Mawlana Abdol Hamid during the Friday prayer ceremony in Zahedan:
🕌 Allow Dr. Pezeshkian to fulfill his promises

Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid, today (August 9, 2024) during the Sunni Friday prayer ceremony in Zahedan, referring to the impact of Dr. Pezeshkian's slogans and promises on the people's participation in the recent presidential election, considered the fulfillment of Pezeshkian's promises beneficial for the country and emphasized that he should be given free rein to fulfill these promises.

🔹The people's protest movement in Bangladesh was against "discrimination" and "tyranny"/ Future leaders of Bangladesh should not be despotic and should act for the people
According to the official website of Sunni Friday Imam of Zahedan, Mawlana Abdol Hamid at the beginning of his speech referred to the recent events in Bangladesh and said: Last week an instructive event occurred in Bangladesh. In Bangladesh, one of the women managed to gain the support and approval of the people with good slogans and took power. She acted well for a few years, such that there was freedom in the country and the situation somewhat improved, but over time the rule in this country moved towards tyranny and dictatorship, discrimination expanded, freedoms were restricted, and harsh actions were taken against writers and intellectuals, and many scholars and religious people were imprisoned and many were executed. Those who held power forgot their previous slogans and claimed ownership of the country.
He added: Protest movements took place in Bangladesh and the Prime Minister fled, and the people's uprising in Bangladesh bore fruit. We hope the people of Bangladesh have a good and bright future and that those who take power from now on will not be despotic and will act in a people-oriented manner

🔹 The fate of the government in Bangladesh should be a lesson for other governments
The Friday Imam of Zahedan said: Successful governments in the world are those that are popular, stand by the people, think about the people's interests, give them freedom, allow criticism, and freedom of speech and writing, and the officials are ready to accept criticism; such governments can endure.
He emphasized: The fate of the government in Bangladesh should be a lesson for other governments in the world to be popular and to remain committed to the slogans they give about freedom, justice, and the rights of the people until the end.

🔹The Iranian nation is facing an "economic crisis" and a "discrimination crisis"

Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid in another part of his speech during the Friday prayer ceremony in Zahedan said: The Iranian nation has recently endured many sufferings. Our people are facing various crises, especially the economic crisis and the crisis of discrimination and inequality. In recent years, a significant gap has developed between the people and the government and state, until the recent presidential election was held and the Iranian nation accepted Mr. Pezeshkian's slogans, which focused more on the wounds, demands, and problems of the people, and came to the scene again, calling for the elimination of discrimination, the implementation of justice, and the provision of freedoms.
He added: Dr. Pezeshkian has now sworn in as president. Of course, Mr. Pezeshkian has not yet formed his cabinet, and the management of the country is still practically in the hands of the remnants of the previous government, but our recommendation is that Mr. Pezeshkian remain steadfast on his electoral slogans and promises, which the Iranian people accepted as their last hope, and implement those promises.

🔹Economic Problems Have Really Exhausted People
Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid further pointed out the economic and livelihood problems in Iran, and said: “Economic problems have really exhausted people. The national currency has lost its value. There was a day when a part of needs and expenses could be met with one million Tomans in the country, but today we have reached a situation where if an Iranian has ten million Tomans in his pocket and goes to the market, he does not know where to spend it; because he cannot afford even a small part of his needs.”
He made it clear: “Solving the country's economic problems requires seriousness, long-sighted planning and political changes at home and abroad so that the credibility of the Iranian currency will return, the economic situation will improve, the sanctions will be reduced and the people will come out of this crisis.”

🔹Sunnis should be Recognized in the Country
In the continuation of his speech, Friday Imam of Zahedan said: “Another important demand is that Sunnis should be recognized in the country. Also, they should be free to worship Allah without any obstacle, and the police and security forces should not persecute them for offering the prayers, prayer houses and worship. If the police and security forces perform a duty, it should be in line with freedom. Sunnis should have freedom in the field of education as well. The law has given this freedom. However, there are some disputable clauses in the constitution which should be changed and modified; but this constitution is also violated.”
“One of the biggest problems in our country is that the law is not implemented and anyone who has power, acts according to his power. Sometimes even a common soldier and agent imagines that he is the system; while he is not the system; he is an ordinary person who must fulfill his duty as an officer and soldier of the system,” he added more.
Mawlana Abdol Hamid further emphasized: “We hope that these wishes and demands of the Sunni community will be realized during the fourteenth government and that a Sunni will feel safe and have no fear anywhere in the country when he offers prays or teaches the Holy Quran and religious issues.”

🔹Government of Pakistan should Listen to the Protestors in the Gwadar Sit-in and Address their Demands
In another part of his speech, the outstanding Iranian Baloch scholar reacted to the recent events in Balochistan province of Pakistan, and said: “Pakistan is a neighboring and friendly country, and the nations of these two countries have long-standing mutual interests and good relations with each other. Recently, at the invitation of some lion women, a large protest rally and sit-in has been held in Gwadar city of Balochistan.”
He pointed out that the protesters have demands such as the fact that a large number of their family members have disappeared and their wives and children are worried and disturbed. The families of the missing persons want to know the fate of their missing beloveds, and they want the government to free them from this uncertainty. Of course, they also have some other demands.”
The president of Darululoom Zahedan said: “It is the duty of all countries and governments not to suppress peaceful protest gatherings, but to sit with the protestors and listen to them. If they have reasonable and rightful demands, follow up them.”
“Every system and government has the duty to take care of its people; establish security, build infrastructures and provide people with the opportunity to get education and knowledge and make a living,” he added more.
Mawlana Abdol Hamid stated: "In the case of Balochistan province, our advice to both sides is to sit down together and solve their issues through dialogue and understanding. We also ask the officials of Pakistan to listen to the people of Balochistan and those who gathered in Gwadar, and pay attention to their demands and not allow peaceful gatherings and protests to be suppressed. Paying attention to people's wishes helps everyone's safety.”

🔹House of the Unjust People is ruined
The Friday Imam of Sunnis in Zahedan warned: “Mr. Netanyahu! If you haven't seen it, we have seen how an oppressor's house is destroyed and there is no trace or name left of the oppressor. I believe that in the case of the current president of the United States, who was president for four years and expected to be the president for another four years, and his supporters all had the same idea, the blood of the oppressed Palestinians and the unnecessary support and destructive and dangerous weapons he gave to Israel caused his government not to continue.”
"Israel's war weapons and fund are provided by other powers and it has the most modern weapons in the Middle East. If Israel is fighting against Hamas, it can come up with a justification for itself, and maybe some people will accept this justification, but there is no any justification for the massacre of women, children and the defenseless people of Palestine,” he clarified.
He emphasized: “My speech is not biased. This is a wrong way. Americans should not displease God. A person who causes bloodshed and corruption on the earth and does not respect human rights, whoever supports him, undoubtedly s/he will suffer. It is the right of the world to stop the extremist government of Israel.”
Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid said: “Netanyahu is well aware that if he declares a ceasefire [in Gaza], his government will be ousted; because he has to answer why he could not ensure Israel's security. The important duty of the government is to provide security, and he knows where the problem is. That's why he doesn't want a ceasefire.”
“The best way is to agree to an immediate ceasefire and a reasonable and fair solution that respects due rights of all. He says Jerusalem cannot be divided is his extreme opinion. All experts and unbiased people believe that Jerusalem belongs to the Palestinian people and all should obtain their rights. A fair and reasonable reconciliation is the salvation of Israel and all the inhabitants of that land. Sometimes I regret that either there is no any wise person in the regime of Israel or the wise are marginalized,” he added more.

🔹Cruelty and Injustice are not allowed for any Nation
The Friday Imam of Zahedan further stated: "If Muslims commit oppression against Jews and Christians, they will be condemned."
“Cruelty and injustice are not allowed for any nation. What Israel is doing, blackens the history of Israelis. Many Jews held placards and protested as Mr. Netanyahu was talking in the US. A large part of the Jews and many people of Israel are against the war, but they do not listen to their wise and logical words who demand end of war and bloodshed,” he added more.
Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid said: “We believe that whoever supports a tyrant, his nose will fall to the ground and he will fail in his governance. An example of this is the president of the United States who, despite the services he has rendered to his country, faced people's backsliding and left the stage on the pretext of old age. This is a sign that no person in the world is far from the sight of Allah. These are history and lessons, and everyone should think about it.”

Mawlana Abdol Hamid in the Friday sermon:
🕌Stop Execution of Political Prisoners, Especially Women

Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid, the imam of Sunnis of Zahedan, in his Friday prayer speech on July 26, 2024 called for a halt to the execution of political prisoners, especially women.
According to the website of the office of Imam of Sunnis of Zahedan, Mawlana Abdol Hamid advised in this regard: “The arrest of male and female political activists in the country has increased, and some have been sentenced to death. I say compassionately, stop the death sentence. Execution is harmful for the country and for those who are in charge. Stop execution, especially the execution of women. Let political activists do their work. Do not put them in the corner of the prison and try to give in to the demands and expectations of the dear people of Iran.”

