Eminem and Doechii
I just started getting into Doechii. I can’t help but think her and Eminem are similar. Their style is different fs. But their energy is sooo similar. The way she talks about herself in 3rd person. Is cocky but also humble. Talks about crazy shit although could never be as crazy as Em. Also the range in different vibes/styles. Extremely talented. Just overall badass and idgaf about society or anyone’s opinion and gonna do whatever the fuck they want. Idk maybe it’s just me and I’ll get roasted for this but I really feel like she might be my new favorite rapper

Edit: Here is my first memory of Em. Back in the days, I loved Nas (still do) and a friend told me he heard a god (his words) that sounded east coast but better. I left it there for a few months, and found a clip on tv. I was in absolute awe, I even cried thinking a talent of that caliber is not normal. The rest is history

Was 2002 Eminem the most dominant year in all of music?
I was looking through Eminem’s career and 2002 was absolutely insane. He released 8 Mile and the soundtrack which included Lose Yourself (60th most streamed song on Spotify). Then he dropped The Eminem Show, which was the highest selling rap album for 20 years, contained the 51st most streamed song on Spotify, and won rap album of the year. Then, he dropped Nail in the Coffin AND Bump Heads. Then, just for fun, he signed 50 Cent. Absolutely insane. Just a few months prior, he dropped one of the best feature verses of all time on Renegade, and just a few months into 2003, 50 dropped Get Rich or Die Tryin’. Absolute insanity.
