As part of its criminal, aggressive, and expansionist project, the Israeli enemy continues, in the presence and knowledge of the Lebanese authorities and the world, to terrorize and commit crimes against southern Lebanon, by destroying villages, burning homes, leveling roads and fields, bombing schools and hospitals, and terrorizing innocent civilians. It is attempting to erase all aspects of life in the resistant and steadfast southern Lebanon, in a desperate attempt to prevent its honorable people from returning to their villages, homes, and fields, which they have cultivated with their sacrifices and the blood of their martyrs.
The primary responsibility for the continuation of these ongoing crimes lies with the silent, absent, and even complicit Lebanese authorities, which have granted the enemy legitimacy for its occupation and practices by signing the framework agreement. Meanwhile, they continue to ignore everything that is happening, and they do not take any action, as if the sounds of those explosions, which are deafening, do not reach their ears. They do not utter a word, and the Lebanese people have seen no action from them that is in accordance with their national and sovereign duty to exert political and diplomatic pressure in international forums to stop the acts of destruction and demolition, and to make this demand a priority and a fundamental condition for Lebanon in all its meetings and communications.
We call on these authorities not to continue turning their backs on their people, and to listen to the cries and pain of the people of the south, who see their homes destroyed every day, their fields burned, and the landmarks of their villages erased. The people of the south want to protect their land and ensure their security and stability, and this is a responsibility that first lies with the authorities. If the authorities are unable to fulfill their duty, then at least they should not prevent them from their legitimate right to defend themselves and their land.
We demand that the Lebanese authorities assume their national and constitutional responsibilities, and take immediate action at all political and diplomatic levels to stop the crimes of destruction committed by the enemy. We also call on the international community, with all its institutions, to assume its responsibilities and compel the enemy to stop its aggression and withdraw from all occupied Lebanese territories.

• Hamas and the Palestinian factions extend their greetings and appreciation to our steadfast people in the Gaza Strip and affirm that they will continue working together along this path for the sake of our people and to preserve all their rights.
