🔹 For the Heart to Be Beneficial and a Means of Salvation, it MUST Be Free From Corrupt Beliefs and Hypocrisy
Mawlana Abdol Hamid stated: “Anyone who associates partners with Allah, even if they believe in Him, has an unsound heart. The heart must be free from corrupt beliefs, hypocrisy, disbelief, polytheism, and hypocrisy. Hypocrisy is a form of polytheism that leads to immorality. All acts of worship must be purely for the sake of Allah to be accepted. Allah does not accept acts of worship performed for the pleasure of others.”
🔹 A Proud Person Has An Unhealthy Heart
The Friday Imam of Zahedan stated: “The heart must be free from arrogance. A person who considers themselves superior to others, attributes divine blessings to their own merits, and belittles others has an unhealthy heart.”
He continued: “Arrogance is a moral vice. Allah cursed Satan because he disobeyed not out of forgetfulness or error but out of arrogance and persisted in it until the end. In contrast, Prophet Adam (peace be upon him) sinned out of forgetfulness, repented, and Allah accepted his repentance. If a sin is committed due to error or forgetfulness, the remedy is to repent and seek forgiveness.”
🔹 A Heart Filled with Greed, Envy, and Resentment is Unsound
The Friday preacher of Zahedan emphasized: “The heart should be free from excessive greed for wealth that overshadows love for Allah. A person who does not fulfill God’s commands regarding wealth—such as paying zakat, giving the due rights of orphans, workers, partners, and other obligatory rights—has an unhealthy heart. One should love wealth but not more than Allah and themselves.”
He added: “Envy and resentment should not exist in the heart. A heart filled with envy and resentment is unhealthy. Many moral corruptions stem from envy, resentment, and arrogance.”
🔹 FAITH, SINCERITY, and HUMBLENESS must reside in the heart
Mawlana Abdol Hamid advised: “Take care of your hearts. In the heart, there must be belief in the oneness of Allah, faith, sincerity, devotion to God, and humbleness. Consider yourself the most sinful of God’s servants, the lowest and weakest among all creatures. The friends of God live humbly and remain among the people with humbleness; they do not boast about power, status, wealth, or lineage. This is a sign of knowing God. When one truly recognizes God, they forget themselves. Ego and arrogance are contrary to divine recognition. Everyone must accept the truth.”
He concluded: “Guard your hearts and ensure you die with a sound heart. Whoever does good, does so for their own benefit, and whoever does evil, does so against themselves. Remove envy and arrogance from your hearts. Let there be nothing in your heart except faith in God and the motivation for righteous deeds.”

🔹 Trump's New Plan for Gaza is "Blatant Oppression" / Israel Destroyed Gaza from the Start to Implement This Plan
In another part of his Friday sermon in Zahedan, the Imam of Zahedan described Trump's new decision regarding the Gaza Strip as "very dangerous," stating: "The extremely dangerous decision made by Trump is to expel the people of Gaza from their land, claiming that he wants to turn Gaza into a recreational area."
He noted: "The plan that Mr. Trump has now proposed for Gaza has been the goal of Israeli extremists from the very beginning. Israel initially destroyed Gaza with this objective—to render it uninhabitable so they could implement their plan."
🔹 Gaza Must Be Rebuilt for Its Residents, Not for Jewish Settlements
Mawlana Abdol Hamid added: "It is a great injustice that first, fifty thousand people in Gaza were massacred and annihilated under the pretext of Hamas militants' presence, and tens of thousands of advanced bombs were dropped on Gaza, destroying all buildings and infrastructure. And now, they are demanding that Gaza's two-million population abandon their homes, lands, and country. Where should these people go?!"
He continued: "All Islamic and non-Islamic countries have condemned Trump's plan. One of the terms of the Gaza ceasefire was that Gaza should be rebuilt for its residents, not for Jewish settlements."
🔹 Netanyahu and Trump Should Fear Divine Punishment / The Power of Allah is Greater Than the Power of the Entire World
The Friday prayer leader of Zahedan stated: "How is it possible to displace an entire nation from their devastated homes?! What a great injustice this is! Why do the Israelis and Americans not fear God and divine punishment?! We hope and are certain that Allah will hold them accountable. Netanyahu and Trump should know that this blatant and immense oppression will not be tolerated by Allah, and—God willing—He will take them to account. If you think you have great power, the power of Allah is greater than yours and the entire world."
🔹 Security in the Middle East is Possible Through "Justice" and "Fair Peace Between Israel and Palestinians"
Addressing U.S. and Israeli officials, the Imam of Zahedan stated: "If you seek peace and security in the region and the Middle East, and if you want to combat terrorism and instability, you must implement justice and establish a fair peace between Israel and the Palestinians. You must return Palestinian lands to their rightful owners and allow Palestinians to determine their own fate."
He emphasized: "With oppression, arrogance, and injustice, you cannot bring security and peace to the Middle East and the world. Therefore, you must reconsider your decisions and think about fairness, justice, peace, and making amends for past mistakes."
✨ Mawlana Abdol Hamid:
🔷 The Iranian Nation Joined the 1979 Revolution with Hopes of "JUSTICE," "FREEDOM," and "DEVELOPMENT and PROSPERITY"
Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid, in today’s (February 7, 2025) Friday prayer sermon in Zahedan, referred to the 46th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran and highlighted "justice," "freedom," and "spending Iran’s wealth domestically" as the most significant motives behind people's support for the revolution. He emphasized that despite 46 years passing since the victory of the Islamic Revolution, Iranians continue to voice their grievances over ongoing hardships.
🔹 The Previous Regime in Iran was Tyrannical, and the Ruler Did NOT Listen to The People
According to the information portal of the office of the Sunni Friday prayer leader of Zahedan, Mawlana Abdol Hamid stated: "The Iranian people were overjoyed after the victory of the 1979 Revolution because they felt that the previous government was tyrannical and that the ruler did not listen to the people. A circle of individuals surrounded the ruler, preventing the people's voices from reaching him. Throughout history, one of the biggest obstacles for rulers has been the presence of such entourages who block the voices of the people from reaching them."
He added: "Before the revolution, there was a dreadful and terrifying organization in Iran called 'SAVAK,' which engaged in wiretapping, intelligence gathering, severe crackdowns on people, and torture. At that time, the military also exerted pressure on freedom seekers."
🔹 The Iranian Nation Rose With the Slogans of " JUSTICE " and " FREEDOM"
The Friday prayer leader of Zahedan further stated: "Given that there was no justice or equality at the time, the Iranian people rose up with the slogans of 'justice' and 'freedom.' The nation was thirsty for justice, freedom, and a strong and dynamic economy. Back then, the leaders of the revolution used to say that many global powers were exploiting the country's oil and wealth while the regime's inner circle was plagued with corruption, embezzling public funds. The people wanted a government that could establish justice for all Iranians—men and women, across all social classes and groups."
He added: "At the forefront of the revolution were the clergy and scholars, with the late leader of the Islamic Revolution guiding it. Thus, all Iranians joined the revolution with the hope of freedom, justice, and the belief that all of Iran’s wealth and income would be used for the people themselves, leading to the nation’s development and prosperity. The Islamic Revolution triumphed in February 1979."
🔹 If Wealth Had Been Invested Domestically, Iran Would Be an "Economic Powerhouse" Today
Mawlana Abdol Hamid continued: "Forty-six years have passed since the revolution, yet Iranians continue to lament their situation. Hardly a day goes by without some professional group in a city or province protesting the current economic conditions."
He stated: "The people's complaint is that if Iran’s wealth had been invested domestically, today the country would be an economic powerhouse, its people would be prosperous, and even others would be benefiting from Iran’s economy."