🔹"Discrimination" is the Work of Extremists and Unfair People
Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid referring to the inauguration and swearing-in ceremony next week, and introduction of the new government cabinet to the parliament, said: “In view of the words of Mr. Pezeshkian, who spoke about the rights of women and the rights of ethnic groups and religious communities, and raised the pains of the Iranian nation, people hoped that the authorities have come to the conclusion that there should not be discrimination and inequality after 46 years. Discrimination is the work of extremists and unfair people.”
“It is fair that the discrimination of 46 years should end and the people of Iran should hope that the smell of justice and fairness will come. It is appropriate that women and ethnic and religious communities should be present in the new cabinet. The most important authority and power for a country is national unity and cohesion. This is achieved by fairness and equality. We hope that these events will take place,” he said.
Mawlana Abdol Hamid further said: “The armed forces and other power centers in the Islamic Republic must accept the merits of women, ethnic and religious communities, and this will achieve national solidarity. National unity can ensure national security and eliminate internal and external threats”.

🔹Injustice and Discrimination are Notorious

He clarified: “Justice has both fame and financial fruits, but injustice and discrimination bring infamousness. Our recommendation is to engage competent and qualified people in the managements. Weak and incapable people pretend to be religious and loyal; these are businessmen. Select the capable persons.”

🔹"Embezzlement and Corruption" is the Result of [Current] Selections
Emphasizing on the "inefficiency of the system of selecting managers in the country", the most outstanding Iranian Sunni scholar said: “Those who select [official directors, managers, officers and employees], should note that their past selections did not work and that the country is so drowned in embezzlement and corruption; it is the result of the selection of these boards. Widen the circle and don't be deceived by those who are ahead in the ceremonies. See who has a conscience and has remained clear. It is the national right of the people that worthy and capable people come to work, not brokers who give bribes. We all know what is happening in the country. We are not saying that everyone is like this, but many people come through relationships and unsafe ways; they get posts, and then become a source of misery for the nation.”

Mawlana Abdol Hamid in the meeting of the presidents of Sunni religious schools in Sistan-Balochistan:
🔸"Independence and Empathy of Ulama" is a Source of Honor in the Eyes of People

Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid, on Thursday (July 25, 2024), during a speech at the meeting of the presidents and rectors of Sunni religious schools in Sistan and Balochistan in Zahedan, expressed his satisfaction with the "unity and harmony among Ulama of the province", and said: “The empathy, harmony and unity that exist among the scholars of the province please the Almighty and it is a source of honor and pride in the eyes of people.”
He emphasized the necessity of "maintaining the independence of the scholars and Ulama", and noted: “We believe in interaction, tolerance and unity and we are against schism, but maintaining the independence of the scholars along with interaction and tolerance is also very vital and important. We must move on the right path. This has been the method of the righteous scholars throughout history, who remained adamant on the way of the truth.”
The chairman of the Coordination Council of Sunni Seminaries of Sistan and Baluchistan further added: “Alhamdulillah, our scholars and people have been patient in the recent circumstances and events, and passed their test; there was a lot of good in this patience. The Qur'anic verses show that there is nothing higher than "patience" that Allah Almighty has advised the prophets to do. Allah Almighty is with the patient and endows the best to them.”

We have always Emphasized on "Eliminating Discrimination" and "Implementing Justice"
Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid considered the incidents of the bloody Fridays of Zahedan and Khash in 2022 as "obvious oppression" and "a result of discrimination", and said: “The incidents which took place in Zahedan and Khash had no justification and were a clear suppression. These events were the effects of discrimination, and we have always emphasized on elimination of discriminations, and respecting citizenship rights; because we believe that if discriminations are removed, other issues and problems will be solved.”
He further noted: “We have said repeatedly that national issues that belong to the entire Iranian nation are our priority, while the ethnic and religious issues are our second priority. The problems of the Iranian nation can be solved by implementing justice and securing freedoms.”
“Our wish was and is that the rightful wishes of the entire Iranian nation, including the wishes of the ethnic and religious communities that should be taken into account and the freedoms of sects should be recognized. Our demands were reasonable and within the framework of Islam, the country's constitution and international laws,” the prominent Iranian Sunni scholar underlined.

Sunni Community should have an Independent “Sunni Endowment”
The Friday imam of Zahedan called for the "independence of Sunni endowments", and said: "In Iraq, the UAE and many other countries, the endowment of each sect is independent and there is no interfere in the religious affairs of others."
“One of the wishes of the Sunni community [of Iran] is that they should enjoy an independent Sunni endowment; the government should monitor, but not interfere in the religious affairs of Sunnis and other sects.”
At the end of his speech, the head of the Coordination Council of Sunni Seminaries of Sistan and Balochistan said: "The best dress for scholars is the clothes of piety. All the words and actions of Ulama should be for the pleasure of Allah. They should have a relationship with the society and closely observe the people's situation and be sympathetic to the people's faith and world.”

🔹Everyone Needs the Qur’an
Mawlana Abdol Hamid noted: “We all need the Qur’an to come in our lives. Therefore, revive the Qur’an in your life. Reciting the Qur'an is a reward, looking at it is a source of light for the eyes, and memorizing the Qur'an brings light to the heart. Faculty and university professors also do need the Qur’an; everyone should learn the Qur’an and follow it. When a person knows the meaning and message of the Qur'an and recites it, s/he should be humble before God and cry.”

🔹The Ruler must be “Shadow of God's Mercy on the People" and Spread "Justice" in the Society
Sheikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid, in another part of his speech during the Friday prayer ceremony of Sunnis in Zahedan, expressed the main purpose and philosophy of "government and governing" of humans in the world, and said: “Allah Almighty has given some human beings government and power so that these people serve and take care of security, economy and other human affairs.”
He added: “Today, there are different government systems in the world. The main motivation and goal of all these government systems; the goal and main motivation of these systems should be to solve the problems of the people. If they deviate from this goal and to keep a distance and seek to collect material interests, this is against the will of God. The will of Allah Almighty is that the rulers and all those who have high and low positions and managements should serve the people. Serving people is the greatest worship and is very valuable before Allah.”
The Friday Imam added: “In the past and during the era when the monarchy system existed in the Islamic world, the ruler was referred and titled "God's shadow on the earth". Just as the "shadow" is cold and protects and shelters people from the intense heat, the ruler must be the cold shadow of God's mercy on people, and have mercy and compassion on people.”

🔹The Ruler has the Duty to see all Parts of the Society and Provide the Basis of "Security" and "Livelihood" for everyone
He urged: “The ruler must see the entire territory of his government and take care of everyone. If a person dies in the territory of a government due to hunger or lack of health and treatment, or lack of clean water, the ruler is responsible for these events and will be judged in the divine court on the Day of Judgment. The ruler has the duty to take care of the needs and problems of all members of the society. It is narrated from Sayyidana Omar, may God be pleased with him, that he said: If a dog dies of hunger and thirst in a corner of my caliphate, Allah will question Omar on the Day of Resurrection.”
“The ruler has the duty to see all sections of the society, including men and women, ethnicities and sects, and to provide security and livelihood for everyone and not to allow there to be any difference among capable women, ethnic communities, religions and sects. This is justice; "justice" means putting everything in its proper place, and if that thing is not put in its proper place, it is "oppression". Anything that violates "right" is "oppression," he said.

🔹The Post is a "Responsibility" and "Divine Test"

Mawlana Abdol Hamid said more: “A ruler should be just and act in such a way that criminals, murderers, bandits and bribe takers fear him. The ruler must fight corruption, bribery and abuse; even if his own child is a criminal and a bribe taker. If an officer commits a wrong and injustice against a member of the society, and even slaps or insults someone, the ruler should impeach that officer so that no officer dares to violate the law.”
He considered the post and position to be a "responsibility" and a "divine test" and said: “There are many people who express happiness when they get a position and spend a lot of money to reach power; while this position and post is a "responsibility" that a person should be accountable to God and people for inadequacies and injustices. Position, status and power is a test from God that how a person fulfills his responsibility and manages people's affairs.”

🔹All religions should have the freedom to perform their ceremonies and tolerate each other
Mawlana Abdol Hamid continued his speech by saying: "My advice to all people in all countries is that Shi'a brothers should feel safe to perform their religious ceremonies. All religions should have the freedom to perform their ceremonies and tolerate each other. We should also do our best to provide a safe environment."

