The Company's focus is primarily on niche therapeutic areas and complex products. FDF products are sold in the United States, India, Europe and the rest of the world . Inox Wind : Inox Wind Limited is engaged in the business of manufacture and sale of Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) and also provides Erection, Procurement & Commissioning (EPC), Operations & Maintenance (O&M), wind farm development and Common Infrastructure Facilities services for WTGs and wind farm development services. Inox Wind reported consolidated revenues of Rs 742 cr for Q2 FY '25, reflecting a 93% increase YoY. EBITDA soared to INR 189 cr, up 171%(YoY), with a profit after tax of INR 90 cr, a substantial turnaround from last year's loss. The company executed 140 megawatts during the Q2FY25 and has an order book of 3.3 gigawatts. Management anticipates higher execution numbers in the second half of the year due to increased order inflows and improved margins. Additionally the termination of royalty payments for 3-megawatt turbines is expected to enhance profitability by approximately Rs 600,000 per megawatt starting in the next financial year, contributing to improved EBITDA margins. The company is focused on maintaining strong cash reserves and optimizing operations through strategic planning while anticipating a nil tax rate for FY '25 and a projected increase in margins, especially from ongoing and future projects. Company has also recently forayed into Solar manufacturing which would also provide good traction for the company. Positive on Inox Wind given the strong fundamentals and performance of the company.
Bharat Forge : Bharat Forge Ltd (BFL) is a part of Kalyani Group. The Company is engaged in the manufacturing and selling of forged and machined components including aluminium castings for the auto and industrial sectors. It operates manufacturing facilities at Mundhwa, Baramati, Chakan, Satara and Nellore locations. For Q2FY25, on a standalone basis, the company reported flat revenue growth on a YoY basis to Rs 2,247 cr, although there was a significant improvement in margins. The Operating margins expanded by 140 bp (YoY) to 28.8%. Despite challenges in European operations, expectations are positive for growth in India's commercial and agro markets, alongside strong demand in the U.S. for defense and aerospace sectors. For H1FY25 new orders totaled Rs 646 cr , mainly from defense contracts, with an impressive defense order book of Rs 5,900 cr and revenue of Rs 509 cr in Q2FY25. The aerospace business is expanding, with expectations of rapid growth. CapEx was Rs 80 cr in H1FY25, with lower spending anticipated in the latter half as previous U.S. investments are largely completed. The company is investing in subsidiaries for CapEx in the U.S., enhancing the auto components and solar energy verticals. Company expects a 40%-50% revenue growth in defense segment for the current year and significant contributions from future contracts. The products of the Company are widely used in VSAT operations, radars, and navigational equipment, public mobile trunk radio (PMTR), WLL, Cellular GSM/DCS or PCS networks. For the quarter ended Q2FY25 ,the company reported consolidated revenue of Rs 230 cr, a 21% YoY growth, with EBITDA growing by 16% YoY to 49cr. The EBITDA margin came at 21% bolstered by 80% of revenues coming from local defence production. During the quarter, the company entered into an MOU with Premier Explosives Limited for a strategic alliance and a joint venture with Manjeera Digital Systems focused on manufacturing NavIC chips. These alliances would help the company to provide innovative solutions in the defense segment. Currently company’s order book stands at solid Rs 2,269 cr. Management has a target for new orders between Rs 1,200 - 1,300 cr and a projected annual revenue of Rs 1,000 - 1,100 cr for FY25. The company is also investing heavily in R&D for advancing in silicon carbide wafers and GaN-based technologies. There are also ongoing developments in radar systems and a telemetry missile export order. Waaree Energies : Company has a robust history of two decades in the solar industry. Currently the company has a manufacturing facility in Chikhli, Gujarat. This facility has one of the largest concentration of solar PV module manufacturing in India. Additionally it also has a US factory under construction, which is expected to begin production soon. Current order book stands at 20 gigawatts, with a diversified customer base including exports, large customers, and retail. Currently orderbook is divided into 27.5% domestic and 72.5% overseas, indicating a strong international presence.Retail segment is currently at 23% of overall business, with significant growth potential. The company posted robust results in Q2 FY25 with revenue at Rs 3,663 cr (up 2.95% YoY). EBITDA at Rs 613 cr (up 14% YoY), with a margin of 16.76%. PAT stood at Rs 376 cr (up 17.5% YoY). Company is expected to benefit positively from the diversification of supply chain away from china. Additionally India's target of 500 gigawat renewable energy, translating to 50-60 gigawat annualy is also a major driver of growth for the company. During H1 FY25 production reached 3.3 gigawatts, compared to 4.8 gigawatts for the entire previous financial year. Anticipated production from the new 5.4 gigawatt cell facility is expected to start in December 2024, with plans for full ramp-up by March 2025. Company is also evaluating U.S. capacity expansion with 3.4 GW of modules and 5 GW of cells. Management is very optimistic about solar energy's multi-decadal growth potential. It also offers analytical and support services to clinical research organizations for their clinical research projects. Metropolis, in Q2 FY25, saw its revenues grow by 13.4% YoY to Rs 349.8 cr, with a 21% growth in B2C revenues and a 13% growth in B2B revenues. EBITDA increased by 22%, with margins expanding by 190 basis points to 26.2%. Patient volumes grew 7%(YoY), and test volumes were up 8%(YoY). Profit After Tax (PAT) rose by 31%(YoY) to Rs 46.7 cr, indicating the company's efficiency in operations and expanding market presence. Company has recently acquired a 100% stake in Core Diagnostics, a Delhi-NCR-based cancer diagnostics company. This acquisition significantly enhances its already growing strength in advanced oncology testing. It is expected to increase the oncology revenue contribution to top line from 4% to 10%, expanding its super-specialised test portfolio to 41%. The deal also provided Metropolis with a stronger presence in North and East India, together with access to Core's excellent network of 1,600 oncologists and 6,000 specialty prescribers. With the demand for cancer testing expected to grow at a 17.5% CAGR this acquisition has provided Metropolis with capacities to address critical healthcare needs. Additionally, the integration offers significant revenue and EBITDA growth potential, along with cross-selling opportunities and operational synergies to enhance patient care and market presence.
