Reducing children’s screen use for better sleep, mental, and brain health: A personalised approach

Description: This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of reducing screen use in primary aged children on improving cognitive function.

Duration: 3-6 weeks of monitoring, depending on the study group, In-person wearing sleep tracking watches and performing cognitive tests

Requirements: - Child is 6-12 years old
- If your child habitually spends more than 2 hours on media use on school days
- If your child habitually sleeps less than 8 hours on school nights
- Child and parent are both English-speaking
- Child is not on any long-term medications
- Child has no history of psychiatric or neurological disorders
- Child has no known medical or developmental conditions that could affect sleep