🔹 Why should Iran’s Currency be Among the WEAKEST in The World?!
The Friday prayer leader of Zahedan remarked: "Before the revolution, although Iran had limited financial resources, its currency had value. Back then, a person could accomplish a lot with a small amount of capital. But today, even if someone possesses a sack full of money, it holds no real value in the market."
He added: "Most Iranians have no income, and those who do face difficulties because their money has lost its worth. Why should Iran’s currency be among the weakest in the world?!"
He also mentioned issues related to Gaza, stating: Thank God, there is now a ceasefire in Gaza. The people of Gaza need sympathy and humanitarian assistance. We, like many regions around the world, should collect humanitarian aid for the people of Gaza and encourage people on this matter.
In conclusion, Mawlana Abdol Hamid thanked all the people as well as the provincial officials for their cooperation in organizing this conference. He also expressed his grievances regarding the prevention of some prominent scholars from attending the conference.
The ceremony concluded with prayers led by Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdul Hamid on Thursday evening, January 31, 2025.

🌏Darululoom Zahedan Celebrated 34th Graduation Ceremony of its Male and Female Graduates
The 34th graduation ceremony of students of Darululoom Zahedan (Iran) took place after several years of interruption on Thursday, January 31, 2025, with a magnificent gathering of guests from all over the country, hosted by the people of Zahedan.
According to the organizers of the ceremony, the reason for not holding the graduation ceremonies in previous years was due to the spread of the coronavirus and the special security conditions in the province of Sistan and Baluchestan in recent years.
During this ceremony, which was held in several compressed sessions, there was an honor bestowed upon the memorizers of the Quran and graduates (both male and female) from the past few years of Darululoom Zahedan. Most of the guests belonged to Khorasan with guests from inside the province and other parts of Iran. Some scholars and public figures from Sunni-populated provinces intended to join the ceremony, but they were prevented from participating in the occasion.
🔸Unofficial session
The 34th Graduation Ceremony of Students of Darululoom Zahedan informally started on Wednesday afternoon, January 30, 2025, with the program "Gathering for Quran Recitation" at the Makki Mosque in Zahedan, next to Darululoom Zahedan. During this Quran gathering, reciters of the Holy Quran performed their recitations. In the same session, Mawlana Abdol Majid Moradzehi, a Sunni writer and researcher, and Mawlana Dr. Obaidullah Badpa, a Hadith scholar and dean of the specialized department for Islamic thought and Da'wah at Darululoom Zahedan, talked to the audiences. At the end, Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid welcomed the guests of the 34th graduation ceremony.
🔸Part One/ Honoring the Graduates of 2019 and 2020
The ceremony officially started on Thursday morning, January 31, 2025. In this segment, Molavi Mahmoud-ul-Hasan Ozbakzehi, representing the graduates of the current academic year, spoke first. This was followed by speeches from Zubair Akhund from Golestan province, Mawlana Khodabakhsh Islamdoust from Chabahar, representing Shaikh-ul-Hadith Mawlana Abd-ur-Rahman Chabahari, Mawlana Mohammad Tayyeb Mollazehi from Iranshahr, and Mawlana Mohammad Mofleh from Afghanistan. The first part of the official ceremony concluded with honoring the graduates of 2019 and 2020 from Darululoom Zahedan.
In this spiritual gathering, the old and young, and the rich and poor all sat together on mats. In the spiritual atmosphere of the graduation ceremony, no one was feeling to be superior, and everyone respected one another, making efforts to share in goodness and blessings together.
During the announcement of the names of the graduates from this section, it became clear that several graduates had passed away over the years. One of these graduates was the martyr Mawlavi "Omid Shahnavazi," one of the martyrs of the bloody Friday in Zahedan. His father, holding a picture of his martyr son, was present at the ceremony. Upon hearing this news and witnessing the scene of the father of martyr Mawlavi Omid Shahnavazi, a heavy and sorrowful silence enveloped the atmosphere of the ceremony for a few moments.
🔹The First Call of the Prophets was "Tawhid" and "Purification of the Heart from Polytheism and Disbelief"
The Friday Prayer speaker of Zahedan said: "The first mission of the Prophets, who are the greatest healers and teachers, was the purification of the soul and the cleansing of hearts from disbelief and polytheism. The Prophets, through revelation, used the knowledge of Allah and worked to cleanse the hearts of people from disbelief, as Allah says: 'And We did not send any messenger before you except that We revealed to him that there is no deity except Me, so worship Me'** [Quran, Surah Al-Anbiya: 25].
He explained: "Tawhid (the oneness of Allah) is the first call that every Prophet has made to their people. By believing in Allah, the heart is cleansed from polytheism and worship of other than Allah, and the connection between the person and Allah is established. The heart turns to the worship of the Lord, who is the only Creator, Sovereign, Sustainer, and Deity. The first call of the Prophets was to purify the heart from polytheism and disbelief. This purification should continue throughout one’s life."
He further stated: "The Prophets' efforts were to purify people from outward and inward polytheism. Hypocrisy is a form of hidden polytheism and a type of shirk. Although hypocrisy does not take a person out of the fold of religion, it is a great sin. It is narrated that prayer performed with hypocrisy is polytheism, fasting with hypocrisy is polytheism, and the pilgrimage with hypocrisy is polytheism. Prayer, fasting, pilgrimage, charity, and all acts of worship should be performed solely for Allah. When a person does acts of worship for the sake of others or with the intent of showing off, Allah does not accept them. Even worldly work, when done for Allah’s sake and with divine motivation, becomes an act of worship. A person can transform their worldly actions into acts of faith by performing them with sincerity and for the sake of Allah."
🔹Arrogance is the Source of Corruption and Extremely Dangerous
Mawlana Abdol Hamid further stated: "The greatest purification is the purification of the heart, and the thing that has caused the most misfortune throughout history is ‘self-centeredness.’ A person becomes trapped in arrogance and self-importance, considering themselves superior to others in terms of lineage, wealth, power, numbers, and beauty, and they are deceived. Allah the Almighty says: 'O human, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous?' What has made you arrogant? Has your knowledge, education, inventions, or innovations caused your arrogance? What has made you forget the Creator, who made you from a lifeless drop, and gave you beauty and power?"
He continued: "The greatest source of arrogance comes from the abilities and beauties that Allah has given to humans. A person does not consider who has given them this intellect, body, and stature, and they become negligent and proud. Whatever we have, we have received from Allah. We should be proud of Him and recognize His greatness."
He added: "The heart must be free from arrogance, egocentrism, and vanity, and a person should consider themselves the weakest and most sinful. Arrogance is a source of corruption and a very dangerous sin. Murder, oppression, and all sins arise from arrogance and rebellion. What caused Satan’s curse and his expulsion from the divine presence was arrogance. Arrogance caused him to become one of the disbelievers. When Satan refused to obey Allah’s command to respect Adam, Allah asked him whether he thought of himself as superior without justification or whether he truly believed he was better. Satan responded by claiming that he was better than Adam because he was created from fire, while Adam was created from clay. Allah cursed him and expelled him from the ranks of the illuminated angels."
Mawlana Abdol Hamid:
🕌The Security of the Middle East Is Tied to a Just Resolution of the Palestinian Issue
Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid, today (January 31 , 2025), in the Friday prayer ceremony in Zahedan, referred to the current situation of the people of Gaza following the end of the war and Israel’s aggression against this region. While urging the general public to help the people of Gaza rebuild their devastated city, he also called on world governments to “uphold justice” and “ensure a just and permanent resolution of the Palestinian issue.”