🔹Pezeshkian Should Appoint Competent Individuals from Ethnicities, Religions, and Women to the Cabinet
In conclusion, Shaikh ul Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid offered specific recommendations to the newly elected president, he stated: "My recommendation to Dr. Pezeshkian is to appoint competent individuals from ethnicities, religions, and women to the cabinet." He stressed the importance of meritocracy: "He should strive to place deserving individuals, not those appointed through favoritism, in all ministries."
Finally, he expressed a hopeful sentiment, mentioning: "We hope he fulfills the promises he made during the election campaign."

🔹Imam Hussain rose up for "the establishment of truth" and "the implementation of justice"
Shaikhul Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid in the first part of his speech at the Zahidan Friday prayers, referring to the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (PBUH) in Karbala, described this event as one of the "important" and "bitter" historical events, and emphasized the need to examine Imam Hussain's (PBUH) uprising from an angle that is "instructive" and "a lesson" for the people.

🔹There was "justice" and "freedom" in the era of the Prophet and the Rashidun Caliphs, and there was no "despotism" and "autocracy"
According to the website of the Office of the Friday Imam of Zahidan, Shaikhul Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid, after reciting verses 155-157 of the Holy Quran "Baqarah", said: Allah Almighty brought a great and comprehensive light and illumination to the Arabian Peninsula and the land of the Hijaz with the mission of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). The sun of the religion of Islam rose in the world, and true faith, good morals, action, justice and freedom appeared in the world. In the era of the Prophet, which is the best era and a model for all humanity, there was no weakness.
He continued: After this era, the era of the Rashidun Caliphate and the successors of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) came. This era was also based on the method of the Prophet; it was an era of justice and freedom, the government was popular in this era, the caliphs lived like ordinary people and were among the people and thought about the people. In that era, there was no room for arrogance, pride, autocracy, despotism and egotism, the ruler was humble and modest.
Mawlana Abdol Hamid added: In the era of the Rashidun Caliphs, "God" was in the lives of the people. Whoever saw the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and the Rashidun Caliphs would remember God and the greatness of God would descend upon him. The great powers surrendered to this justice, fairness and God-seeking, and the world opened its mouth and praised this justice, freedom and valuable life.

Shaikh ul Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid:
🕌 The People's Support Empowers Any Government

In his Friday sermon on July 12, 2024, Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid offered recommendations to Masoud Pezeshkian, the President-elect. He advised prioritizing "justice," "freedom," and "the economy" in his programs and appointing "competent individuals" to positions of authority.
Mawlana Abdol Hamid also spoke during the Friday prayers in Zahedan, referring to the days of martyrdom of Imam Hussein (may Allah be pleased with him). He said, "My advice to all people in all countries is that Shia brothers should feel secure in carrying out their religious ceremonies. All denominations should have the freedom to perform their ceremonies and tolerate each other. We too must provide a safe environment as much as we can."

🔹Pezeshkian Gave Hope and Brought People Back to the Scene
According to the official website of the Office of the Friday Prayer Leader of the Sunni People of Zahedan, Shaikh ul Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid stated regarding the presidential election: "We had the presidential election two Fridays ago. Everyone knows, and it is no secret, that despair had gripped the entire country. Various pressures in people's lives had worried them, and the people were despondent. That's why voter turnout was very low in the first week of the election. But in the second week, when there was competition between the two presidential candidates, the statements made by Mr. Dr. Pezeshkian in the debates gave hope to the people and brought the disillusioned people back to the scene. This is because Dr. Pezeshkian expressed a large part of the common people's grievances, from women to ethnicities, religions, and various groups."

🔹50% of the People Didn't Believe the Promises
The Friday prayer leader of Zahedan's Sunni community added: "People became hopeful that perhaps Dr. Pezeshkian could be a remedy for these problems, and in the second week, people came to the scene. The vote cast for Mr. Doctor was truly not the vote of specific parties and groups, but the vote of the general public. Yet, another 50% of the people did not believe these speeches and said that the president makes these speeches, but they might not allow him to fulfill his promises."
He further stated: "We all know that recently there have been a few fundamental and central problems. The first issue is justice, and the second issue is freedom, and the third issue is the economy and livelihood."

🔹Selected Managers are Weak and from a Specific Group
Shaikh ul Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid asserted: "People feel that competent and capable people are not being employed, and the managers who pass through the tough selection filters are weak managers from a specific group. Ethnicities and religions are also very aggrieved that no one from among their competent people has been employed in the past 45 years."

🔹Perhaps Pezeshkian Can Address the Needs of Ethnicities and Religions
He added: "In all periods, Sunnis have made efforts and voted for both reformists and conservatives, but they have not reached any results. These statements by Mr. Pezeshkian gave people hope that a window has opened, and perhaps he can address the needs of ethnicities and religions and employ their competent people."

Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid:
🕌Officials Should Remove Barriers and Obstacles to Communication with the People

In his Friday sermon on July 5, 2024, Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid, referring to the governance and just behavior of the Holy Prophet of Islam, the Rashidun caliphs, the Ahlul Bayt and the elders, said: "The guardianship of the Holy Prophet and Imam Ali is not conceivable without justice and fairness."
According to the website of the Zahedan Sunni Friday Imam’s Office, Mawlana Abdol Hamid said: "When Imam Ali sent the governors, he advised them on how to treat the people. Hazrat Umar ordered the removal of the partition wall that the governor of Egypt had built, and there should be no obstacle to the people meeting and listening to their words."
Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid added: "A group had surrounded the former Shah of Iran, and the people did not have access to the Shah and could not talk to him face to face. And when the 1979 revolution was about to happen, the Shah said, 'I have heard the message of the people's revolution.'"
He also referred to the experience of the recent municipal elections in Turkey, saying: "In these elections, in which the ruling Justice and Development Party was defeated and the opposition party won, Erdogan came to the fore and addressed the Turkish people, saying that he had received their message."

🔹Last Week's Elections Had a Great Message
The Friday Imam of Zahedan said: "The elections last week had a great message for the officials of our country and showed that the officials of the system were unaware of the existing realities in society and the great dissatisfaction of the Iranian society, the displacement of a large number of Iranians in other countries, and the poverty, poverty and devaluation of the national currency. And their entourage and relatives have not reported the realities and have prevented the compassionate, well-wishers and critics from sharing the issues with the officials."

🔹Non-Participation of People in Elections is a Sign of Dissatisfaction
Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid said: "God knows how the elections will be this week, but last week's elections showed that only 40 percent of eligible voters, according to a report by the Ministry of Interior, participated in the elections, and other observers have put the number of participants lower. He added: "When 60 percent of the society do not participate in the elections, it means their dissatisfaction, not that they had work and did not have time. This non-attendance is a sign of dissatisfaction."

🔹Officials Should Hear the People's Words Directly
The Friday Imam of Zahedan said: "We said out of compassion and goodwill, listen to the people's words, and if the people's words were heard, 60 percent of the people would not have distanced themselves from the ballot box. We hope that the officials have received the message and will reconsider their performance and sit down with the people directly and without intermediaries and listen to the people's words."
He continued: "A few years ago, the Leader said that he wanted to hear the people's words himself, and we said that this was a very good move, but later we found out that people were brought from the regions to meet him who did not say the people's words, and if they said anything, they said it on the sidelines, and the basic and important demands of the Iranian people did not reach the officials."
He added: "According to the Leader's words, it seems that he was unaware of the situation, and therefore many of those who should have conveyed the issues to him should be questioned as to why they did not reflect the realities."

Mawlana Abdol Hamid's congratulatory Message to Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian

Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid congratulated Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian on his victory in the 14th round of the presidential election in a message to him and the noble people of Iran. In this message, Mawlana Abdol Hamid called "fundamental change and transformation" the most important message of the "increased participation in the second round of elections" and addressed the president of the 14th government, saying: "With the start of the government's work, at the first opportunity, the Iranian people will expect you to abide by the covenant and commitment you have made with the nation."
According to the website of the Zahedan Sunni Friday Imam's Office, the text of Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid's message is as follows:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Honorable Dr. Pezeshkian; President-elect of the Noble People of Iran

Peace and blessings of Allah be upon you
I congratulate you on your victory in the 14th round of the presidential election to you and especially to the proud people of Iran. Of course, I will postpone the final congratulations to Your Excellency for your success in fulfilling your goals and promises - which the Iranian nation came to the scene considering those promises.

Honorable Dr. Pezeshkian!

As you are aware, we experienced the most different elections in the history of the Islamic Republic of Iran. From the perspective of all experts and politicians, the non-participation of more than 60% of eligible voters in the first round of elections was a clear protest against the status quo and was a clear message of public disgust and the gap between the nation and the implementation of unbalanced and unbalanced policies.

