I look at this photo . . . And I feel so euphoric about what it represents for who I am and what I want to be for the community. A protector, a pup who makes others safe, and is powerful enough to do that, but still soft and kind enough to be hugged and snugged.
Someone who will simultaneously snap an attacker like a twig, but will also get a crying pup cookies and milk, hug them, have them vent to me and know everything will be okay

The point of my design is it super accessible and affordable for one person to do.
You basically just take all of the blankets you have around your home. Stack them on top of each other with the most sensory pleasing one at the bottom layers, then throw a heavy weighted blanket on top, block out all light for your eyes and block out all sound with those noise canceling headphones.
Depending on what additional features you want to add for me, I added a heated pad for my physical therapy. You could probably build this entire rig for maybe an extra 120 bucks tops if you get nice headphones

Just got done with a 1 hour nap in what I call my sensation pod
Set up:
Step 1: put the black faux fur blanket down as base layer
Step 2: place heating pad under the muscle group that my workout is targeting today and turn on to 2/3
Step 3: layer in order: primary bed sheets, big fleece, all smaller fleeces, comforter, weighted blanket
Step 4: put on sensory Deprivation hood and blue tooth headphones
Step 5: turn on grey noise and max the volume
Step 6: enjoy a controlled monotonic sensory heaven
