Malaysia: In the highly anticipated budget 2025 announcement on 18 Oct, we expect the government to continue to fiscal consolidation. We forecast a deficit range of 3.5-3.8% of GDP versus 4.3% in 2024.
Philippines: BSP has the most convincing case to ease further on lower September inflation and falling global rice prices.
Thailand: BOT faces pressure to lower interest rates, but growth outlook and financial conditions remain key considerations.