Honorable Mr. Pezeshkian!
Despite the mobilization of all media and the presentation of unrealistic statistical claims about the country's progress and the improvement of people's lives, as well as the extensive efforts of power layers in all institutions to accompany the nation and participate in the elections, the aware Iranian nation presented its message on June 28th in the most eloquent possible way by staying at home. Of course, it is a matter of thought and satisfaction that all informed people, especially the majority of rulers and officials of the system, have received this message well.
According to informed social activists and based on field research, the wave that was created in the second stage and caused an increase in the number of voters was another "protest" message; indicating that the Iranian people want "fundamental change and transformation".

Honorable President!
You consciously and wisely raised the demands of the dear people of Iran in the debates, especially in the second stage; you spoke of discrimination, injustice, non-employment of qualified people and brain drain and elite flight, and emphasized the implementation of justice and the realization of freedom and the role of ethnicities, religions and sects. The wise and informed people of Iran observed your new approach and presented their second message of "creating change" by electing you.
The intelligent people of Iran, in fact, with the "tactic of retreat" in the first stage and "presence in the field" in the second stage, gave their message and scored the victory goal in a way that stunned the world.
It is worth noting that; Since you have stated that you do not belong to any party, the votes you received are the votes of the masses of the Iranian people.

Mawlana Abdol Hamid further stated: "Although the present world has made progress in the field of industry, technology, and modern sciences, it has not only not made progress in building the human being, who is the best and most honored creation, but has also fallen back. The Quran has a program for this dimension and builds the human being and makes him a source of mercy for the world. Without a doubt, anyone who receives the constructive messages of the Quran and puts himself at the disposal of the Quran will be a source of mercy for the world in terms of morality, faith, and practice."
He added: "It is a pity that today many people run away from the Quran before reading it, and many run away from the teachings of the Prophet (peace be upon him) before studying his life and character. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the Muslims did not only conquer cities, but also conquered hearts with their morals and true faith. When the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) conquered Mecca, he showed mercy to all, not allowing a single person to suffer harm, but rather forgave and pardoned everyone."

🔹Compassion for the Captive, the Poor, and the Orphan Is a Beautiful Teaching of Islam
In the continuation of his Friday sermon, Mawlana Abdol Hamid highlighted some of the beautiful teachings of Islam and the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), stating: "Among the teachings of Islam and the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is to show compassion to the poor, the orphan, the captive, and the prisoner, and to share with them the food you eat yourself. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught the best treatment and education for prisoners. The early companions would feed the prisoners and eat what was left, give the prisoners their best clothes, and treat them like guests. No one would insult the prisoners; this is the religion of Islam, its ethics, and its Muslimness. Unfortunately, however, in today's world, many mistreat prisoners, which is contrary to the teachings of Islam."
He further elaborated: "Today, some Godless people take people hostage for ransom, torture them, and threaten their families and relatives. What kind of Muslimness is this?! Taking hostages is not right, even for a debt. The creditor should go to court, to an elder, or to a cleric to collect his debt. And if that still doesn't work, he should at least take the debtor's property, not take people hostage."
The Friday prayer leader of Zahedan emphasized: "Our society degenerated the day it distanced itself from the Quran and the teachings of the Prophet of Mercy. In the early days of Islam, the great, conquering, and civilized nations of the world were influenced by the morals and programs of the Muslims, and upon seeing the faith, humanity, and compassion of the Muslims, they embraced Islam. All of this goes back to the life-giving teachings of the Quran. With the advent of the Quran, the doors of God's mercy were opened, the world was transformed, and people felt that faith, morality, religion, honesty, justice, and trustworthiness had been reborn. This was when there were followers of the Quran and the character and actions of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in the world. Therefore, the solution to the problems of all people is to return to the Quran, the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad, and true Islam."

Mawlana Abdol Hamid:
🕌The Israeli War In Gaza Is Spreading "Terrorism" And Disrupting "Global Security"

Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid, in his Friday prayer sermon (June 28, 2024), criticized the ongoing Israeli atrocities in Gaza and warned of the consequences of continuing this war. He stated: This war is disrupting global security and strengthening and spreading terrorism in the world.

🔹The Sides of the Gaza War Should Release Each Other's Prisoners and Agree to a Ceasefire
According to the website of the Zahedan Sunni Friday Imam’s Office, Mawlana Abdol Hamid said in a part of his speech at this ceremony: These days in Palestine, the situation is very difficult and the scenes are very heartbreaking. These scenes are unbearable for anyone who has a sense of humanity.
He added: "Unfortunately, the extremist leaders of Israel have no qualms about killing people, destroying houses, and massacring women and children, and we even feel that they enjoy this work, while if someone has humanity, killing animals and destroying natural resources is shocking, let alone That someone destroys the living environment of humans. Despite the passage of more than seventy years, Israel still makes excuses to return Palestinian lands to the Palestinians and wants to continue massacres.
The Friday prayer leader of Zahedan stated: “The continuation of this trend is not in the interests of the Jews, the Muslims, or the world. War, destruction, and killing from any side is a waste, and the world must stop war, cruelty, and human casualties. Giving weapons to Israel to kill Palestinians or to anyone who kills people is harmful to everyone.”
He added : “the two sides must release each other's prisoners and agree to a ceasefire. Israel must agree to a just settlement and the return of occupied territories to the Palestinians; this could be a guarantee of peace and global security.”
Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid warned of the dangerous consequences of the continued Gaza war, saying: “if the war continues in this way, it could escalate into World War III. He said that the war is undermining global security and strengthening and spreading terrorism in the world.”
He emphasized: “the way to combat terrorism is to return to justice”. He stated: “ justice and a fair and reasonable settlement can dry up the roots of terrorism. Americans, Europeans, and all governments of the world should use their influence to control Israel. Israel pays no attention to UN Security Council resolutions and statements, international forums, and warnings and reminders from governments. The oppressor must be stopped. Whoever commits injustice or supports the oppressor will fall into the wrath and punishment of God and the anger of the nations.”

🔹Praise be to God, the 'Awakening' Movement Has Reached Our Nation, and the People are Recognizing Their Responsibilities
🔹We Must Raise Our Capacity and Respect Everyone's Freedom
In another part of his Friday sermon in Zahedan, Mawlana Abdol Hamid said: "Praise be to God, today in the world and especially in our own country, Iran, an 'Awakening' Movement has come, and all people, men and women, know and recognize their duties and act accordingly."
He further noted: "What is important is that we raise our capacity and respect the rights and freedoms of all people. Everyone wants to reach happiness in their own way. There must be capacity and tolerance, and people must have their own freedom. In developed countries, there are different views and perceptions, and these differences are tolerated. Islam has taught us magnanimity, tolerance, and foresight."

Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid on Eid al-Adha:
🕌 "How Can a Government Be Islamic Without Justice and Equity?"

On the auspicious occasion of Eid al-Adha, during his sermons delivered today, Monday ( June 17, 2024), Shaikh ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid issued a call to all people, urging them towards justice.
In his address, Mawlana Abdol Hamid specifically stated: "The Qur'an addresses both the people and the governments regarding justice. Justice is emphasized in all cultures, civilizations, and divinely revealed religions. It is an act pleasing to Allah (God). If justice is separated from religion, then nothing of religion remains. All nations and governments must make justice the foundation of their conduct and put it into practice."
The Eid al-Adha prayer leader of the Sunni Muslims of Zahedan added: "It is incumbent upon governments to establish equality among their people. If justice and fairness are absent in a religious and Islamic government, how can such a government be Islamic?"
Emphasizing the paramount importance of justice, Shaikh ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid stated: "Justice and fairness are fundamental principles that must be upheld in governance. Equality should prevail among all ethnicities and religions, women and men, and all social classes, factions, and parties."

🔹Discrimination and Inequality are Manifestations of Injustice
Shaikh ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid listed discrimination and inequality as examples of injustice, stating: "Those who once spoke of justice and criticized others, why have they forgotten it now that they hold positions of power?"
The Imam of the Sunni Muslims of Zahedan asserted: "Even in non-Islamic countries, humanity dictates that justice be established. Islam, humanity, and reason all command us to uphold justice and fairness. International laws also unanimously affirm the necessity of justice for all individuals and nations. Individual, religious, political, and social freedoms, along with freedom of expression and the press, are Islamic commandments, and everyone must adhere to them. Interfering in how people pray is not our duty. Our duty is to ensure freedom for all people. Vilifying and desecrating places of worship, respected figures, scholars, and those revered by the public is anti-Islamic. Unfortunately, today many Muslims engage in un-Islamic acts and label them as Islamic."

🔹Islam Is Not Merely Confined to Prayers, Fasting, and Hajj Pilgrimage
Addressing the prevalence of inappropriate behavior in the cyberspace, Shaikh ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid stated: "The digital space should not be a platform for vengeance, sarcasm, or slander. It is baffling that someone who believes in God and the hereafter would engage in such acts. Islam extends beyond mere prayer, fasting, and Hajj pilgrimage; it encompasses upholding the rights of humanity, animals, and even plants and the environment. These are our Islamic and human obligations."

