🛠 The Great Fix™ is complete! STONfi DEX is now ready for high loads, thanks to improved internal algorithms. You can find the full list of changes and enhancements both on the Telegram channel and in our blog.

🛠 STONfi becomes even more convenient! We’ve modified the algorithm for creating new pools. Now, transactions to create a new pool can be done with a single click, enhancing the DEX experience for advanced users.

🗿 The Great Fix™ is complete.

⚡️ Stonfiers! Over the past few weeks, we have been working diligently on a number of improvements aimed at optimizing DEX performance by strengthening its internal structure. We are proud to announce that The Great Fix™ is complete, and you can now witness an improved version of DEX.

The Great Fix™ includes:

1. Users now always see the correct token value in dollar equivalent. We have improved the complex algorithm on the backend, and it is now capable of accurately determining asset values even under high blockchain or DEX loads.

2. From time to time, we restart DEX to add a new feature or perform technical maintenance. As part of The Great Fix™, we have improved the service update process — users will no longer experience inconvenience during reboots.

3. Along with the number of users, the number of processed requests has also increased. We have reworked the algorithm that displays balances and significantly reduced the time it takes for users to receive complete information about their assets. No more delays during authorization!

4. APY in liquidity pools is now calculated using an improved algorithm and is always displayed correctly.

5. Retrieving data from the blockchain when providing liquidity is now much faster, which has accelerated the display of data in the interface. Providing liquidity to STON.fi DEX has become even more convenient!

⚡️ The first LonTON meetup was successfully completed! We are special guests at a monthly event for various Web3 projects. There we present our product, share successes in development and marketing, discuss future plans with representatives of other teams, and of course, make useful acquaintances!

✨ Stonbassadors have received their rewards once again. In December, we received several thousand new works and marked 42 (our favorite number!) authors who shared 1648 STON. Here you can find out how to become a Stonbassador, and here we share useful tips for our future authors.

🗿 DYOR Twice Before You TRADE Once

⚡️ Stonfiers! As you already know, any user can add their token to the STON.fi DEX using the contract address. The availability to add your own assets to our DEX list ensures trading pair diversity and provides more opportunities for trading. This is undoubtedly a big plus ✨

On the other hand, interacting with any tokens can carry certain risks.

⚠️ We remind you that community tokens have not been added to the default list, and they do not have liquidity guarantees. Trading any tokens should be done with an understanding of all risks. There are known cases where the development team instantly sold their native assets or depleted available liquidity at the peak of the token’s popularity. This fraudulent practice is called a Rug Pull. More information about Rug Pulls can be found in our blog.

⚠️ Another example of fraudulent tactics is a fake token. Such asset can pretend to be a well-known token or the official token of a particular project. A fake token may have the name and logo of a popular project, but a careful trader will not find any information about it on official resources. Recently, similar schemes have been noticed around Notcoin.

How to protect yourself from fraudulent schemes?

✨ DYOR - Do Your Own Research. Always. Explore all available materials about the project and the development team. Pay attention to liquidity volumes, price impact indicators, and all other possible metrics. Look at the asset price charts, clarify what exactly led to its popularity, and do not succumb to artificial hype.

DYOR, and operations with any tokens will bring more opportunities and profit, and your funds will be safe.

⚡️ Stonfiers, the JetTon team has decided to increase January farming rewards from 9,000 to 22,000 JETTON.

Also, as decided by the JetTon team, a 10-day lock-up period for LP tokens will be implemented.

⚠️ The lock-up for LP-tokens will be changed on Friday, 01/05/23, at 14:00 UTC (tomorrow). LP tokens that were staked before 26/12/23 will be available for withdrawal at any time, while those staked later will be subject to the new lock-up period. For example, if you staked LP tokens 5 days ago, they will be locked for 4 more days starting from Friday.

6. The logic for obtaining token metadata has also been reworked. Now all token icons are displayed correctly.

7. We have improved the process of sending requests and receiving notifications about the status of operations from the blockchain. The client’s response time during any interaction and any operation is significantly reduced.

🗿 Stonbassadors: December Awards

⚡️ Stonfiers! Recently, we launched an ambassador program, where you can receive rewards for promoting our DEX in the media space, educating new users, collecting feedback, and for any other help for our project.

During the entire campaign, we reviewed several thousand works, including tweets, threads, articles, educational and entertaining videos. This month, we particularly noted the work of 42 (🙃!) participants and sent rewards totaling 1648 STON.

We would like to mention the jVault project, which implemented the GEMSTON staking pool with real GEMSTON rewards. The project received the largest reward this month ✨

🗿 TON Winter Fest, the largest campaign, has ended

⚡️ Stonfiers, TON Winter Fest has come to an end. We are moving on to the stage of determining the winners and distributing the prizes.

6 flagship projects of TON, namely: STON.fi, TON Punks, Storm Trade, EVAA, Getgems, and TON Diamonds, have joined forces to create the most extensive campaign ever conducted in the Community bot. During the campaign, 448,323 participants joined us. Almost half a million people who made history before our eyes.

The prize pool includes 5,500 STON without lock-up, prizes in TON and tokens of other participating projects. The prize will be divided among the TOP-100 participants from the tournament table and another 200 random participants.

⚠️ We will calculate the points and determine the winners when each participant receives the appropriate points for all activities. This may take several days.

Thank you to everyone who earned points, used various services on TON, helped other participants in chats, and searched for the most effective strategies! It was incredibly fun. Be sure, we'll have a lot of interesting things ahead.

Currently, in the 'Farm' tab, there are 4 farming pools available: TON/JETTON, PET/TON, UP/TON, and STON/TON. 🗿 The Great Fix™, or with great growth comes great responsibility

⚡️ Stonfiers! Recently, the DEX has been experiencing delays due to an unprecedented number of new users.

Why is this happening:
- To speed up the operation of DEX, some information is taken from the cache. This is a common practice that reduces the load on the blockchain and processes transactions faster.
- New users do not have a cache, and when processing such a user’s transaction, DEX accesses TON nodes, from where it takes information about addresses, assets on these addresses, etc.
- Due to the large influx of new users to DEX, the number of pools and assets has also increased.
- All together, this has led to an increase in the number of requests to TON nodes, which has significantly increased the load on both TON and DEX infrastructure.

What we are doing right now:
- Reducing the frequency of requests sent by DEX to TON Blockchain nodes.
- Optimizing the processes connected with user accounts.
- Changing the caching principles.
- Strengthening the DEX infrastructure by increasing the presence points in data centers around the world.

As you can see, the task is complex, requires time and attention, as our priority is always the security of your assets. They are safe.

Soon we will launch The Great Fix™, which will allow DEX to process the increased number of transactions without delays. We will tell you more about The Great Fix™ in one of our upcoming posts.
