $50 million from her followers. 22-year-old Haley Welch, aka "Hawk Tuah girl," went viral on TikTok, started a podcast, and then launched her own meme coin, $HAWK. The coin shot up to a $500 million market cap, only to crash to $25 million in minutes.
When the price dropped, she lied, claiming the team hadn't sold any tokens. In reality, 96% of the supply was in one cluster, and 89 wallets sold everything instantly. Coffeezilla exposed the scam.
She tried to justify herself, then just went to sleep, because, you know, she was "tired." It’s not the first time a celebrity-pushed token has cost people millions. So, maybe next time, check the project before you jump in.
✍ Four rules every crypto holder should keep in mind. An estimated 2.5M BTC (~$240B) are lost forever. Don’t let your stack be next.
✦ Test your recovery process. Engraving a seed phrase on metal isn’t enough—make sure it actually works.

This highlights the vulnerability of widely-used open-source libraries in Web3, where supply chain attacks can compromise multiple services simultaneously. As blockchain adoption increases, maintaining robust security practices, including regular audits and dependency management, is way too critical.
🪙 Good to see meme coins cooling off. Things were getting wild. No hate on meme coins though, the top ones with strong communities have stood the test of time. But let’s be real, many are just a gamble with the odds stacked against you.
Meme coins are volatile, and many traders get burned. People can do what they want with their money, but they’re not exactly helping the crypto industry’s push for mainstream adoption.
📈 Trading’s all about emotional control. Here's another success story: a whale bought $PEPE for $3.64M on May 29 at a high price. As the market dropped, many would’ve panicked and sold. Not him. He waited and ended up selling for $4.95M, making a $1.31M profit.
It shows how important it is to think things through. Rushed decisions lead to losses; patience and a good strategy lead to gains. But hey, it could’ve also gone the other way. He might have lost it all.

Mining relocated to other countries, capital and technology found new markets, and the network became even more decentralized. The other countries that banned it are scrambling to legalize it.
Bitcoin won’t disappear. Excluding it from your economy just means excluding yourself from the future.

Taproot addresses (“bc1p…”) support Bitcoin assets and DeFi. If you don’t see the funds or assets you’re expecting in an address, it could be that you’re not using a wallet capable of displaying that address type!