🔹Torture and Coerced Confessions are Prohibited in Islam
Shaikh ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid unequivocally condemned torture and the extraction of confessions under duress from individuals involved in drug cases or political arrests. He emphasized the Islamic prohibition of such practices, stating: "There is no authorization in the Quran or Sunnah for obtaining forced confessions. Anyone who orders the torture of prisoners will be held accountable on the Day of Judgment. Islam mandates treating captives with kindness and preserving their dignity. Violating the rights of men and women is unconditionally forbidden. No authority can override God's prohibitions and sanction torture. No judge can issue a ruling authorizing torture to obtain confessions."
He emphasized the absence of such practices during the era of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his righteous successors, reiterating their impermissibility in Islam: "Torture has no precedent in the time of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) or the righteous caliphs, and it is religiously impermissible."

The Almighty God has designated "special temporal and spatial opportunities" for the spiritual growth of humanity
During the first part of his speech at the Zahedan Friday prayers (June 14, 2024), Shaikh ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid referred to the Grand Mosque [of Mecca], the Prophet's Mosque [in Medina], Mina, Muzdalifah, and Arafat, as well as the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah and the acts of worship observed during this period, including sacrifice (Qurbani), pilgrimage (Hajj), fasting, and the Takbirat al-Tashriq. He emphasized that the Almighty God has bestowed these special temporal and spatial opportunities upon humanity for their "spiritual growth."
According to the website of the Office of the Friday Prayer Leader of Sunni Muslims of Zahedan, Shaikh ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid stated: "The Almighty God has planned for the growth and progress of humanity. Faith, commandments, ethics, acts of worship, service to the people, and all the good things in religion are for the purpose of societal growth, progress, and attainment of purity. All of God's commandments and the entirety of religion are for the salvation of humanity and the benefit of all people. The conduct of the Prophets and of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) also offer an opportunity for all humanity to achieve success, salvation, and prosperity by following their example."
Mawlana Abdol Hamid further emphasized: "To guide humanity towards salvation, the Almighty God has bestowed upon them special opportunities and has accorded exceptional value to certain times and places, where acts of worship hold greater merit and reward. Among these revered places are the House of God (Baitullah-al-Haram), the Grand Mosque (Masjid al-Haram), the Holy Sanctuary of Mecca and Medina, the Prophet's Mosque (Masjid an-Nabawi), and the Holy Land (Bait al-Maqdis). Acts of worship performed in these sacred sites carry a special reward and merit that surpasses those performed in other locations."
Expanding on his point, the Preacher of Zahedan Friday Prayers stated: "The blessings associated with these sacred places lie in the effort one makes to reach them and worship God there. These centers have been inhabited by prophets and great figures. They are the land of revelation, sincerity, Divinity, worship, and servitude. In these places, the reward for each prayer is multiplied by 100,000 and 50,000. Therefore, every Muslim aspires to reach these holy places and worship God there. Even if one were to give away all their possessions to reach these sacred sites, it would be worthwhile."
Elaborating further, the Imam of Zahedan Friday Prayers stated: "While not all Muslims have the opportunity and means to physically reach these blessed places, the Almighty God has bestowed upon humanity the virtue of time, encompassing all individuals. Acts of worship performed during these special times also hold exceptional value."
Continuing his address, he elaborated on the significance of the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah and the acts of worship prescribed during this sacred period:

🔹We Strongly Condemn the Cowardly Assassination of Ismail Haniyeh/ the International Community should Decry Israel
Referring to the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, the most influential Iranian Sunni leader said: “The assassination and martyrdom of Dr. Ismail Haniyeh, head of the Hamas political office in Tehran, was a very bitter event. We strongly condemn this cowardly assassination.”
He added: “This assassination was very sad and heavy for us in two ways; first because Dr. Ismail Haniyeh was one of the leaders who had many followers in sensitive places like Palestine and Gaza. Instead of the leaders being assassinated and killed, their existence should be used to solve the Palestinian issue and other issues. Why are the world and the big Muslim and non-Muslim governments of the world unsuccessful and unable to solve the Palestine issue?! There should be a fair solution and the Palestinian people should have their own independent country.”
“A person like Martyr Haniyeh could play a role in solving the problem, and the world community could use his potential and others like him to solve the problem,” he added more.
Mawlana Abdol Hamid further said: “The second sad part in the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh is that he was a guest of our country and the Islamic Republic of Iran was the host. Why was the sanctity of the host not considered?! Assaulting the guest of a country is very disgusting and ugly. Attacking a guest and assassinating a guest is actually an assault on the host and an attack on the dignity and honor of the host.”
He clarified: “Israel did not consider all aspects in this case and acted only based on emotions and discomfort. Our request to the whole world is to decry Israel for the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh and bring the Israeli government to account and resolve the issue so that, God forbid, a situation does not arise in which the flames of war spread to the entire region and everyone burns in the flames of war. All countries and governments have responsibility and duty in this field. We all should think about humanity and human rights.”

🔹The Judiciary Organization of the Armed Forces should "Seriously" Follow up the Incident of Qaderabad, Khash

In the final part of his speech, Mawlana Abdol Hamid mentioned the recent incident in one of the villages of Khash city [in Iranian Balochistan], and said: “Last week, some military officers, I don't know exactly what organization they were from, stormed Qaderabad village near Khash and there was a shooting in which a woman was killed and two other young men were injured.”
While expressing his regret for this incident, he noted: “It is really unfortunate that a woman was killed and other innocent people were injured due to the shooting of soldiers who are responsible for providing security and defense of unarmed and defenseless people! All officers who serve should always keep in mind that they are responsible for protecting people's lives and property, and they should be benevolent and sympathetic to people and refrain from opening fire except in times of need.”
The Friday Imam of Zahedan further emphasized: “People expect the Judicial Organization of the Armed Forces to follow up these types of cases seriously so that such incidents do not take place in the future. An officer who violates the law must always be questioned and held accountable.”

Mawlana Abdol Hamid:
🕌"National Unity" Achieved by Selection of Proficient People of Ethnic & Religious Groups, and Women

Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid stated that the "government of national unity" will be achieved by employing and engaging proficient people of different ethnicities, sects and women in mega and regional administrations.
He was talking to tens of thousands worshipers in Zahedan, Iran on Friday 2nd August, 2024 where he considered "change and transformation", "fulfillment of demands" and "resolving problems of the entire nation" the most important goals of people's participation in the 14th presidential election.

🔹People Voted for Dr. Pezeshkian to See Change and Solution of Problems
According to the official website of the Friday Imam of Sunnis in Zahedan, Mawlana Abdol Hamid referred to the inauguration ceremony of the 14th president of Iran and said: “Dr. Pezeshkian expected the support of the Iranian nation and made promises to bring about change and transformation, and many of his promises were in line with the people's wishes and expectations, and these promises made people to take part in polling.”
He said: “Those who voted for Dr. Pezeshkian, in fact they voted for change and transformation and to fulfill their wishes and demands, and to solve the problems of the whole nation. They hoped that Dr. Pezeshkian would solve the problems by fulfilling his promises. The issues that have been highlighted by Mr. Pezeshkian yet have been in line with the same promises made during the election campaign.”

🔹Iran Does not Belong Only to One Class or Group; It Belongs to All Ethnicities, Sects, Women and Different Iranian Spectrums

The Friday Imam of Zahedan further noted: “All the people of Iran, including ethnic and religious communities, women, the young, and all spectrums are Iranians, and Iran is the home of these people and it belongs to this nation not anyone else. Some narrow-minded people think that Iran belongs to a certain group or religious sect, while Iran belongs to all people of Iran regardless of their faith and race.”
“Every country and government with whatever system it has is obliged to spread its umbrella over all people and treat everyone equally and not prefer some over others, but implement justice and engage the capable members of the whole nation in official posts”, he added more.

🔹In an Islamic Political System, there should not be any Fear of Discrimination
Mawlana Abdol Hamid said: “The people of Iran expect discrimination to be removed and justice to be implemented. In a country, especially a country with an Islamic system, there should be no fear and feeling of discrimination; because from the point of view of Islam, injustice and inequality are an unforgivable and very big sin.”
He further said: “One of the important and prominent demands of the Iranian nation is that the posts should be handed over to competent people based on merit, and fairness should be observed among all ethnicities, religious communities, women and men. Officials should be so alert and act in such a way that no feeling of discrimination is in the society. Discrimination has very dangerous and lasting effects.”

