I understand that too
It's a topic that could be easily mocked when we sing about it in the present-day of our career
While standards vary for everyone
From most people's point of view, the present SEVENTEEN seems well-off in all three areas
Because of that, I actually felt a lot of helplessness thinking about this topic
This is my current truth
I felt a strange feeling similar to unease and nervousness about not syncing with CARATs and the public
I wondered if I was thinking wrong
If I should really stop
If my skills were no longer needed
They're rather foolish thoughts
Isn't it ironic that the person who made this album
Wanting to ease CARATs' feelings of helplessness
Ends up feeling helpless himself?
Either way, it was complicated in a lot of ways
However, what's clear is that I had no intention of inventing anything
So I gathered myself to focus back on my sincerity
I of course expected there would be snarky remarks about why those who seem to have it all talked about money and fame, and while some of that was indeed as I anticipated
Whether it's a perspective of reality, or the actual reality, we live fiercely and desperately
That's what life is originally like
If you look at it the other way around
If others look at us, who seem to have it all, wonder 'what in the world could these guys be struggling with?' and show enough curiosity to look into our reasoning by listening to our music
'Wouldn't they understand that what drives us is love?'
I tried to hope for this
This music was not made to criticize those living for money and fame at all
That is fine too
And we have lived that way too, there's nothing wrong with that being a major part of life
Therefore, we weren't pretending to be cosplays of successful persons, and we weren't telling people the insouciant bluff that 'love is the answer', or 'preserve love'
But that no matter how you rank what's important, it's your choice to rank them like that
Now, for us,
Just as it was mentioned in the song
Without CARATs, we don't need anything, and we only sang, in our own way, that this is what liberates us from hopelessness
I'm not writing all of this for any particular reason
It's just a light reflection since the promotions have ended
I generally don't like to talk about serious things
Everyone is struggling, so what's the point in writing every detail that might not even interest some people?
As I've grown older,
I've come to realize quite late that I was someone who couldn't not be greedy at the start
But above all
I live for those who need me
Which currently includes my members and CARATs
Some might say that's wrong because it doesn't seem entirely voluntary
But this is who I am, what can I do about it?
This is why I wanted to meet your expectations even more
And I didn't want to disappoint you
As you are more important than I am, I wanted to convey
That I'm continuously pursuing new challenges full of sincerity
I hope this album remains a good memory for you

It might be because I'm human, but I also feel a bit disappointed that the album I worked on with great effort has passed by so quickly.
