Carving Krishna!
This life of material existence is just like hard wood and if we can carve Krsna out of it, that is the success of our life.
- From Srila Prabhupada's letter to Krsna Devi -- Los Angeles 26 January, 1968
Lazy Intelligent, Busy Intelligent, Lazy Fool, And Busy Fool!
There are four classes of men: lazy intelligent, busy intelligent, lazy fool and busy fool. First-class man is lazy intelligent. So first-class man is lazy intelligent. Just like you'll see the high-court judges, they're very lazy and most intelligent. That is first-class man. They are doing everything very soberly. And the next class: busy intelligent. Intelligence should be used very soberly. And the third class: lazy foo —lazy, at the same time, fool. And the fourth class: busy fool. Busy fool is very dangerous. So all these people, they're busy. In this country—everywhere, all over the world, not this country or that country—they have discovered this horseless carriage—very busy. [imitates cars' noise] "ons, ons," this way this way, this way. But actually, they are not intelligent. Busy fool. Therefore they are creating problems after problem. That's a fact. They are so busy, but because they are fool, therefore they are creating problems.

It is so nice to see how enthusiastic you are in executing this process of devotional service and how much you like your engagement there in New Vrindaban. So you continue in this way, always thinking of Krsna, chanting 16 rounds, reading the books, and doing your daily chores all on behalf of Krsna. As your devotional service becomes mature you shall see Krsna more and more, and more and more you shall realize the qualities of the holy land of Vraja.
From Srila Prabhupada's letter to Hladini -- Calcutta 28 January, 1973
By engaging ourselves in God’s service, we become qualified to see God. Otherwise it is not possible. We may be great scientists or scholars, but our mundane scholarship will not help us see God.
The Path of Perfection, Chapter 3
No one can understand the transcendental nature of the name, form, quality, and pastimes of Śrī Kṛṣṇa through his materially contaminated senses. Only when one becomes spiritually saturated by transcendental service to the Lord are the transcendental name, form, quality, and pastimes of the Lord revealed to him.” (Bhakti-rasāmṛta-sindhu 1.2.234)

Lord Siva Becomes Very Puzzled!
It is described that by hearing the vibration of Krsna's flute, Lord Siva becomes very puzzled and begins to cry so loudly into space that the demons become vanquished and the devotees become overwhelmed with joy.

Pleasing The Deities!

Srila Prabhupada's Advice To Businessmen!
If you want perfection in your business, then you must try to satisfy the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Otherwise you are simply wasting your time.
- Srila Prabhupada, as quoted in Journey of Self-discovery 6.3: Spiritual Advice to Businessmen
*Material Means Dirty, Spiritual Means Clean!*
The more you cleanse the temple, the more you decorate the Deity, more your heart becomes cleansed and you become spiritually decorated. So cleanliness is next to godliness. Material world means dirty things and spiritual world means clean.

Sri Advaita Acarya, the leader of Navadvipa’s small but dedicated Vaisnava community, worshipped Lord Krsna with tulasi leaves and Ganga water and beseeched Him to appear. In answer to Advaita Acarya’s entreaties Lord Krsna entered the womb of Sacidevi, whose pregnancy endured for thirteen months. During this time Jagannatha Misra would sometimes see divine beings in his home, yet he was unaware that they were demigods coming to pray to Lord Caitanya.

Avyartha-kalatvam!
Not that perform Krsna consciousness fifteen minutes' meditation, and then do all nonsense thing twenty-four hours. No, no, no, no. Not that kind of... Twenty-four hours engaged in Krsna consciousness, that is wanted. That is called asakrt. Twenty-four. So you have to make your formula of life in such a way that not a single moment is gone without Krsna consciousness. Avyartha-kalatvam [Cc Madhya 23.18-19]. This is Rupa Gosvami's... A devotee, a pure devotee of Krsna, he always sees: "Whether my time is wasted unnecessarily?" He should be very much alert: "Why I'm sleeping so much, wasted so much time?" That is devotees, Krsna conscious. "Oh, I am wasting so much time without any engagement of Krsna consciousness?"

Flies And Bees!
The flies, they are finding out where is sore, and the bees, they are finding out where there is honey. So two animals, they have got two business: fault-finding and collecting the good things. Similarly, there are many rascals who are simply fault-finding. Blasphemy means you have good qualities, but still, I am defaming you. The saintly person tends to overlook the bad qualities and see the good ones.