🔹Excessive Demands and Injustice Have Prevented the Resolution of the 70-Year-Old Conflict in Palestine
According to the official website of the Sunni Friday prayer office in Zahedan, Mawlana Abdol Hamid stated: “The situation in Gaza is evident to everyone. Nearly fifty thousand people in Gaza have been martyred, and the city has been destroyed. The events in Gaza have shown how, when a person is arrogant and has power at their disposal, they can oppress their fellow human beings.”
He further added:
“Western governments, which claim to uphold civilization and human rights more than others, host the United Nations and human rights organizations in America, and yet support Israel, must respect human rights more.”
The Friday prayer leader of Zahedan said:
“The seventy-year-old conflict in the occupied territories remains unresolved because people make excessive demands and refuse to accept justice and dialogue. In the past, it has been Israel that has rejected justice and negotiation.”
🔹The New U.S. Government Should Seek a Just and Permanent Resolution of the Palestinian Issue
Mawlana Abdol Hamid emphasized:
“The expectation from the new U.S. administration and European governments is to establish a fair resolution and agreement for Palestine so that everyone receives their due rights, and a lasting settlement is achieved between Israel and the Palestinians. Palestinian lands must be returned to their rightful owners, and no one should seek to seize others’ land.”
He further stated:
“The security of the Middle East is tied to a just and fair resolution of the Palestinian issue. Mr. Trump and his administration should consider a fair resolution for Palestine. Any U.S. or European government that can achieve a just resolution for Palestine will gain international recognition and a major diplomatic advantage.”
🔹Security and Lasting Peace Cannot Be Achieved Through Oppression and Injustice
Mawlana Abdol Hamid continued to emphasize the necessity of “justice” and said:
“I advise Americans, Europeans, and all Muslim and non-Muslim governments in the region to uphold justice.”
He added:
“The world that today claims to fight terrorism must understand that security and lasting peace cannot be achieved through oppression and injustice.”
🔹Justice and Freedom Can Secure a Nation and Satisfy Its People
The Friday prayer leader of Zahedan further stated:
“Religious and ideological freedom is a fundamental human right. Once the truth becomes clear to a person, no one has the right to force another to accept it. The prophets were only tasked with preaching and conveying the religion; they had no other responsibility. Allah has given people the freedom to choose their faith. Show people the path to paradise and hell, and let them decide which way to go. You cannot force anyone into paradise.”
He continued:
“Justice, fairness, and freedom can make a country secure and its people content. Political freedoms, freedom of thought, expression, and the press are fundamental human rights that all countries must ensure for their citizens. Criticism, expression, and the press must be free, and no one should be imprisoned or restricted for these reasons.”
🔹 Iran is Among the World’s Wealthiest Countries / The Nation Needs “Strong Management” and “Collective Wisdom”
The Friday prayer leader of Zahedan further emphasized:
“Iran is one of the world’s wealthiest countries in terms of resources, talents, and natural wealth. So why should the people of Iran face economic hardships? Authorities must take serious steps to solve economic problems. There are solutions, and they must be implemented.”
He stressed:
“One of the consensus demands of the Iranian nation is that all national assets and resources should be utilized within the country and for its people. Decision-makers must always prioritize national interests. The national interest of the country is more important than any other matter, and all focus must be on the people and the nation of Iran.”
Mawlana Abdol Hamid also pointed to weak leadership as one of the reasons for the country’s problems, stating:
“Many of the current challenges result from the appointment of weak and incapable leaders. The country needs strong management and collective wisdom to overcome these difficulties.”
🔹There is “Love and Unity” Between the Iranian Nation, Scholars, and the Sunni Community
In another part of his speech, Mawlana Abdol Hamid expressed satisfaction with the affection and solidarity among the Iranian people and the unity of Sunni scholars across the country.
“Alhamdulillah, today, Sunni scholars from different provinces and regions stand together, supporting and accompanying one another. For a long time, there has been a strong sense of unity and affection among all Iranians, especially within the Sunni community.”
He concluded:
“The people of Iran are all one nation and among the best nations in the world. May Allah grant them the dignity they deserve and keep the Iranian nation honorable and strong.”
🔹All People and Influential Figures Should Strive to “Maintain Security”
Mawlana Abdol Hamid emphasized the necessity of “maintaining security” and stated:
“Ensuring regional security is vital, crucial, and beneficial for everyone. All people and influential figures should work towards maintaining security.”
He added:
“Constructive discussions and criticisms are not problematic. Issues, demands, and concerns should be raised and pursued through dialogue and negotiation.”
🔹 The People of Gaza Resisted Oppression / Now is the Time to Rebuild Gaza and Provide “Humanitarian Aid”
In another part of his speech at the 34th graduation ceremony of Darul Uloom Zahedan, Mawlana Abdol Hamid referred to the recent events in Gaza and said:
“Alhamdulillah, a ceasefire has now been established in Gaza. During this period, the people of Gaza endured great oppression, yet they stood firm and showed resilience.”
He continued:
“Now is the time for the people of Gaza to rebuild their city and region. They need sympathy and humanitarian aid. We, like many other regions around the world, should collect humanitarian aid for the people of Gaza and encourage others to contribute.”
🔹 Darul Uloom Zahedan Was Founded by a “Refined Scholar” and a “Pious Religious Leader”
Mawlana Abdol Hamid further stated:
“Darul Uloom Zahedan was founded by Mawlana Abdulaziz (Rahimahullah), a refined scholar and a pious religious leader. All the blessings you see in this institution are due to his sincerity, efforts, and prayers, as well as the dedicated work of the teachers and scholars collaborating in this institution.”
🔹 Assigning Responsibilities to the Incompetent and Unqualified Is a Breach of Trust
Mawlana Abdol Hamid, in the continuation of his speech, mentioned “assigning tasks to the right people” as another example of trustworthiness and stated: “Allah Almighty says:
‘Indeed, Allah commands you to render trusts to whom they are due, and when you judge between people, judge with justice. Indeed, Allah instructs you excellently; indeed, Allah is ever Hearing and Seeing.’ [An-Nisa: 58]
Trust must be entrusted to its rightful owners. Once, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was speaking to his companions when one of them asked, ‘O Messenger of Allah, when will the Day of Judgment occur?’ He replied, ‘It will occur when trust is violated.’ The person then asked, ‘How will trust be violated?’ The Prophet responded, ‘When a task is entrusted to someone unqualified, the Day of Judgment will be upon you.’”
Mawlana Abdol Hamid continued: “Trust has a very broad and comprehensive meaning. The loss of trust is far more inclusive and complete than the loss of property. When responsibilities are assigned to the incapable or unqualified, and positions are obtained through bribes, connections, and influence, trust is violated. This type of breach of trust is very dangerous for society. Therefore, those who are entrusted with roles and responsibilities must assign tasks to the right people.”
He added: "The reason for many failures in the world is the failure to uphold trustworthiness. We must be trustworthy to Allah and to the people and live as trustworthy people. This is the best way of living.”
🔹 When You Judge, Judge Justly / Implementing Justice Ensures Global Security and Peace
The Zahedan Imam noted “judicial justice” as another example of “trustworthiness” and said: “Allah Almighty has commanded Muslims that when you judge between people, whether Muslims or non-Muslims, judge with fairness and do not overlook justice due to family ties or any other considerations. The world cannot be made secure through the police or military force alone. It is justice that sets and ensures the safety of the world and brings peace to it.”
He further recalled the incident of Hormozan, the envoy of the Persian Empire, meeting Caliph Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), saying: “When Hormozan visited Caliph Umar, he noticed that Umar was resting under a tree without any guards or protection. Hormozan, upon witnessing this, acknowledged that this was the result of Caliph Umar’s justice, which allowed him to feel such peace and security.”
