brief anecdote: one time on vacation we were watching the kids choice awards and lil romeo was doing a performance and my mom came out of the bathroom, saw that on the tv and went "you're not allowed to watch that" and of course, being like, 6 and 7 at the time, my sister and I thought she meant NICKELODEON and didn't realize she meant LIL ROMEO and when I got older and realized what she was saying I was horrified by the inherent racism 👀
