Shaykh 'Abd al-Mushin al-'Abbad - may Allah preserve and protect him - was asked in his home: Is an individual able to memorize the Qur'an after reaching the age of fifty?
He replied: Yes, and I am from those who memorized the Qur'an after the age of fifty! There were Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) who Islam reached them when they were older; despite that they memorized.

Concerning the Calls to Boycott #Hajj: Diverting People from the Path of Allah
Shaykh, al-'Allamah Muhammad Ibn 'Abdullah as-Subayyil (d.1434H) - رحمه الله - said,
"Those who divert people from the path of Allah, obedience to Him and from obeying His commands are from the category of those who are keys to evil and locks to good.
You will find that when the Hajj (pilgrimage) season begins, they spread their propaganda against Hajj to the Sacred House of Allah as if they are being paid for this propaganda which is propaganda against goodness, against this act of worship that He has ordered and His Messenger (ﷺ) has encouraged."

Al-Hafidh Ibn Kathir (d.774H) - رحمه الله - said,
"The Arabic language is the most eloquent, clearest and most comprehensive of languages and the most capable in conveying the meanings that dwell in the souls. Due to this, the noblest of Books was sent down in the noblest of languages upon the noblest of Messengers, delivered by the noblest of Angels. That took place in the noblest of places in the earth and its revelation began in the noblest month of the year, which is Ramadan, so it achieved perfection in every aspect."
