It’s been a while but starting tomorrow, you’ll finally be able to share images in comments alongside gifs. We know this has been a highly requested feature, and we’re glad to finally enable it! While our earlier rollout of gifs went quite well, we’ve been quite hesitant to introduce images.
Why the delay? Images are a bit more challenging as they are not as ‘regulated’ as the build in gif feature, and in the past, we’ve encountered some less than ideal posts that some of you might remember. However, with the implementation of gifs and new guidelines going quite well, we’re confident that we can expand the features.
Let’s keep it fun. Obvious or excessive violations (Like NSFW/Porn) of the sub or Reddit’s site-wide rules will result in a temp or perma ban. First ban/suspension is 24 hours, 2nd is a week and the 3rd is permanent.