🔹Meritorious People of one Ethnicity and Sect should not be Preferred over another Sectarian and Ethnic Community

The Friday Imam of Zahedan said: “We hope that in the cabinet of the new government, they will consider both women and ethnicities and religious sects. "National unity" is achieved if there is equality among the meritorious people of the society in national and regional management, and one ethnic group and sect is not preferred over another ethnic group and sect, and the meritorious men are not preferred over meritorious women.”
While expressing his hope that Mr. Pezeshkian will be successful in fulfilling his promises, he said: “Fulfilling the wishes and expectations of the people and implementing justice, creating hope for life and solving concerns is a great success that can be achieved by a president and government.”

🔹Public Opinion in the World is against Israel
In another part of his speech, Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid reacted to the speech of the Prime Minister of Israel in the US Congress: “People can see what the Israeli army and government are doing in Gaza and the Palestinian territories. At first, they struck people in housing buildings, and told them to go to tents and open places, but now they bomb camps and tents as well. People see how terrible and pathetic the situation of the people of Palestine and the people of Gaza is. Nearly 40,000 people were massacred there; these were neither military nor paramilitary forces.”
He added: "Palestinians are human beings, and killing them in the way that Israel is doing is not permissible in any of the human and divine laws, and no government or nation has the right to ignore human rights and massacre people mercilessly and widely."
“Public opinion in the world is against Israel; except very few and sick people who think Israel has the right to massacre. Why is Israel unwilling to use international and correct ways? This is not a two-sided war, and the other side has no weapons, but Israel uses the most modern weapons in Gaza. Does a sane person accept this?” Mawlana Abdol Hamid questioned.
He further noted: “The Prime Minister of Israel tried to defend himself in the US Congress and get the support of the Congress. The awakened world and the intellectuals of the world did not accept his defense. There was no positive point in Mr. Netanyahu's words to prevent the unjust bloodshed of women and children.”

🔹Netanyahu's Words are Very Disappointing and Extremist

Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid described Netanyahu's words as "very disappointing and extremist", and said: “He said he will fight until victory; while shedding blood unjustly and killing mercilessly has no victory. Mr. Netanyahu should know that by killing the Palestinian people and the oppressed, whether they are Jews or Muslims or those who do not believe in God, no one will achieve victory, but the wrath of God Almighty is on the one who kills the oppressed people.”

🔹We Hope that the Demands and Cries of Iranians will be heard in the Government of Dr. Pezeshkian
Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid continued his speech, and stated: “There are many problems in our country. We hope that the new president can spread justice. If the government lasts for one day, but justice is implemented in it, it is better than a government that lasts for a hundred years, but without justice and fairness.”
He added: “We hope that the demands and cries of the Iranians, including men and women, ethnicities and religions, retirees, teachers, labors, and different strata of the nation, will be addressed in the new government of Dr. Pezeshkian, and qualified women, ethnicities and religions will be engaged and employed. Meritocracy should be considered and capable people of any particular ethnic group and sect should not have superiority over the capable people of other ethnicities and religious communities. No government in any part of the world has been able to run and continue with a specific group and faction ignoring other communities.”

🔹Companies and Factories must have a "Clinic"
In the final part of his speech, Friday Imam of Zahedan pointed out to the death of the administrative officer of This Cement Factory, in the last week, engineer Habibullah Hashemzahi, who suffered a heart attack at work and passed away before reaching any hospital. He said: “We offer our condolences to his family and relatives.”
He asked: “Shouldn't there be a clinic or an ambulance in a large cement factory or other similar companies where dozens of people work so that if someone suffers from any accident, can receive outpatient treatment there?! The Ministry of Health should oblige these companies to have a special room for outpatient treatments. They should take care of their workers’ health.”

Mawlana Abdol Hamid:
🕌The Noble Quran Gives “Capacity” to Human beings and Makes Society “Developed”

In his Friday sermon of July 19, 2024, Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid pointed out to the outward and inward effects of the Holy Qur'an in the personal and social spheres, and recommended and emphasized the necessity of "communication with the Qur'an" and "benefiting from the guidance and effects" of this divine book.

🔹The Quran is protected from any Kind of Distortion

According to the website of the Zahedan Sunni Friday Imam’s office, Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid recited the ninth verse of Surah Isra and stated: “The Quran is both a guide and a bearer of good news. The Qur'an guides mankind to the most correct path to happiness. The Qur'an gives good news to its believers and followers with a good and great reward, and makes us aware of the punishment to those who do not accept the Qur'an and refuse it.
"The Qur'an is protected from distortion and change, and it will remain protected until the Day of Judgment. All Muslims agree that the Qur'an is God's book and there is nothing more or less in it; unlike other divine books that are distorted. Now, each of the Torah and the Bible has several versions and the followers of each version do not accept the other version, but the great Quran has only one version and there is no difference in it. The differences in recitation and differences in dialects, but the meaning of all recitations is the same. The Qur'an was revealed in seven dialects to make it easy to read and understand the Qur'an. Millions of girls and boys memorize the Quran every year and millions of people recite it daily,” Mawlana Abdol Hamid said.

🔹The Great Quran Teaches "Tolerance", "Interaction" and "Peaceful life"
Friday Imam of Zahedan said: “At the beginning of Islam, when Muslims paid attention to the Qur’an, they were blessed by Allah’s blessings and they obtained a good life. Unfortunately, today mankind has distanced itself from the Qur'an and there is no the communication, love, attention and benefit that it should be. Men and women rarely recite the Quran, which is a sign of lack of attention towards the Quran.”
“The Qur'an gives human beings capacity, flourishes their talent, and makes them developed morally, religiously, and practically. With the Qur'an, a person can be open-minded. The Qur'an makes human actions righteous and good,” he added more.
Mawlana Abdol Hamid reminded: “The heavenly books, the lives of the prophets and the intellect are the important pillars of guidance; they are among the divine mercies and great blessings that God Almighty has provided for human beings. Reason says to follow the Qur'an which guides you in the best way.”

🔹Following the Qur'an and Hadith is a Source of Honor
He said: “The Qur’an is a guide. It is Allah's book. The verses of the Qur'an are not the words of the Prophet, but the words of God. Both the words and interpretations of the Qur'an are from the side, as well as the meanings of its verses. Practice on the biography and hadiths of the Prophet, which are practical explanations and interpretations of the Qur'an, next to the Qur'an and follow it. Seerah is the best role model for us. The Holy Prophet was a human being, but he is a high-ranking human being to whom revelation has been revealed. Almighty Allah has introduced him as a model for humans. His whole life is a model and a guide for us.”
Friday Imam of Zahedan continued: “Let's refer to the Qur'an and follow the correct words of His Holiness. In addition to the beautiful teachings of the Qur’an, we should also follow the example of his blessed life. Following the Qur'an and Hadith is a source of life, guidance and honor for us.”

🔹Yazid and the Yazidis committed "crimes" to "preserve their rule"
The Friday Imam of Zahedan continued: After the era of the Rashidun Caliphate, during the time of Mu'awiyah, differences arose among the Muslims. Imam Hassan (PBUH), in the interests of the Islamic world and the unity and cohesion of the Muslim Ummah, compromised with Mu'awiyah and handed over the government to him. After the death of Mu'awiyah, when Yazid ascended to power, the golden era of Islamic rule passed and the era of autocracy, despotism, oppression and heredity came. Yazid was afflicted with autocracy. Dissatisfaction among Muslims and Companions with Yazid's rule spread. Imam Hussain, Abdollah ibn Zubair and Abdollah ibn Umar, who were dissatisfied, did not pledge allegiance to Yazid.
He continued: Abdollah ibn Zubair formed a government in Mecca. The people of Iraq wrote to Imam Hussain, who was raised by the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Ali and Fatima (PBUH), that the situation in the Islamic world was very bad and it was time for him to come to the field and stand by the oppressed people. When Imam Hussain saw that Yazid was incorrigible and that all the achievements of the era of the Prophet and the Rashidun Caliphate were being lost, and if he did not help the Muslims, what would he answer to God? Therefore, he felt a sense of duty and mission and went to Iraq, which was one of the first countries to invite him.
He said: Yazid and the Yazidis preferred the world to the hereafter, and in order to preserve their rule, they committed crimes, and marched against Imam Hussain, and martyred Imam Hussain unjustly.

🔹Imam Hussain's uprising was "rightful" and a "model" for all humanity
Shaikhul Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid noted: Yazid's rule was a rule of oppression and injustice, and a rule of incompetent and incompetent rulers. The structure that had been established in the era of the Prophet and the Rashidun Caliphs was destroyed under Yazid's rule. This was hard for Imam Hussain and free and awakened people. When the rulers are incompetent and inefficient, and the ruler is oppressive, and there is no way to reform him, there is no choice but to stand firm and stand up for the interests of the people. Therefore, Imam Hussain preferred to be martyred but not to surrender to vile people. Imam Hussain (PBUH) preferred martyrdom to humiliation and captivity, and drank the cup of martyrdom for the sake of establishing truth, implementing justice, establishing fairness, and defending the right.
He added: The uprising of Imam Hussain (PBUH) was rightful and a model for all humanity. There is no disagreement among Muslims about the uprising of Imam Hussain (PBUH) and the Ahl al-Bayt, and everyone agrees that they were worthy, capable, and exemplary people.

