🇯🇵 Nikkei 225: -0.77% 📉

3 Things You Need To Know
1. Kicking off the week on Monday, Japan will release its GDP (q/q), while China will report its Inflation Rate (y/y) and New Loans.
2. China's central bank resumed gold purchases in November after a six-month pause, increasing holdings to 72.96 million troy ounces, though their value fell to USD 193.43 billion amid declining gold prices. The move signals the PBOC's confidence and could revive Chinese investor demand. Gold prices dropped 5% from October's record high but remain up 28% this year.
3. Upcoming US inflation data is the most closely watched puzzle in supporting a Fed rate cut, with strong job growth last Friday laying the groundwork to help fuel a rally, pushing the odds of a quarter-point rate cut higher to 86% from just 66% a week ago.
