The best of deeds are at their ending, and the end of fasting is at the time of #iftar (breaking the fast), and the nearest the fasting person gets to his Lord is when he breaks his fast, which is why he has a duʿa at that time that is not rejected.

The last ten nights of Ramaḍān are better than the twenty before them combined, let alone other nights [of the year]. Every righteous deed that is great is even greater in these ten nights, and a few deeds therein are a lot in the scale.
العشر الأواخر من رمضان أفضل من العشرين قبلها مجتمعة فضلاً عن غيرها، وكل عمل صالح معظّم فهو في العشر أعظم، والعمل القليل فيها كثير في الميزان.

The Prophet ﷺ devoting his time to Iʿtikāf in the last ten nights while administering the Islamic state, answering people’s requests for fatwas and the Ummah being in need of him... is all evidence that it is preferable to postpone interests of a general nature for the sake of these ten nights.
انقطاع النبي ﷺ في العشر بالاعتكاف، مع كونه يدير دولة الإسلام ويفتي الأنام والأمة تحتاج إليه، دليل على أن الأولى تأجيل المصالح لأجل هذه العشر

The woman who is prevented from praying due to menses can sit in her musalla (prayer area) during the #LasTenNights without praying; she can recite, remember Allah and make duʿa to Him. And it is hoped that she attains the reward of the last ten nights and #LaylatulQadr.

Whoever realizes the scope of Allah’s mercy will consider major sins as minor, and whoever realizes the severity of His punishment will consider minor sins as major. The believer takes a balanced approach so as not to feel too safe nor fall into despair.
من عرف سعة (رحمة الله) استصغر الكبائر، ومن عرف (شدّة عقابه) استعظم الصغائر، والمؤمن يتوسّط حتى لا يأمن ولا يقنط.

Taking sins lightly in Ramaḍān is what reduces the reward, and may even eliminate the reward of fasting. It is narrated from Anas and al-Nakhaʿī that backbiting invalidates the fast, meaning that it takes away its reward until it is as if one has invalidated his fast.
التساهل بالمحرمات في رمضان، مما ينقص الأجر، وربما أزال ثواب الصيام يُروى عن أنس والنخعي أن الغيبة تُفطر الصائم. أي: تُذهب أجره حتى كأنه مفطر

Most people do not differentiate between ‘pleasure’ and ‘happiness’, and search for happiness in pleasure. So when their pleasure finishes, their chests become constrained. Through Īmān (faith), happiness is achieved, even if pleasure is missing.
أكثر الناس لا يفرق بين (المتعة) و(السعادة) ويبحثون عن السعادة في المتعة فإذا انتهت لذتهم ضاقت صدورهم وبالإيمان تتحقق السعادة وإن غابت المتعة.
The best months for fasting after Ramaḍān are Muḥarram and Sha‘bān, and it is not encouraged to fast an entire month voluntarily other than these two. It is mentioned in the Ṣaḥīḥ Bukhārī that the Prophet ﷺ used to fast all of Sha‘bān.
أفضل الأشهر للصيام بعد رمضان محرم وشعبان ولا يُستحب صوم شهر كامل تطوعا غيرهما، وفي الصحيح أن النبي ﷺ «كان يصوم شعبان كله»

“The Sharīʿah has venerated the mother and made all of her days those of honour and loyalty towards her. Not only that, but it has also commanded honour and loyalty to her friends after her death. As for giving her attention for just one day of the year, it is a disregard for her and an innovation in the religion.”

Allah’s love for a person does not necessitate everyone loving him, but only the people of sound fitrahs. Allah said about Musa: “And I bestowed upon you love from Me.” [Ta Ha 20:39]
Even though he was the most hated of people to Firʿawn and his followers.
Supplication From The Heart
Presence of the heart while supplicating is a requirement for it to get accepted. The most repeated supplication people make is:
اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ
"..guide us to the straight path.." Sūrah al-Fātiḥah (1): 5 (as we always recite it in our prayers) and yet most are lost.
That's because supplication with the tongue without presence of heart is (mere) mumbling.

Reflecting over the creations of Allah proves the greatness of Allah, for none creates anything magnificent except one who is more magnificent, and none creates anything great except one who is greater. Reflection is the light of intellects; it shows them the greatness of Allah in His signs.
التفكر بمخلوقات الله يدل على عظمة الله، فلا يخلق العظيمَ إلا الأعظم ولا يخلق الكبيرَ إلا الأكبر، التفكّر نور العقول يريها عظمة الله في آياته
A hypocrite is more dangerous than a kāfir enemy, because the former will attack you while you are safe and your door open, while the latter will attack you while you are cautious and your door closed:
{ هُمُ الْعَدُوُّ فَاحْذَرْهُمْ قَاتَلَهُمُ اللَّهُ أَنَّى يُؤْفَكُونَ }
“They are the enemy, so beware of them. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded?” [Al-Munāfiqūn 63:4]

Whoever is with Allah, Allah is with him; if He gives him good He blesses it for him, and if He touches him with affliction He alleviates him through it.
من كان مع الله كان الله معه، إن أعطاه خيراً بارك له فيه، وإن مسّه بضر لطف عليه به

Nothing has been reported from the Prophet ﷺ or the Companions concerning linking Laylat-ul-Qadr with the night of Friday (Thursday night). There is no special merit of the night of Friday. Rather, it is authentically reported in a ḥadīth the prohibition of specifying the night of Friday itself for night prayer.
لم يرد عن النبي ﷺ ولا عن الصحابة ربط ليلة القدر بليلة الجمعة ولا مزية لليلة الجمعة وقد ثبت في الحديث النهي عن تخصيص ليلة الجمعة لذاتها بقيام