🔹Learning the Quran and the biography of the greats in the face of bitter incidents is "patience"
🔸We should make the biography of the Rashidun Caliphs and the Ahlul Bayt the guiding principle of our lives

Mawlana Abdol Hamid continued: "During the anniversary of martyrdom of these great men, everyone is saddened and each person expresses his sadness and grief in his own way. The teachings of the Quran, biography, and the teachings of the pure and great religious figures in the face of such bitter incidents is "patience". Remembering the greats and the pure, and patience and perseverance are things that Islam, the Quran, hadiths, and the biography of the Prophet have taught us. Recalling the courage, selflessness, truth-seeking, and good qualities of these greats is a desirable and commendable matter."
He added: "The most important point is to follow the biography of the greats. Let us make the biography of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH), the Rashidun Caliphs, Hazrat Zahra, and Imam Hussain (PBUH) the guiding principle of our lives. Our obedience to those greats will please God and make their souls happy."

🔹Women Deserving of Their Status Have Not Been Placed
The Friday prayer leader of Zahedan's Sunni community spoke about the situation of women, saying: "We are sorry that we have not been able to place women in their rightful status. We expected them to accept whatever we said. Today's woman is not yesterday's woman. She has gained competence and ability and has gone to university and strived in scientific fields. Many women are experts, and in many matters, women offer the best solutions. Few deserving women have been employed as ministers and senior managers of the country."
He said: "The recent problems in the country also stem from the fact that women say, 'How can you see us for hijab but not see our talents?' Women also want to be placed in their rightful positions. All deserving Iranians have shone all over the world. Why shouldn't they build their own country? All deserving people from all ethnicities, religions, and the entire Iranian nation have been subjected to widespread and pervasive discrimination. Discrimination and inequality are not Islamic at all."

🔹Pezeshkian is the Best Opportunity for the Nation and the Government
Shaikh ul Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid stated: "The administration of Mr. Pezeshkian is the best opportunity for both the ruling body and the nation. The ruling body should give Mr. Pezeshkian a free hand so that he can both improve domestic policies and change the international view of us.
We must maintain good relations with developed countries while also defending our own rights and dignity in order to establish positive ties with the entire world and restore the value of our currency.

🔹The Valueless Subsidies Have Made the Nation Miserable
He emphasized: "Those who said sanctions were a blessing and that we would circumvent them were proven wrong. The sanctions have had their effect." He continued: "Many influential individuals and organizations have plundered national resources, and the nation has been afflicted with poverty and hunger. Never before have we seen the Iranian people suffer so much. These so-called subsidies they give are worthless. The nation became miserable when they introduced subsidies. Money needs to gain value, and jobs need to be created."

🔹The Most Important Task for the President-Elect is Fighting Corruption
Shaikh ul Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid then emphasized the importance of economic reform and tackling corruption: "We hope the economy improves. The economy and politics are so intertwined that unless domestic and foreign policies are rectified, the economy will not improve."
He identified corruption as a critical issue: "The most important and crucial task that Dr. Pezeshkian has before him is fighting corruption. This requires great courage and a significant movement in this direction, where all institutions work together to eliminate discrimination, implement justice, and fight corruption."

🔹The System's Strength Doesn't Lie in Weapons Production and Military Forces
Shaikh ul Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid offered a unique perspective on national strength, stating: "Sometimes people talk about the system's strength, and that's a good thing." However, he argued: "In my opinion, a system's strength doesn't lie in weapons production and military forces. The highest strength of any system comes from implementing justice and serving the people. A system has strength when the people support it. Addressing the people's needs and listening to the cries of women, ethnicities, religions, and all the people of Iran is the key point."
He further emphasized the importance of public trust: "If you win the hearts of the people, that's the greatest achievement. If the people become disillusioned, they won't become hopeful again, and if this opportunity is lost, it won't come back."

🔹The Iranian People Are in the Most Difficult Conditions Today
Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid said: "All officials, wherever they are, should go among the people and see the realities of society. Today, the Iranian people are in the most difficult conditions, and discrimination, inequality, and the 40-year economic and livelihood situation have put the people in difficult conditions, and the demands and efforts of the people have been fruitless, and we hope that these issues will be addressed."

🔹We Have No Goal Other Than Goodwill for All the People of Iran
The Friday Imam of Zahedan added: "We are not looking for positions, positions and material things, living in clerical clothes is easier for us, and we have no goal other than goodwill and compassion for all the people of Iran."

🔹The Iranian Nation Has Awakened
Mawlana Abdol Hamid said at the end: The biggest factor in the victory of nations is "awakening", and the Iranian nation has awakened today and is making its decisions based on its own awakening and will. Every human being has "freedom" and "conscience" and acts on the basis of this freedom and conscience. I hope God Almighty will bring relief to the Iranian nation.

Honorable Mr. Pezeshkian!
The Iranian people, who are tired of the current situation and are weary of numerous political, economic and social pressures, and the underprivileged classes have broken their bones under the burden of livelihood problems, will continue their civil activities and efforts until the full realization of their rightful demands, including the implementation of justice and freedom, the removal of narrow-mindedness, the improvement of livelihood, the realization of a dynamic economy, the return of international prestige and the achievement of national interests and rights.

Mr. Pezeshkian!
Be sure that this wise nation will not leave you alone on the way to achieving your rightful demands and realizing high national ideals and will support you in all fields.
Finally, it is worth mentioning that your covenant and commitment to pursue the rightful demands of the Iranian nation and initiate the desired changes will not be forgotten by the memory of this aware nation, and it is natural that with the start of the government's work, at the first opportunity, the Iranian people will expect to abide by the covenant and commitment you have made with the nation, and it is clear that negligence and disregard of this important matter by your team will once again turn hopes into despair, tongues into criticism, and enthusiasm into dissatisfaction and disappointment.
I hope that with reliance on Allah Almighty and attention to the problems of the good people of Iran, you will be successful and supported.

(Mawlana) Abdol Hamid

Pezeshkian wins Iran’s presidential election amidst increased voter turnout

TEHRAN – Veteran parliamentarian and former health minister Masoud Pezeshkian has emerged victorious in Iran's runoff presidential election, defeating former nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili in a tight race.
The Interior Ministry announced Pezeshkian's victory on Saturday, marking the conclusion of an election that saw significant voter participation despite numerous challenges.
In his first remarks since being declared the winner, Pezeshkian extended his regards to all Iranians. "We will extend the hand of friendship to everyone; we are all people of this country; we should use everyone for the progress of the country," he said on national television.
Later, he took to X (formerly Twitter) to thank the Iranian people for their trust, pledging not to let them down. "Dear people of Iran, the elections are over and this is just the beginning of our togetherness. The difficult path ahead will not be smooth except with your companionship, empathy, and trust. I extend my hand to you and I swear on my honor that I will not leave you alone on this path. Don't leave me alone."
Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi also expressed his gratitude to the voters and congratulated Pezeshkian on his victory. "Thanks God, the 14th presidential election ended in full security, soundness, and serious competition of candidates and the participation of over 30 million people of Iran, and the ninth president of Iran was elected. Mr. Masoud Pezeshkian was elected as the head of the 14th government, and I would like to congratulate him," Vahidi said.

🔹Slander and Backbiting Have Increased Significantly in Cyberspace; This Is Against Morality
The Friday prayer leader of Zahedan criticized the "increase of bad manners in cyberspace" in the final part of his speech, saying:
"Unfortunately, slander, backbiting, and bad manners have increased significantly in cyberspace these days. This is against morality. I remind everyone not to slander or backbite each other for our own or others' worldly gains, and not to play with anyone's reputation. We must avoid these issues." He added: "We must keep Allah in mind. We will all appear before Allah Almighty one day and be accountable for our actions. May Allah Almighty grant us all the ability to adhere to the teachings of Islam."

