💡 We need decentralized, private ID verification with ZK proofs or similar tech. 70,000 Coinbase users just had their data leaked after support agents got bribed. Now they’re exposed to phishing and worse.

It’s possible to verify IDs without exposing private info to exchange staff. Feels like one of the most urgent problems for the industry this year.

🥱 Crypto is becoming normal. A recent report finds that over one in five Americans now holds some form of crypto. 70% of these hold less than $10,000 worth.

Interestingly, while there were plenty of people in tech and finance, holders came from all walks of life. Over 30% were female, and a third were over 45.

However, while this is great news, we still have work to do. Three-quarters of those interviewed were still worried about hacks and scams.