🔹 Trustworthiness is the Pillar of Society; Without It, Society Collapses
At the end of this part of his speech, the Friday preacher of Zahedan pointed out: “Violating trust signals the end of the world and the onset of the Day of Judgment. A world and a humanity without trust has no good In it.”
He emphasized: “Trustworthiness is the foundation of society. When there is no trust in a society, the entire human system and order collapse, and it becomes impossible for people to continue their lives.”

🔹The Palestinian People Must Analyze Their Problems
In continuation of his sermon, the Friday Imam of Zahedan also stressed the necessity of analyzing the challenges of the Palestinian people, stating:
The Palestinian nation has historically been oppressed and denied its rights. This matter must also be analyzed by the Palestinians themselves to identify weaknesses and shortcomings.
He stated: My sincere and well-meaning advice to the Hamas movement is to analyze the unprecedented events in Gaza, including the massacre of women and children (such as the events of October 7), to understand the factors leading to these tragedies.
Mawlana Abdol Hamid further remarked: We and the entire world recognize that the Palestinian people are oppressed. However, I advise the oppressed Palestinian nation not to commit excesses or injustices against others. Palestinians have the right to self-defense, the struggle for the liberation of occupied lands, and the establishment of an independent state with sovereignty over their destiny. But they must also ensure that no injustice emanates from their side.
He added: All governments worldwide that have suffered setbacks must analyze and disclose the sources of these failures. Acknowledging one’s mistakes reflects courage and a high level of character.
The Oppressor MUST Fear the Consequences of Their Actions
Concluding his Friday sermon, the Friday Imam of Zahedan warned about the consequences of oppression and stated:
Allah Almighty declares: “And never think that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do.” This verse is a warning to all oppressors worldwide.
Those who commit oppression and wreak havoc on people’s lives should not think that there is no one to hold them accountable. Allah Almighty will undoubtedly question and severely punish the oppressors.
He emphasized: Oppressors must fear the consequences of their actions and realize that oppression has no good outcome. Anyone committing oppression will face Allah’s retribution in this world.
Israel, currently oppressing the Palestinian people, should not assume immunity from Allah’s reckoning. We hope that the occupied territories will be returned to the Palestinian people, and they will achieve independence and sovereignty over their destiny.
🔹 A Society Without “Trustworthiness” Will Collapse
Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid, in the first part of his speech during the Friday prayer in Zahedan (December 27, 2024), highlighted the importance of “protecting religion, property, and lives” and “assigning responsibilities to deserving individuals” as prominent examples of “trustworthiness”. He emphasized that trustworthiness is the cornerstone of a society, and a community that lacks it will disintegrate and perish.
🔹 Breach of Trust Contradicts Faith and Morality
According to the official website of the Sunni Friday prayer leader of Zahedan, Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid recited the verse:
“Indeed, Allah commands you to render trusts to whom they are due and when you judge between people to judge with justice. Excellent is that which Allah instructs you. Indeed, Allah is ever Hearing and Seeing.” [An-Nisa: 58]
He said: "Allah Almighty commands us in the Qur’an to be trustworthy and to deliver trusts to their rightful owners, and to practice justice in judgments. The terms ‘faith’ and ‘trust’ are derived from the same root, showing that just as faith is significant and grand, so is trustworthiness in terms of morality. Where there is no trustworthiness, there is no faith.”
He added: “A hadith states: ‘He who has no trust has no faith, and he who does not keep his covenant has no religion.’ Today, trusts are being squandered in society due to weak faith. People break promises and contracts because religion is absent. Our faith commands us to honor agreements. Allah Almighty says:
‘O you who believe, fulfill [all] contracts.’ [Al-Ma’idah: 1]
Hence, it is against religion for a person to uphold a contract only when it benefits them but violate it when it is against their interest.”

🔹Preserve Allah’s Favor through Adherence to Divine Commands and Benevolence Toward Others
The Zahedan Friday prayer leader continued, “Almighty Allah advises humanity to balance the management of both worldly and eternal matters. Worldly affairs are necessary, and individuals should engage in permissible work, trade, industry, and other means of earning a lawful livelihood, all while worshiping Allah.”
He added, “Preserving Allah’s favor is more crucial than preserving one’s life, children, and wealth. Losing Allah is irreparable. Thus, in every place, situation, and condition, we must safeguard Allah’s presence within us. This can be achieved through piety, adherence to divine instructions, goodwill toward others, and a caring and compassionate attitude.”
🔹Islam Teaches Us Humanity
Mawlana Abdol Hamid added, “The Quran, Islam, and the lifestyle of the Holy Prophet teach humanity. They urge us to establish prayers, pay zakat, follow Islamic commandments, and adopt good morals. On the Day of Judgment, the greatest reward will be granted for good character, and no good deed will outweigh good morals on the scale of deeds.”
He further explained, “Paradise is the abode of those who avoid major sins and indecencies, display patience and forgiveness in times of anger, and obey Allah’s commands. Indecencies refer to sins involving shamelessness or overtly committed major sins.”
He remarked, “Good character is of utmost importance. Suppressing anger toward wrongdoers and showing tolerance are among the most significant moral virtues. Consultation in matters and generosity are also qualities of the people of paradise, with immense rewards for such moral actions.”
🔹Humanity’s Duty to Show Compassion Toward All Creatures
The director of Darul Uloom of Zahedan stated, “Unfortunately, Muslims today are content with mere claims of faith, neglecting the lifestyle and morals of the Prophet, his household, and companions, which have faded in their lives, alongside their attention to ethics.”
He added, “Almighty Allah has honored and dignified humanity, creating all beings for human service. He has endowed humans with intellect, countless blessings, and appointed them as stewards on earth to implement His commands. This signifies the attention and esteem Allah has granted humanity.”
He concluded, “Humanity’s essence obliges one to uphold human dignity, display compassion, embody humane treatment and empathy, and behave with a humanistic spirit. Otherwise, one fails to truly embody the essence of being human.”
Mawlana Abdol Hamid:
🕌The country’s economy is abandoned, and no effective measures are seen from the authorities to curb rising economic issues
Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid, during today’s (December 20, 2024) Friday prayers in Zahedan, expressed regret over the rising poverty and economic challenges faced by the people. He emphasized the necessity of “consultation with various experts” in this regard and deemed “policy changes” essential for solving economic issues.
According to the official website of the Sunni Friday Prayer Office of Zahedan, Mawlana Abdol Hamid stated during his Friday sermon:
“Unfortunately, today, the country faces severe poverty, hunger, and economic problems. The current value of one US dollar has approached 80,000 tomans, whereas we expected it to drop to 10,000 or 20,000 tomans.”
He emphasized:
“The economy of the country has been abandoned, and the economic problems of the people are increasing. Unfortunately, we see no strategic plans from the authorities to control these issues and restore the value of the national currency.”
🔹Addressing economic challenges requires consulting experts / If I held authority, I would release all political prisoners
The Friday Prayer Leader of Zahedan stressed:
“The responsibilities of the authorities are very heavy. They must not remain idle and should find solutions through consultation with others. In universities and even prisons, there are knowledgeable individuals whose perspectives should be sought and utilized.”
He remarked:
“If I held authority in this country, I would not allow political prisoners to spend even a single night in jail. This country belongs to all. Experts from academic institutions, religious circles, businesses, and various sectors of society must be consulted.”
