Our brothers sat down with Shaykh Abul-Hasan Malik al-Akhdar once again to discuss his painstakingly detailed biography of Shaykh 'Abdullah al-Qar'awi - may Allah have mercy upon him. The focus of the questions put to Shaykh Abul-Hasan is about the methods and means used by Shaykh 'Abdullah in seeking knowledge, teaching and calling the people to Allah and how these methods and his wisdom can be applied and implemented in our Salafi communities in the West today.
Among the issues discussde are:

The role that Shaykh 'Abdullah's mother played in his upbringing and early education and how her example can be applied by our mothers today.
How Shaykh 'Abdullah balanced the search for knowledge with earning a living and what benefits we can take from his methods here.
The dangers of the Jam'iyyaat (charitable organizations) that offer wealth to students of knowledge and coerce them to compromise their d'awah (call) in return.
Benefits we can take from Shaykh 'Abdullah's intercation and upbringing of his students and communities outside of the organized lessons of knowledge.
How Shaykh 'Abdullah dealth with various groups of people in the society: students, children, rulers, major scholars, community leaders etc.
A mention of Shaykh 'Abdullah's most notable students who lived and taught in recent years.
The major role that Shaykh 'Abdullah played in cultivating the youth and preventing them from falling into evil and negligence.
A mention of the societal ills that Shaykh 'Abdullah encountered in his d'awah and how he rectified problems in creed, as well as indulgence in immorality in the societies.
A discussion about the robust d'awah of the Salafis as opposed to the social media influencers who just live online.
