1/ With Q2 coming to an end, we wanted to share a quick update with the Solcial community. If you have been following us for a while, many of these updates will not be new - but might be helpful in a summarized format.

2/ First, an update on the product. We have been incorporating testers over the last several weeks. These testers will ensure we lead Web3 social media once we launch. More on their importance here: https://blog.solcial.io/english/progressive-launch-why-testers-are-important/

3/ Next we have been working on solutions around encryption and how creators will be able to monetize private content to the masses. This type of technology has never been implemented in this type of way and our team has made significant strides as we forge new paths.

4/ This along with a number of other technical upgrades including enhanced features have kept the development team busy. We are more confident than ever that Solcial is in a strong position to launch in the near future - as we have said before - Network Effect is crucial for us!

5/ While we've seen many macro challenges (war, bear markets, etc) we remain optimistic and confident in our success in the long run. We are building Solcial to change the world and we know that this mission isn't one that will be done without challenges.

6/ On the marketing side we have seen major success with our Scouts. Demand to become a Scout is high and we are seeing better content and more engagement every day! We will continue to ramp up content as we get closer to launch.

7/ At the end of the day we are extremely happy with the progress we have made this past quarter. Yes, there have been challenges, but that is normal and to be expected. As a team, we have remained consistent with our plans and can't wait for what Q3 has in store for us.

8/ Thank you to the community and our loyal supporters - we can’t wait for all of you to join Solcial and experience what we and our core testers are experiencing. With that said, let’s keep building the future of social media!

Update & Recap for the Solcial Community:

1/ The team at Solcial has had a hectic last few weeks. We've minted and listed our token, grown our community, and most importantly made solid progress towards the launch of our platform. Trust us, we can't wait for everyone to use Solcial. Let's recap and look at next steps

2/ We decided to launch SLCL prior to launching the Solcial platform for 3 main reasons:

1. Give the community a chance to buy SLCL as it will be needed to buy user tokens on the platform.
2. Reward early community members.
3. Grow the community.

3/ Overall TGE has been a major success with over 5,000 wallets currently holding SLCL (without including CEX user wallets). This means more than 5,000 users will have the fuel for the platform right when we launch. We've also seen massive growth within our community stemming from TGE.

4/ If you want to purchase the Solcial native token $SLCL, you now can on 3 exchanges.

The team has had fun onboarding everyone introducing trading on both CEX and DEX platforms.

5/ While many people are excited about SLCL, we are more pumped about the progress we've been making on the platform. While many of you have been waiting, no one is more impatient to use Solcial than us. But we need to get it right on every aspect to be adopted by retail users.

6/ Our Dev and Design team have been working through all the bugs, building UI that will make sure you have fun and keep coming back to the platform, while still finding new ways to keep the experience as easy as Web2 social networks.

7/ We're hesitant to give exact dates (as we prefer to not over-promise) but we hope to start giving external invite-codes to some of the first users in the next month or so. We will then accelerate our testing and adapt with the market.

8/ As we’ve been using Solcial internally, we realise it’s not only changing the way we interact online. It almost creates a human casino of sorts. People buy each others tokens and speculate on their success. Think of it as social media meets crypto exchange. Lots of fun 🙂

9/ We know the community can’t wait to join, so in the meantime stay tuned to our community chats and feel free to ask questions. We will be giving more information as we get closer to launch.
