Last week I was reading the book “The believer's Authority” by Kenneth E. Hagin and he was through His book enlightening and exposing believers to the subject that as believers, we possess the Authority of Jesus and we already have victory over satan because Jesus defeated him for us.He expatriated that unless our eyes are opened to this revelation we may continue to live in subjectivity to the wills and caprice of satan.
Furthermore, on the recommendation of one of my friends and brother, I was privileged to see the movie ‘The Pope exorcist’ and it really made me gain insight into what reverend Kenneth E. Hagin was trying to pass across to us in his book. moreover, from the movie, I could deduce the following conclusions that:
1. As a believer, we are constantly at war against the kingdom of darkness. the kingdom of darkness are not joking nor playing with us as children of God.
2. The name of Jesus is feared and reverenced in the kingdom of darkness. The name of JESUS is above every other name on earth, under the earth and in Heaven. The devil is under the feet of THE NAME. Philippians 2:9-11
3. When you genuinely confess your sins and repent from them, the Lord has forgiven and washed you of such. you need to forsake them and follow Jesus wholeheartedly. (1 John 1:7).
4. There's no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. The devil knows your fears and guilt would always bring up your dirty past so as to condemn you into captivity. Be word-conscious of what the bible says about you. know the word of God for yourself. (Romans 8:1).
5. The devil is provoked when we engage in the power of prayers. he makes you feel like your prayers are of no effect in order to discourage you from engaging in it.
6. The devil is a deceiver. All what the devil is doing is to distract the church so we can't fathom what he is doing or planning. sometimes he can give you pleasure so as to distract you from his real plan.
7. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty only through God to the pulling of strongholds, casting down of imaginations, resisting the devil and casting out his demons. you can't win the devil on your own, you need to humble yourselves before the Lord. (2 Corinthians 10:4-5, Ephesians 6:10-19)
8. If you are a minister of God, you must keep yourself pure and watchful in all things. it is the devil's desire to sift you like a wheat.
THIS IS A CLARION CALL TO AWAKEN HOLINESS AND HUNGER TO FOLLOW JESUS WITH YOUR HEART TO THE VERY END. THE DEVIL IS AT WAR AND THOSE WHO WILL TRIUMPH MUST LEARN TO BRING HIS WAR TO THE ENEMIES' GATE.

*Aims*
to study the nature of eternal reward and
to study the qualification for eternal reward.
*Introduction*
Unlike the earthly reward that is temporal, the eternal reward will be forever enjoyed in heaven. Rev 14: 1-5 reveals those who finished their race on earth in holiness, truth and faith in Christ Jesus. They never allowed the glamour, the challenges and the sweetness of this world to defile them and take them out of the track of eternal life. Focusing on what will qualify us to win this eternal crown is very essential in our Christian race. Our study will beam more light to what it takes to win this reward.
*Study Guide*
What do we mean by eternal reward? Matt 25: 34-35;
Read 1Pet 5: 2-4 and Rev 2: 10 and explain what it takes for someone to inherit the crown of life.
Discuss in details, Rev 14: 4-5 and explain what it means to be ‘an undefiled’ and ‘a virgin’ for the Lord. Compare with Hos 2: 19-20
Mention some of the eternal rewards of the faithful in Christ. Rev 7: 15-17;
*Conclusion*
Even though, as Christians, we may face various challenges and persecutions on our race to the kingdom of God, our perseverance and steadfastness in the faith shall definitely end in glorious reward in eternity with God. Let us therefore endure to continuously focus on eternal reward instead of temporary reward on earth.
