unless they're somehow all individual and they don't operate serially but then you'd have 4 ports and they'd all have individual charging input and that would get really messy
Читать полностью…(again, could be wrong, but from what I know about how electrical stuff all works and just physics in general, this is how the mathematics shake out)
Читать полностью…^ although I *do* believe the number of cells doesn't affect the Wh, that the Wh ends up being a static number? (I'm not an electrician I just happen to know a bit about this stuff because it's necessary understanding for my field) so it's not 72Wh*4 but rather that it can max output FROM FULL CAPACITY at 72Wh 👀
Читать полностью…I understand now. you calculate for a single cell of the power bank if there are more than 1 cells.
Читать полностью…The bottom of both of my 20,000 mAh power banks says :
"Cell Capacity: 5000 mAh 14.4Vdc/ 72Wh"
I'm not sure if mine is the "prime" or not tho lmao so not sure if it's the same 20k that you have
Читать полностью…I have two Anker Power Banks:
- Anker Prime 12,000mAh Power Bank (130W)
- Anker Prime 20,000mAh Power Bank (200W)
(it literally just has this listed on the back and it figures out the voltage/amperage from whatever the draw is)
Читать полностью…How to tell the voltage of a power bank? Even in the instruction manual and small details on the power bank itself, there's multiple options and hard to tell which to use to calculate Wh
Читать полностью…and just, mathematically? 72Wh/4 cells = 18Wh per cell, nice roundish number!
Читать полностью…that is to say: the Wh number is accounting for every cell, but the 5000maH and 14.4V are per EACH cell
Читать полностью…I wonder how it figures out which cell to use or if it's serial and so recharging it just fills the individual cells 🤔 hmmm
Читать полностью…(and I'm sure I could google a formula to figure out a more exact number but I'm sure it's all negligible)
Читать полностью…I think you'll get a bit more Wh out of a 5V@3A draw since that's the lowest power draw rate
Читать полностью…and those are maximums (although likely, whatever you're using it for won't be operating significantly above those margins so even if it's a bit slow of a charge for your device it should probably work fine)
Читать полностью…so they probably operate within a similar band of outputs, but for instance, my power bank, the anker 20k mAh (74 Wh), it outputs at either: 5V@3A, 9V@2A, or 12V@1.5A
