I just cooked up the BEST DRUMMING GAME that has never been made 👀 I call it "noodle drummer" and the idea is that you use controller thumbsticks to control the placement of your noodly drummer's arms on the kit, triggers control kick drums, shoulder buttons are for stick hits, lower difficulties for things like rolls you hold your buttons for rolls and stuff but as you increase difficulty you have to be more input accurate and there's a mechanic similar to lifts to imitate heel-toe, and higher difficulties introduce more cymbals and drums so your stick positioning has to be more accurate and you can't just yeet it to the edges
