If you’re looking for slots, the closest is probably Lytton in San Pablo. If you want a real casino then the closest is probably Graton in Rohnert Park. They just opened a massive expansion.

imo, the combination of great shows, good food, and other experiences in Vegas is hard to beat. There’s a lot to be said for going to an A-list concert, eating an amazing meal, and being able to walk back to your hotel room. The strip has gotten stupid expensive, but there’s a lot of great stuff off the strip that’s cheaper than the Bay Area. I just got an apartment there and split my time between there and the Bay Area.