🔹“Policy changes” can solve economic challenges
Mawlana Abdol Hamid reiterated the need to address economic challenges, saying:
“Economic problems have solutions. During the 12th administration, I proposed measures to control the country’s economy. One newspaper had published an article dismissing my ideas, arguing that with so many economists and experts, they couldn’t resolve the issues—how could I? I responded that they should first consider my suggestions and then criticize them.”
He declared:
“The root cause of the country’s economic issues is its political challenges. Economists alone cannot resolve these economic problems; policy changes are what can make the difference. In some countries, where recent political changes have occurred, we immediately witnessed a 50% rise in the value of their currency. Change your policies, abandon some of your stances, and respect the opinions of the people; you will see the value of the currency restored.”
🔹 “Poverty” is the root of many insecurities
The Friday Prayer Leader of Zahedan further pointed out the consequences of “poverty” in society, emphasizing:
“Poverty is the root cause of many insecurities. Its spread within society undermines religion, leads individuals toward disbelief and sin, and promotes immorality within the community.”
🔹 Hostage-taking is an ‘ugly phenomenon’ and ‘the height of immorality’
In another part of his sermon, Mawlana Abdol Hamid condemned the act of “hostage-taking” and stated:
“Unfortunately, some individuals, devoid of any sense of humanity—what Rumi describes as ‘the sheath of a human’—fearlessly kill people. Sometimes individuals are taken hostage for debt repayment or even extortion. Hostage-taking is an extremely vile phenomenon.”
He added:
“In the past, when hostage-taking wasn’t a regional issue, and one case occurred, we warned that failure to stop it would make it a significant problem in the future.”
Mawlana Abdol Hamid at the Supreme Council of Fiqh and Fatwa Meeting:
🌏Consultation and Problem-Solving for Addressing People’s Needs Are Vital
Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid, during the closing session of the First Meeting of the Supreme Council of Fiqh and Fatwa on Saturday evening (December 21, 2024) in Zahedan, emphasized the critical importance of “addressing and providing Sharia-based solutions for people’s problems, including jurisprudential issues.” He stressed the need for “consultation and exchange of views among scholars from various regions” to achieve this.
According to the information portal of the Sunni Friday prayer leader’s office in Zahedan, the meeting, hosted by the Darul Ifta of Darul Uloom Zahedan and attended by religious scholars and fatwa authorities from Sistan-Baluchistan and Khorasan Razavi provinces, commenced with Mawlana Abdol Hamid extending a warm welcome to the participants and expressing gratitude to the Darul Ifta team. He remarked: “It is immensely valuable and important for scholars, especially those involved in issuing fatawa, to convene, research, and discuss jurisprudential matters relevant to the needs of the people. Attending to the needs and problems of society, including providing religious and Sharia-compliant solutions, carries great reward.”
He added: "Consultation and seeking advice in all matters are important and beneficial, providing greater clarity. However, holding consultative sessions on jurisprudential and religious issues is even more critical. This practice dates back to the time of the Companions when prominent figures among them gathered from different places to discuss and resolve issues. At times, they even invited advice from the Prophet’s noble wives. In subsequent eras, many jurists, theologians, and hadith scholars regularly consulted each other on matters pertinent to their fields.”
🔹In Today’s Connected World, the Scholars’ Responsibilities Are Heavier
The Friday prayer leader of Zahedan stated: “We live in a new era vastly different from past times, with unique needs. Scholars of each era have fulfilled their responsibilities and endeavored to address the people’s problems. In today’s world, where the lives of all nations are interconnected through the internet and where people share common interests, the responsibilities of scholars are much greater.”
He continued: “Communication and mutual exchange of views among scholars from different regions are essential for finding appropriate solutions to people’s needs. Collective consultation and teamwork foster broader perspectives and greater assurance.”
🔹Beyond “Apparent Jurisprudence,” Attention Should Be Paid to “Inner Jurisprudence”
Mawlana Abdol Hamid underscored the necessity of focusing on “inner jurisprudence” and stated: “The discussions and exchanges in these fiqh gatherings primarily concern “apparent jurisprudence.” However, alongside this focus, it is crucial that we also emphasize “inner jurisprudence.” Inner jurisprudence pertains to purification and internal reform.”
He added: “Past scholars placed great importance on ‘inner jurisprudence.’ All leading jurists and imams, including Imam Abu Hanifa, Imam Shafi’I, Imam Malik, Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal, Sufyan Thawri, and others, alongside their mastery of apparent jurisprudence, were also deeply knowledgeable and skilled in inner jurisprudence and self-purification, which they incorporated into their lives.”
🔹 Destroying People's Homes is Not the Right Action
🔹 "National Lands" Belong to the Nation; Allocate These Lands to People for Housing / People Cannot Afford Rent
In another part of his speech, Mawlana Abdol Hamid referred to the demolition of people's homes around Chabahar and Zahedan and stated: "The national and provincial authorities must understand that life has become truly difficult for the people of Iran. Nowadays, residents of affluent neighborhoods in Tehran, due to their inability to pay rent, are moving to lower-income areas, while those in poorer neighborhoods are being pushed to the outskirts of the city or villages. If even Tehran’s residents are facing dead ends, the situation in other cities is clear. The people of Zahedan and other cities in the province also cannot afford high rents."
He added: "'National lands' are lands that belong to the nation. You should grant these lands to the people so they can build homes for themselves. While you allocate several hectares of land to certain organizations and institutions, you should also provide land at a low price to those who are struggling with rent."
The Friday prayer leader of Zahedan stated: "Institutions and organizations should be given as much land as they need, but granting large areas to them for trade or occupation while ordinary people remain landless is an injustice. Sistan and Baluchestan province, which is as large as a country, has vast lands, many of which are unsuitable for agriculture; these lands should be given to the people."
He emphasized: "Demolishing people's homes is not the right action and leads to negative publicity. We hope officials will act with compassion and prevent individuals from exploiting emotions and fueling negative propaganda. We all know that the current situation is not good, and in such conditions, any provocative action should be avoided."
🔹 Zahedan Municipality Officials Should Work on City Cleanliness
At the end of his speech, Mawlana Abdol Hamid, referring to complaints from both residents and visitors about the cleanliness of Zahedan, urged the municipal and city council officials to make efforts to improve the city's hygiene and sanitation.
🔷 On the Day of Judgment, a ‘Sound Heart’ and ‘Righteous Deeds’ WILL Benefit a Person
Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid, in the first part of his speech at the Zahedan Friday prayer (February 7, 2025), emphasized the importance of “purity of heart from corrupt beliefs, moral vices, and hypocrisy” and stressed that only a “sound heart” and “righteous deeds” can be of benefit on the Day of Judgment.
According to the information center of the Office of the Sunni Friday Imam of Zahedan, Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid, after reciting the verses:
"The Day when neither wealth nor children will benefit, except for him who comes to Allah with a sound heart." [Ash-Shu'ara: 88-89],
stated that Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) prayed to be among the heirs of Paradise, for his good name to continue among later generations, and for his father to be forgiven and not be disgraced on the Day of Judgment. He referred to his father’s suffering on that day as a disgrace and, by asking for his forgiveness, in reality, he sought Paradise for him. However, Allah declared that his father had died in disbelief and enmity against God, and that neither wealth nor children could avail a person without an acceptable faith. Even though Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) was one of the closest servants of Allah, he could do nothing to save his father from Hell.
He continued: “In the challenges of worldly life, wealth and children are useful, but on the Day of Judgment, they will be of no benefit—except for those who come before Allah with a sound heart. That will be a day when neither wealth nor offspring will help. Only a sound heart can be beneficial and a means of salvation.”
He added: “The Qur’an teaches us that wealth, status, and children will be of no use on the Day of Judgment. Only a sound heart—one that possesses correct monotheistic belief—will be beneficial.”
