Mankind fight over worldly reasons in a year more than they fight over religion in a hundred years. Islam came with mercy; if we implemented it as Allah wants, its toughness would be gentle and its gentleness would be a mercy.

❶ It is preferable to make the qada’ of #Ramadan in virtuous days, like Mondays, the three middle days [of the lunar month] and the [first] ten days of Dhul-Hijjah; and it is hoped that one will gain the reward of both.
❷ ʿUmar said, “The ten days [of Dhul-Hijjah] are more beloved to me for making the qada’ of Ramadan in.”

It is from noble manners that when you help a needy person, you make clear that credit goes to him. By doing so, you elevate the needy person so that he is not humiliated and lower yourself so that you don’t become arrogant.

Sending ṣalāh upon the Prophet ﷺ on Friday is better than on the rest of the days, and its night (Thursday night) is the best of nights. He ﷺ said, “Among the best of your days is Friday, so frequently send ṣalāh upon me therein.”

‘Intention’ is the trade of the scholars... It is encouraged for one to make his fasting of six days of Shawwāl coincide with fasting Mondays, the three middle days of the lunar month and other similar days to receive both rewards. It is authentically narrated that ʿUmar would combine the fasting of days he missed (qaḍā’) with optional (nafl) fasts.

Of those most deserving of the intercession of the Prophet ﷺ are those who send ṣalāh (supplications for peace) upon him the most, and the best day to send ṣalāh upon him is Friday.

There is no definite sign of Laylat-ul-Qadr that precedes it. However, there have been mentioned circumstantial signs that follow it. It is authentic that the sun rises in the morning that follows it without rays. It is not authentic that dogs, donkeys and roosters remain silent on the morning that follows it.

Rulings of Zakāh Al-Fitr Made Easy - Shaykh ‘Abdul-‘Azīz ibn Marzūq aṭ-Ṭarīfī
Who should pay Zakāh?
It is obligatory on all males and females. It is best for each individual to pay for themselves and if not possible then the guardian can pay on behalf of everyone he is in charge of.
It is recommended and not obligatory to give Zakāh Al-Fitr for the foetus in the mothers womb.
What is meant to be given?
It is meant to be given in the form of a staple food that is custom to that land like rice or flour depending on what people eat in that country.
Can you give cash?
It is not reported from the Prophet ﷺ or the companions that they ever have cash money.
It is best to provide the food itself but in our time it is allowed to send the value of the food in cash for that to be used to buy the food and then distribute to the poor.
Where should Zakāh Al-Fitr be given?
It is more appropriate to give it to the poor in one’s own country. However if there is a more needy country then it can be sent abroad.
When should it be given?
The best time to give it is between the Fajr and Eīd Prayer.
It is allowed to pay the Zakāh Al-Fitr in advance by a day or two as been reported by the companions of the Prophet ﷺ.
It is incorrect to pay it after the Eīd Prayer, it would be regarded as general charity (Sadaqah) and not as Zakāh Al-Fitr.

Yesterday marked the sixth anniversary of the arrest of Shaykh ‘Abdul-‘Azīz ibn Marzūq aṭ-Ṭarīfī, whose case is still completely ignored by the authorities.
He has been detained since April 23, 2016, without being brought before the judiciary or issuing a ruling against him.
Please remember him in your supplications in these blessed nights.
The woman who is prevented from praying due to menses can sit in her musalla (prayer area) during the #LasTenNights without praying; she can recite, remember Allah and make duʿa to Him. And it is hoped that she attains the reward of the last ten nights and #LaylatulQadr.

The best of deeds are at their ending, and the end of fasting is at the time of fiṭr (breaking the fast), and the nearest the fasting person gets to his Lord is when he breaks his fast; that is why he has a duʿā at that time that is not rejected.

The Prophet ﷺ devoting his time to Iʿtikāf in the last ten nights while administering the Islamic state, answering people’s requests for fatwas and the Ummah being in need of him... is all evidence that it is preferable to postpone interests of a general nature for the sake of these ten nights.

The Prophet ﷺ said: "Pray as you have seen me praying." Ṣaḥīḥ Al-Bukhārī (no. 7246)
In this short booklet, I have summarised the book, 'Description of the Prayer of the Prophet ﷺ' by Shaykh 'Abdul-'Azīz bin Marzūq Aṭ-Ṭarīfī (May Allāh hasten his release) into 46 points.
It is ideal for beginner students and new Muslims. The booklet should be used to teach others how the Prophet ﷺ used to pray.

Some Rulings Related To The 6 Fasts of The Month of Shawwāl
Shaykh Abdul Aziz At-Tarefe
Abu Ayyub Al-Ansari (May Allah be pleased with him) narrated that The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
"Whoever fasts during the month of Ramadan and then follows it with six days of Shawwāl will be (rewarded) as if he had fasted the entire year."
Recorded in Sahih Muslim (no. 1164)
A question that regularly gets asked should one keep the obligatory fasts before the voluntary 6 of Shawwāl?
It is permissible to keep the six fasts of Shawwāl before making up for the missed fasts during Ramadan.
Does it have to be one after the other or can it be performed separately?
It does not have to be performed consecutively, it can be performed on separate days.
Combining intentions for fasting on the Sunnah days:
Intention is the trade and commerce of the scholars, as such, it is preferred for one to make each of his six fasts during Shawwāl coincided with another Sunnah day of fasting, like for example:
- Mondays,
- Thursdays,
- 'The Moonlit days' (middle three days of a lunar month) and the like, so as to attain a double reward.
It is permissible to fast six days of Shawwāl before making up missed fasts for someone who broke his fast in Ramaḍān, because whoever breaks his fast in Ramaḍān with an excuse is like a person who has fasted, and he comes under the saying of the Prophet ﷺ, “Whoever fasts Ramaḍān and follows it with six days of Shawwāl is like fasting for a whole year.” However, he is still liable for making up the missed days (of Ramaḍān).
