LA sucks for exactly 2 reasons: 1) everyone thinks they're gonna be famous and 2) it's a giant ass city that forces you to own a car if you want to be able to do anything because the public transportation options are honestly piss (even with the increased funding for the bus system that has allowed them to open up a broader network of bus lines)

that's because of the people moreso than the city itself; LA is the only place where I've driven where you can see people lined up for 2 miles for a freeway onramp... that has a second lane and will take you about 30 sec to actually get on the highway once you change lanes

I have traded needing a lot more time to drive places to do things with friends for actually reasonable cost of living. And as a car enthusiast that is a trade I am willing to make. But yeah. Things in Pennsylvania are sparse