🔹 The Problem is "Power Dispersion," NOT "Power Concentration"
Mawlana Abdol Hamid further noted: "One of the country's problems is not the concentration of power, but rather its dispersion. There are multiple decision-making centers in the country, and many of them are not accountable to the parliament or any institution. Even the government, which is elected by the people, has very limited authority."
He continued: "The current problems in the country stem from this power dispersion. Any nation facing such conditions is bound to struggle with numerous challenges."
🔹 "Selection Filters" are a Major Problem in The Country
The Friday prayer leader of Zahedan also pointed to "selection filters" as another significant issue, stating: "One of the major problems in the country is the filtering process in presidential and parliamentary elections as well as in public sector employment. These filters disqualify competent and capable individuals, allowing only a specific group to be approved—a method rarely seen worldwide."
He added: "When strong candidates are disqualified or lose hope in being approved, weak managers and officials take charge, leading to widespread problems and dissatisfaction."
🔹 "The Nation" is More Important Than "The Regime" / The Regime Exists for the Nation, Not the Nation for the Regime
Mawlana Abdol Hamid further stated: "I consider nothing as important as 'the nation.' In my view, the nation is even more important than the system. We insist that the nation should not endure hardship and hunger. The satisfaction of the nation is crucial."
He emphasized: "The system exists for the nation, not the nation for the system. The duty of every system and government in the world is to bring comfort to the nation and ensure its satisfaction."
🔹 The Power of "Justice" in Establishing Security is Greater Than the Power of "Modern Weapons"
🔹 If the Nation Were Satisfied Today, the Country Would Be Much Stronger
The Friday prayer leader of Zahedan added: "Weapons and military equipment are good for defense, and we do not reject them, but nothing equals the satisfaction of the nation. The power of justice in establishing stability, security, and peace is greater than all modern and advanced weapons. Preserving the nation is extremely important. If justice were implemented among men and women, ethnic groups, and religious sects, people would be satisfied today."
He emphasized: "If the nation were satisfied today and free from problems and hardships, the country would be much stronger. The satisfaction of the Almighty lies in the satisfaction of the people. Therefore, it is necessary for the country's leaders and wise individuals in society to properly and seriously analyze the problems and for officials to find solutions to people's issues."
🔹 "Sanctions" Are Not the Solution; The Cure for Problems Lies in "Negotiation and Dialogue"
🔹 Past Sanctions Put the Greatest Pressure on the Nation
Mawlana Abdol Hamid also referred to the new sanctions imposed on Iran by Donald Trump, stating: "'Sanctions' are wrong and only add to people's problems. Past sanctions placed the greatest pressure on the nation, and the new sanctions will bring further hardship upon the Iranian people."
He added: "Those imposing these sanctions—why do they not think about the people of Iran?! These people cannot endure new sanctions. 'Sanctions' are not the solution; the cure for problems lies in 'negotiation and dialogue.'"

34th graduation ceremony of students of Darululoom Zahedan (Iran)
Читать полностью…🔸Part Two/ Honoring Male Graduates of 2021 and Female Graduates of 2019, 2020, and 2021
In this section, the program continued with a speech by Mawlana Abdol Ghani Badri, the educational deputy and a prominent teacher of Tafsir and Hadith at Darululoom Zahedan. Mawlana Badri highlighted the prevention of prominent scholars and intellectual figures from attending the ceremony, noting that while most guests had no issues attending, scholars from Kurdistan, Golestan, Khorasan, Hormozgan, Fars, and intellectuals from Tehran have been banned from participation.
He continued by referring to "the role of youth in revolutions", and said: In every historical revolution, young people have played a significant role. The young companions in the early days of Islam created wonders and spread Islam to the farthest corners of the world. Almighty Allah has granted youth strength, ability, competence, and special talents, and they are expected to choose the prophets of Allah, especially Prophet Yousuf (peace be upon him), as the best role models for their lives.
🔸Final Part and Honoring Graduates of 2024 and Quran Memorizers from 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2024
The final part of the ceremony began after the delayed noon prayer and continued until sunset. Speakers included Mawlana Mufti Mohammad Qasem Qasemi, Shaikh Ibrahim Ismaili from Hormozgan, and Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid, president of Darululoom Zahedan. They honored the male and female graduates of 2024 and Quran memorizers from the years 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2024.
The sun was slowly approaching its moments of sunset, and the air was gradually getting colder, but none of the guests was willing to leave this spiritual atmosphere. They had endured the hardships of the journey to gather in this spiritual gathering, and to take with them a provision of faith, spirituality, and eagerness to act upon their faith.
🔸The moment everyone was waiting for...
Mawlana Abdol Hamid, as the final lecturer and speaker, emphasized the importance of learning both Islamic and modern sciences, and described Islam as a religion of interaction and tolerance, and discussed the defensive nature of Jihad in Islam.
He emphasized that knowledge and education are not just for men, saying: Both women and men must work hard in this path; because our nation needs righteous scholars and cultured specialists to progress in both religious and worldly matters.
The famous Iranian scholar introduced Islam as "the religion of interaction and tolerance", and emphasized: Jihad in Islam, from the perspective of many scholars, is 'defensive jihad,' aimed at deterring oppression and aggression. Islam has not spread by the sword, but rather has influenced the world through ethics and the beautiful teachings of the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet of Islam.
Mawlana Abdol Hamid, in his continued remarks, referred to the economic problems faced by the people of Iran, and said: Iran is one of the richest countries in the world in terms of talent and natural resources; why do the people of Iran face economic problems? One of the demands of the Iranian people is that all assets and resources of the country must be spent within Iran and for the people of Iran.
The Imam of Zahedan considered one reason for the current problems in the country to be "the employment of weak directors", and stated: The country needs strong management and collective thinking.
He expressed his satisfaction with "the solidarity among the Iranian people and Sunni scholars" and added: Thank God, today, Sunni scholars from the province and the country stand together, supporting each other.
Mawlana Abdol Hamid also emphasized the importance of maintaining security, saying: Maintaining regional security is very vital and important. Issues and demands should be raised and pursued through dialogue, negotiation, and constructive criticism.
🔹Prayer Removes Arrogance from the Heart
Mawlana Abdol Hamid said: "Sincere prayer and prostration remove arrogance from the heart. Satan became arrogant because of his refusal to prostrate. This shows that prostration, prayer, and worship are the greatest tests and the best solutions for removing arrogance. For someone who reflects on what they were created from and observes their weaknesses, humility will arise in their heart. Humility and sincerity are among the best traits."
🔹Love for Wealth Should Not Overpower Love for Allah / Charity Removes the Trait of Stinginess
The head of Darul-Uloom Zahedan continued: "You must give charity from your wealth for the sake of Allah the Almighty. Charity removes excessive and misplaced love for the world from the heart, and by giving charity, stinginess is removed, protecting a person from the intense love and greed for money."
He added: "Love for wealth is correct and necessary, and a person should protect and increase their wealth, but the love of wealth should never surpass love for Allah. First comes love for Allah. When a person loves Allah more, they fulfill their financial obligations, take care of the rights of their spouse and children, and pay the rights of others and Allah’s command over their wealth. Love for wealth should never overpower a person; rather, a person should have mastery over their wealth."
🔹Sha'ban and Ramadan are Months of Returning to Allah, Prayer, Charity, and Good Deeds
Mawlana Abdol Hamid, in another part of his speech, referred to the beginning of Sha'ban and the approaching blessed month of Ramadan, emphasizing the importance of spiritually utilizing these months. He said: "Sha'ban is a month of reform and purification. We must crush our arrogance and reform ourselves both internally and externally, leaving behind our sins."
