Using Ai image gen does not use signifgently more power then playing AAA games, which is why i think people using them to messaroudn/shitpost isn't such a big deal. (Image gen with ComfyUI on a standard computer uses ~300 watt/hour vs playing apex on a mid/high end computer ~310, even genreal use of a desktop ends up averaging 180-210 watt/hour)

That said i agree that Gen AI models should not be made. Making and training gen AI models does uses a massive amount of power, along with all the other ethical issues invloved with training.