🔸The Quran Is the Book of Guidance and Leads to the Best Path
In the first part of his speech at the Zahedan Friday prayers, Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid referred to the Quran as "the book of guidance" and "the best spiritual program for building humans" and considered "returning to the Quran" and "following the teachings of the book and tradition" the only solution to the world's problems.
According to the website of the Zahedan Sunni Friday Prayer Leader's Office, Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid, after reciting the verse "Indeed, this Quran guides to the one which is most upright" [Al-Isra: 9], said: "Throughout human history, Allah Almighty has sent books for the guidance of the world and his servants, and also prophets who are free from error and mistake, and this program has always been in place from God for the spiritual education of humans. In this program, the last prophet is "Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)", the last book is "the Quran", and the last religion is "Islam"."
He continued: "The Quran, as the last book of God, does not belong to a particular people or nation, but rather to all humanity; as Allah Almighty said in describing the Quran: 'A guide for the people'." The Quran contains advice, counsel, and admonition for all people of the world. The Quran is a guidebook and a book of guidance that guides to the best and healthiest path. The Quran is a vast treasure and an endless sea that has no shore. I wish the people of the world and the experts would know the Holy Quran as it deserves and as the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and the close ones of this book knew it.
The Zahedan Friday prayer leader continued to say, referring to some of the "ways to protect the Quran": "The Quran is the word of God, and God himself has taken upon himself its protection. Thousands of companions received it directly from the lips of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), men and women recited the Quran in abundance, a large number of people memorized the Quran, and the scribes of revelation wrote the Quran. The Quran is Mutawatir (authentic because of Overwhelming Number of Narrators) , no one has been able to add or subtract from it. Allah Almighty protects the Great Quran so that it can be trusted by His servants and so that His servants can use it until the Day of Judgment."

🔹Torturing Prisoners is Not Serving the Regime, It's Betrayal
Addressing media reports of a prisoner's death due to torture, Imam of the Sunni Muslims of Zahedan, Shaikh ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid, demanded accountability for those responsible, saying: "Those who perpetrated this act must be held accountable and brought to justice. Some mistakenly believe that such actions serve the nation, the Regime, and the government, but this is nothing short of betrayal."

🔹Do Not Pay Ransom to Kidnappers
Amidst the rising cases of kidnappings, Shaikh ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid urged the public to refrain from paying ransom to kidnappers as a means to combat this phenomenon. He vehemently condemned such acts, stating: "Where in any religion is kidnapping and extortion justified? What humanity do these individuals possess who kidnap others for money, binding their hands and feet? How can they wrongfully take someone hostage and demand money from their family? Such ill-gotten gains turn into a cancer, destroying the lives and families of those who engage in such acts and leading to eternal punishment in hellfire in the hereafter. Banditry, theft, extortion, and causing harm to others nullify all good deeds of a person."

🔹Public Demands Pursuit and Punishment of Kidnappers
Shaikh ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid highlighted the critical issue of security, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding the province and added: "Security is not only the responsibility of the people and the trustees but also a paramount duty of the government. To date, no one has been apprehended for these crimes. The public demands the pursuit, arrest, and punishment of these perpetrators. Security is in the best interest of all."

🔹Tolerate Criticism
He advised officials and the people to be open to criticism, saying: "Recently, a Sunni Friday prayer leader in South Khorasan has been dismissed from his position as imam for his criticism." Not a single Sunni governor has been appointed in the cities of South and Razavi Khorasan so far. Criticism must be heard and issues resolved through dialogue and discussion. People in cities with a Sunni majority in Khorasan believe they are being discriminated against and demand the appointment of Sunni district governors and governors. And if they criticize, officials should tolerate it because these people have problems and are right. Everyone should welcome constructive criticism. We hope that Mullah Parsa, one of the young and valuable scholars of the community, will be reinstated as imam.

🔹The Majesty and Unity of Friday and Eid Prayers are Crucial
Referring to the enduring legacy of Mawlana Abdol Aziz in grandeur of holding Friday and Eid prayers, Shaikh ul Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid called for the unification of Friday and Eid prayers and to avoid holding multiple ceremonies of this kind in the city. He said: "Unifying Friday prayers leads to grandeur, unity, and solidarity in the ranks, which is vital and important, and brings the pleasure of God Almighty."
In conclusion, he expressed his appreciation to the Municipality and City Council of Zahedan, the security forces of Makki Mosque, and all the departments that cooperated in holding the Eid prayer in the best possible way and maintaining peace and security.

"The Almighty God has designated significant acts of worship during the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah, a period of immense blessing and distinction. Among these acts, sacrifice stands out as one of the greatest and most virtuous deeds. The Eid prayer is another special and unique act of worship bestowed upon all fortunate believers worldwide. The Takbirat al-Tashriq are also an integral part of these days, with the recitation of these supplications considered the most excellent form of remembrance of God during this time. Some Companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him) would commence reciting these Takbirat from the first day of Dhul Hijjah, though their recitation holds greater merit from the morning of the ninth day until the afternoon of the thirteenth. During these days, the recitation of the Takbirat al-Tashriq following the obligatory prayers is obligatory. Whether travelers or residents, women or men, all are enjoined to recite these exceptional and unique supplications, with women reciting them softly and men reciting them aloud."
Mawlana Abdol Hamid continued: "The Day of Arafah is a blessed day marked by numerous acts of worship that hold immense spiritual rewards. Among these, fasting on the Day of Arafah stands out as a particularly virtuous deed. The Almighty has bestowed upon those who observe this fast the reward of two years of fasting, a unique merit exclusive to this sacred day. This year, the Day of Arafah falls on Saturday in Saudi Arabia and Sunday in Iran. If you have not yet completed the ten days of fasting in Dhul Hijjah, I urge you to seize this opportunity and fast on Saturday and Sunday at the least."
Mawlana Abdul Hamid, the director of Darul Uloom Zahedan, spoke about another important act of worship during these days: sacrifice.
"Sacrifice is specifically tied to the days of Eid al-Adha. It can only be performed during these three days. If you slaughter a whole herd of sheep after Eid, it won't be considered a sacrifice. It would be counted as a charitable act, not a sacrifice. But for each strand of hair on the sacrificed animal, you receive a reward. And before the blood of the animal even touches the ground, the sins of the person who made the sacrifice for the sake of Allah (God) are forgiven."
He further added: "Hajj is another blessed act of worship that binds both time and place. It is performed only during these specific days in the sacred locations of Mina, Muzdalifah, the House of God (the Kaaba), and Arafat. If one's Hajj is accepted by Allah (God), then Paradise itself is the reward. The very foundation and pillar of Hajj is being present at Arafat. When a pilgrim stands on the plains of Arafat and sincerely repents, all their sins fall away. They are cleansed of their transgressions as if they were just born from their mother. In these sacred locations and during these auspicious days, Allah accepts repentance with the greatest favor. May Allah grant us the ability to benefit from these opportunities. May He also grant the pilgrims the ability to perform the rites as the close servants of Allah (God) have done. May their Hajj be accepted, and may they return home safe and sound."

The "Unlawful Pressures" on the Darul Uloom of Zahedan Continue
In another part of his speech, Mawlana Abdol Hamid, the Friday prayer leader of Zahedan, referred to the ongoing "unlawful pressures" on the Darul Uloom of Zahedan. He stated: "Unfortunately, pressures are still being exerted on our institution despite contradicting the law, customary practices, and Islamic law. Some official and legal documents related to the seminary have been revoked without any reason. They have also obstructed many citizens' rights. Additionally, at checkpoints, they have stopped many students who had gone home for the Eid al-Adha holidays and demanded they pledge not to return. This is despite the fact that the students here at the seminary only study, and we have emphasized to them that they should not be involved in any political activities and just focus on their studies. Therefore, pressuring these students and demanding pledges from them is an incorrect action and goes against the law and tradition."
He emphasized: "We urge the central authorities in Tehran, particularly those forward-thinking individuals entrusted with positions of responsibility, to take immediate action to stop those who are carrying out these acts. These individuals are creating division among the Iranian people. Their words are not spoken in the interest of security; instead, they are creating insecurity in the region. The actions of these inexperienced and hotheaded youngsters ultimately harm everyone. One of the issues I raised with Mr. Raisi during our first meeting was the need to appoint individuals with a broad perspective in sensitive areas, especially ethnic and religious regions. This is particularly important for security and military positions, as such individuals would be better equipped to make decisions without bias. Therefore, we implore the authorities in Tehran to address these issues and not neglect these regions, allowing individuals to misuse their authority and legal positions."
Continuing his address, he stated: “We hold you in high regard; you too should uphold these respects. If you have something to say, come forward and speak directly. You called for dialogue and discussion; we sent our friends to engage in negotiations. We are proponents of dialogue and discourse and encourage others to do the same. We have repeatedly stated in the past, sit down with the protesters and talk to them. Mawlana Abdol Hamid concluded by emphasizing: 'We have repeatedly stated that the Makki Seminary of Zahedan is not confined to a single faith; rather, we focus on the core principles of Islam and the betterment of all humanity. We hold ourselves accountable to never utter a word that contradicts truth and honesty. All Iranians are our compatriots, and we consider it our duty to defend their legitimate rights. We all reside together in this country. We may have our differences, but on matters of national security and territorial integrity, we stand united with all Iranians.”