He continued: "Sha'ban and especially Ramadan are months of returning to Allah, prayer, charity, and good deeds. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) fasted in the month of Sha'ban after Ramadan. Fasting is one of the best acts of worship that has a profound impact on the building, purification, and reform of a person."
The Friday Prayer Imam of Zahedan stated: "Sha'ban prepares the person for the larger season of worship, which is Ramadan. In this month, we should try to fast, engage in more recitation and remembrance of Allah the Almighty. During this month, let us increase our return to Allah, repentance, and seeking forgiveness, working towards purifying the rebellious and disobedient soul so that it becomes tamed, reformed, and without defiance."

🔹Solving the Country’s Economic Problems Requires “Serious Determination” and “Policy Changes”
Mawlana Abdol Hamid emphasized: “The solution to all problems lies in ‘dialogue’ and ‘justice.’ One of the country’s senior officials recently stated that anyone with solutions or suggestions for economic problems should present them. To resolve economic issues, justice must be implemented. Justice is not limited to the judiciary; it must be upheld in all sectors and aspects of governance.”
He further stated:
“Until domestic and foreign policies are reformed and aligned with justice, the country’s economic problems will not be resolved. In the past, one U.S. dollar was worth seven tomans in Iran, but now it has exceeded 80,000 tomans. Even if you manage to bring the exchange rate down to 7,000 tomans, that would be a great achievement.”
The Friday prayer leader of Zahedan added:
“Lowering the dollar exchange rate and solving economic issues require serious determination, strong efforts, and major changes in domestic and foreign policies. Although we are not very hopeful, if there is true determination, solving economic and other national problems will be possible.”
🔹Purification of the Soul is the Greatest Jihad / Make Use of the Opportunities in Sha'ban and Ramadan for Self-Improvement and Reform
Shaikh -ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid, in the first part of his speech at the Friday Prayer ceremony in Zahedan (January 31, 2025), referred to the purification of the soul as the greatest jihad and emphasized utilizing the opportunities of the months of Sha'ban and Ramadan for purification and self-improvement.
According to the official website of the Friday Prayer Imam of Zahedan, Shaikh -ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid, after reciting the verse:
"He has succeeded who purifies himself and remembers the name of his Lord and prays. But you prefer the life of this world" [Quran, Surah Al-A'la: 14-16], stated: "Allah the Almighty has commanded humans to purify and reform themselves. The purification of the rebellious soul, which constantly urges toward sin and evil, is the greatest jihad. Everyone must prevent the soul from disobeying Allah the Almighty and compel it to obey the Lord."
🔹Gratitude to Everyone Who Helped Organize This Event / Provincial Officials Cooperated
Disappointment Over the Prevention of Some Prominent Scholars from Attending
At the conclusion of his speech, Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to organizing the ceremony, saying:
“I extend my heartfelt thanks and prayers for all those who assisted in organizing this event in any way—whether financially, in service and hospitality, or in any other form.”
He added:
“The provincial authorities also cooperated, and there were no major issues. However, we express our disappointment that some prominent scholars in certain provinces were prevented from attending this gathering.”

Mawlana Abdol Hamid at the 34th Graduation Ceremony of Darul Uloom Zahedan:
🌏Iran’s Wealth Must Be Spent Within the Country for the People; This is the “Consensus Demand” of the Iranian Nation
On Thursday, January 30th , 2025, at the 34th graduation ceremony of Darul Uloom Zahedan, Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid emphasized the growing affection and unity among different segments of Iranian society, referring to the Iranian people as “one of the best nations in the world.” The Friday prayer leader of Zahedan also addressed the economic and livelihood challenges in Iran, stressing the need for serious action by authorities and the allocation of Iran’s wealth within the country for its people, describing this as the “consensus demand” of the Iranian nation.
🔹“We Follow the Path of Moderation and Wish Well for All Humanity”
According to the official website of the Sunni Friday prayer leader of Zahedan, Mawlana Abdol Hamid welcomed people from different regions of the country attending the ceremony and stated:
“Our path is one of moderation; we do not believe in extremism. There is no extremism in Islam. Moderation and balance are lasting and pleasing to the Lord.”
He added:
“We think in favor of humanity and wish well for all mankind. The divine prophets cared for all human beings, striving for their guidance, reform, and the prosperity of both their worldly and afterlife affairs. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was not only a mercy for Muslims but for all humanity and all creatures: ‘And we have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds’ (Quran 21:107). The Muslim Ummah must also be a mercy for all of humanity.”
🔹 Islam is a Religion of Interaction, Tolerance, and Peaceful Coexistence
Mawlana Abdol Hamid stated:
“Islam is a religion of interaction, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence. ‘Jihad’ in Islam, according to a large number of scholars and experts, is primarily ‘defensive jihad,’ aimed at preventing oppression, aggression, and tyranny.”
He added:
“All Islamic scholars agree that Islam did not spread in the world through the sword but rather through its beautiful and luminous beliefs, rulings, and ethics. If Muslims today want to influence the world, they must adhere to Islamic ethics, Quranic teachings, and the beautiful traditions of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ."
🔹 “Economic and Livelihood Issues” Are Among the Biggest Challenges for the Iranian People
Mawlana Abdol Hamid addressed the concerns and demands of the Iranian people, saying:
“Iran belongs to the people of Iran, and its wealth also belongs to them. It is the right of the Iranian nation that their concerns and difficulties be addressed.”
He added:
“One of the biggest challenges for Iranians, which affects all of us, is the economic crisis and livelihood difficulties. Life has become extremely tough and constrained for many people, especially for low-income groups and the unemployed. Even government employees, business owners, and manufacturers are struggling due to the depreciation of the national currency.”
🔹 Trustworthiness Is a Sign of Faith
The Zahedan prayer leader stated: “Property, whether private or public, is a trust when placed in someone’s hands, and it must be protected. Assets of schools, mosques, religious institutions, education departments, universities, organizations, and public funds are all public trusts. Adhering to these trusts is of utmost importance.”
He recalled: "Mawlana Abdul Aziz (may Allah have mercy on him), the founder of Darul Uloom Makki, was highly cautious about the trust of school and mosque funds. Sometimes, late at night, he would call, urging immediate collection of funds that had reached him from the school. He could not sleep peacefully knowing school funds were at his home. Such trustworthiness is a reflection of faith. When a person possesses faith, they value trust.”
🔹Religion Is a Divine Trust; It Must Be Protected
Mawlana Abdol Hamid stated: “The Holy Qur’an, the Sunnah of the Prophet, prayers, fasting, and all religious commands are trusts. Allah Almighty says:
‘Indeed, We offered the Trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, and they declined to bear it and feared it; but man [undertook to] bear it. Indeed, he was unjust and ignorant.’ [Al-Ahzab: 72]
The heavens, earth, and mountains declared their incapacity to bear this trust, but humans, equipped with ability and merit, accepted it.”
He added: "The entirety of religion is a trust, and we must guard and preserve it. We must ensure that faith continues in our society and generations after us. Neglecting religion is neglecting a trust.”
🔹 Misusing Body Parts, Wealth, and Assets Is Breaching Trust
The Zahedan preacher remarked: “Guarding one’s body is also part of ‘trustworthiness,’ as Allah has entrusted us with our hands, feet, ears, tongue, mind, and heart. All these belong to Allah, who tests us with these assets so that we do not betray Him or others. The eye is a trust of the Almighty; it must not be used to look unlawfully at others’ honor or wealth. The tongue, a divine trust, must not utter lies or accusations. It should be utilized for truth and benefit, refraining from deceit or sin.”