There is no definite sign of Laylat-ul-Qadr that precedes it. However, there have been mentioned circumstantial signs that follow it. It is authentic that the sun rises in the morning that follows it without rays. It is not authentic that dogs, donkeys and roosters remain silent on the morning that follows it.
لا يصح لليلة القدر علامة قبلية قطعية، وجاءت علامات بعدية ظنية، صح (أن الشمس صبيحتها بلا شعاع) ولا يصح سكوت الكلاب والحمير والديكة صبيحتها

He has lost, he has lost, he has lost… the one who does not sell hours and buy eighty-three years:
{ لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ }
“The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months.” [Al-Qadr 97:3]
مغبون .. مغبون .. مغبون، من لم يبع ساعات ويشتري ثلاثة وثمانين عاماً (ليلة القدر خيرٌ من ألف شهر)
The best of deeds on #LaylatulQadr and the last ten nights is #Salah, #Quran and #dua. The best of states is to combine the three by prolonging the #qiyam (voluntary night-prayer) with Qur’an and prolonging the sujud with duʿa.

Qiyam al-Layl the entire night from ʿIsha’ to Fajr is against the sunnah except during #Ramadan, for the sunnah is to stay awake in the night for those capable. And sleeping during the day is better than sleeping at night during Ramadan specifically for the worshipper.

Your status with Allah is like His status with you when you are alone.
منزلتك عند الله كمنزلته عندك إذا خلوت.
No nation disgraces the Prophet ﷺ except that Allāh will disgrace it. The Prophet ﷺ is not in need of anyone's defence - rather, everyone is in need of defending him, as proof of their Īmān (faith) in him.
Whosoever does not stand up in support of the Dīn (religion) of Allāh, then he should not anticipate Allāh's support (to descend).
Allāh the Most High says,
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِن تَنصُرُوا اللَّهَ يَنصُرْكُمْ
"O you who believe, if you will help (the religion prescribed by) Allāh, He will help you..." (Sūrah Muḥammad 47: 7)

“Whoever does not recognize his mother except for one day of the year is disobedient to her. As for he who upholds relations with her, gives her gifts and is loyal and honours her every day, then Mother’s Day is meaningless to him, as Mother’s Day is appropriate for the disobedient, not the loyal.”

Supplications and Words of Remembrance After the Obligatory Prayer

One Can Choose from Any of the Below Ways as All of Them Are Found in the Sunnah:
سُبْحَانَ اللَّـه، اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، اَللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ
SubhanAllah (10x), Alhamdu lillaahi (10x), Allaahu ‘Akbar(10x).
“Glory is to Allah (10x), and praise is to Allah (10x), and Allah is the Most Great (10x).”
Sahih Bukhari (no. 843)
سُبْحَانَ اللَّـه، اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، اَللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ
SubhanAllah (33x), Alhamdu lillaahi (33x), Allaahu ‘Akbar (33x).
“Glory is to Allah (33x), and praise is to Allah (33x), and Allah is the Most Great (33x).”
Sahih Bukhari (no. 843)
Then recite the following, completing a 100:
لَا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Laa ‘ilaaha ‘illallaahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu wa Huwa ‘alaa kulli shay’in Qadeer.
“None has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, He has no partner, His is the dominion and His is the praise and He is Able to do all things.”
Sahih Bukhari (no. 6329) and Sahih Muslim (no. 1380)
سُبْحَانَ اللَّـه، اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، اَللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ

Words Of Remembrance For The Morning

بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
قُلْ هُوَ اللهُ أَحَدٌ ۞ اللهُ الصَّمَدُ ۞ لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ ۞وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ
بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ ۞ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ ۞ وَمِنْ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ ۞ وَمِنْ شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ ۞ وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ
بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ ۞ مَلِكِ النَّاسِ ۞ إِلَهِ النَّاسِ ۞ مِنْ شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ ۞ الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ ۞ مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ

أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ وَ لَا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، رَبِّ أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ مَا فِي هَذَا الْيَومِ، وَخَيْرَ مَا بَعْدَهُ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا فِي هَذَا الْيَومِ، وَشَرِّ مَا بَعْدَهُ، رَبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ، وَسُوءِ الكِبَرِ، رَبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابٍ فِي النَّارِ وَعَذَابٍ فِي الْقَبْرِ

اَللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ، اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي دِينِي وَدُنْيَايَ وَأَهْلِي، وَمَالِي، اَللَّهُمَّ اسْتُرْ عَوْرَاتِي، اَللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنِي مِنْ بَيْنَ يَدَيَّ، وَمِنْ خَلْفِي، وَعَنْ يَمِينِي، وَعَنْ شِمَالِي، وَمِنْ فَوْقِي، وَأَعُوذُ بِعَظَمَتِكَ أَنْ أُغْتَالَ مِنْ تَحْتِي

اَللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أَصْبَحْنَا، وَبِكَ أَمْسَيْنَا، وَبِكَ نَحْيَا، وَبِكَ نَمُـوْتُ وَإِلَيْكَ النُّشُورُ

لَا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
(Recite This One Hundred Times At Any Time Between Fajr And Sunset. One Can Also Recite It All At Once or He Can Recite It In Sections Both Is Fine.)