He continued: "if a person uses their wealth and resources, given by Allah, for sinful purposes, this constitutes a ‘breach of trust.’ Allah has not provided wealth for purchasing alcohol, drugs, paying bribes, committing oppression, or harming others. Using assets for such purposes is a misuse of trust and an act of ingratitude towards the blessings of wealth.”
Mawlana Abdol Hamid:
🕌All Nations and Governments Must “Analyze” the Causes of their Failures and Setbacks
Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid, during today’s (December 27, 2024) Friday prayer in Zahedan, described the incidents and challenges in Iran and other parts of the world as “results” and emphasized the necessity of analyzing these problems and “addressing their causes.”
According to the official website of the Sunni Friday Prayer Imam of Zahedan, Mawlana Abdol Hamid stated in part of his sermon:
🔹Throughout History, Nations Have Always Analyzed their Failures and Setbacks Instead of Blaming Others
He added: During the early period of Islam, when the companions faced defeat in the Battle of Uhud, they sought the reasons behind this loss. The Qur’an analyzed the defeat of the Muslims in this battle and revealed:
“Why, when a misfortune struck you, although you had struck them with one twice as great, you said, ‘From where is this?’ Say, ‘It is from yourselves.'” [Aal-e-Imran: 165].
The defeat was caused by the actions of a group of companions who did not heed the Prophet’s instructions to hold a strategic position and avoid abandoning it under any circumstances, which led to the enemy’s flank attack.
The Friday Imam of Zahedan emphasized: All events occurring today across the globe are “results,” and the world must examine and analyze their “causes.”
All governments and organizations should review and analyze the root causes of their issues and failures.
🔹 The Country Faces an “Unprecedented and Severe Economic Crisis” that MUST be Analyzed
The internal issues of the country must also be analyzed. Currently, the economy is neglected, and the country is experiencing a severe economic crisis, which has spiraled out of control. This crisis is unprecedented in the country’s history and is imposing extreme pressures on the people.
He stressed: The economic problems and other challenges confronting the country and its people must be reviewed and analyzed to identify their root causes.
He added: Events in Syria and other regions should also be analyzed. Unless these issues are addressed impartially, we will face even more problems in the future.
🔹Man Achieves Perfection Through Elevated Human Qualities
Mawlana Abdol Hamid further stated: “Man attains perfection and humanity through human traits such as compassion, good character, respect, recognizing others’ rights, and honoring their dignity—not through lineage, birth certificates, or race. Even the offspring of a prophet is not considered ‘human’ without good morals. Allah Almighty mentions the son of Prophet Noah as an example in the Quran. When Noah pleaded, saying, ‘My Lord, my son is of my family, and Your promise is true that You will not destroy my family,’ Allah replied, ‘He is not of your family,’ and decreed his destruction in the flood."
Mawlana Abdol Hamid remarked: “Today, the actions, behaviors, and words of many people contradict humanity. As Allama Rumi says: ‘Those you see in opposition to Adam’s path / are not human; they are mere human shells.’ A person who denies God, disregards His clear commandments, and neglects moral principles, even if they outwardly resemble a human being, is not truly human. Such a person is the antithesis of humanity and God.”
He added: "Oppressors who shed the blood of others without hesitation, heedlessly kill, and ignore the cries and rights of their victims are not human beings. They are encased in the form and body of humans. As Mawlana Rumi eloquently states: ‘Humanity needs humanness; without it, the fragrant agarwood becomes mere firewood.’ A person derives value from their humanity, and without it, they are worthless—just as fragrant agarwood loses its worth without its scent.”

🔹 The martyrdom of an individual taken hostage for extortion was “deeply painful and shocking”
The Friday Prayer Leader of Zahedan referred to the martyrdom of a young man from Zahedan who had been taken hostage and said:
“Recently, an individual was abducted for the purpose of extortion and was tragically martyred. This incident was profoundly shocking and painful for us. Such events occurring in a city and province where Friday and daily prayers are offered, and gatherings honoring Quran memorization and graduates of religious and academic sciences are held, are truly heartbreaking.”
Mawlana Abdol Hamid described hostage-taking as “the height of immorality” and added:
“Even if hostage-taking is done for debt collection or loans, it remains the worst and most immoral act. There are alternative ways to recover a debt without abducting individuals. If a creditor faces an impasse and no other solution exists, they could take the debtor’s vehicle as collateral for repayment instead of abducting a person over financial issues.”
🔹Everyone must combat hostage-taking and other forms of insecurity
The Friday Prayer Leader emphasized:
“We must all work against hostage-taking and other manifestations of insecurity. Authorities, judicial, military, and law enforcement agencies, as well as the public, must fulfill their responsibilities in this regard. Scholars, elders, and regional tribes also bear a significant duty to ensure that their youth are not misled by economic hardships or other issues, leading them to commit injustices. Everyone must join hands to eliminate hostage-taking and insecurity.”
🔹Attacks on ambulances are “against customs and international laws” / People and officials should strive to maintain the province’s security
In the concluding section of his sermon, Mawlana Abdol Hamid strongly criticized the recent attack on an ambulance in one of the cities of Sistan and Baluchestan. He said:
“Recently, in one of the towns, an ambulance going to assist the injured came under gunfire. Attacking an ambulance that transports patients is contrary to customs and international laws. Both the nation and the government must observe international laws.”
He added:
“If ambulance drivers or traffic police officers, who oversee traffic laws and road accidents, fear being targeted en route, they will no longer dare to or be able to provide services to the public.”
The Friday Prayer Leader of Zahedan stressed:
“People and officials should work to ensure the province’s security. If anyone has issues or demands, they should express and pursue them verbally, not through violence or bullets. Maintaining the province’s security benefits everyone.”
🔹 “Neglecting the Hereafter” is a Great and Irrevocable Loss
Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid, in the first part of his sermon during the Friday prayers in Zahedan (December 20, 2024), described “neglecting the hereafter” as a major and irreparable loss. He emphasized adhering to Islamic injunctions, cultivating good morals, and embracing human qualities to attain paradise and divine pleasure.
According to the information portal of the Sunni Friday prayer leader’s office in Zahedan, after reciting verses 36 to 39 of Surah Ash-Shura, Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid stated: “Allah, the Exalted, sees the provisions and means of worldly life as insignificant and has warned against being deceived by the world. He cautions against becoming absorbed in and content with worldly life at the expense of neglecting the hereafter. Worldly blessings are transient and perish with death, but divine pleasure, as well as the blessings and honor of the hereafter, are everlasting. Thus, focusing solely on worldly life while forgetting the hereafter results in a great loss.”
🔹The Quran and Hadith Should Be Studied with the Intention to Implement Them
The director of Darul Uloom of Zahedan remarked in his speech at the Supreme Council meeting: “In today’s religious schools, students read the hadith of the Prophet (peace be upon him), but unfortunately, there is a great shortfall In practicing these teachings. In these schools, the verses of the Glorious Quran and the hadith of the Prophet should be studied with the intention of acting upon them.”
The Friday prayer leader concluded: “The Sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him) aligns perfectly with human nature. The weaknesses and challenges in society stem from the scholars’ actions. If scholars’ lives conform to the Prophet’s life and Sunnah, their influence will transform the people and bring about change in society.”

He advised patience to the Darul Uloom and Makki grand mosque of Zahedan community, saying: "Just as the esteemed instructors and students have been patient so far, they should continue to be patient. If the dear people become aware of these restrictions, they will share their 'oil' and 'flour' with Darul Uloom and provide for the institution's other needs and shortages."
