Читать полностью…There are not many good prayers for Baldr on the internet. Many assume he is a sun god, which is something I respectfully disagree with. If you wish to pray to the god of the bale fire on tonight's full moon, you can use some variant of this template prayer I have made.
PHOL! PHOL! PHOL!
Son of Odin,
Frigg’s proudest boast,
Wisest Oss, and most eloquent,
Who's fair white face is famed,
Hear now this prayer!
You, Oh bright one, who dwelt in Breiðablik,
Are pure in every way, unstained by shame,
None may question your judgement,
Though now you, brave prince, from the curved crest,
Of calves’ kin’s skull, sip the water of the victory women,
In the hall of the barrow’s warder.
Pyre god! Höðr’s unintended victim!
Slain by a slender dart, Baldr’s bane, a young sprout
Felled you, oh bleeding god,
And caused all the world to weep!
Your wyrd, Oh famous and fair Oss, thus fixed,
You shall be by your youngest brother avenged,
And Vali’s foe shall join you, in gloomy Hel’s hall,
Until, Odin’s brave son, the prophecy of the Volva is fulfilled,
then you and your blind brother, to Asgard shall return!
May you soon be borne from Hel, oh brightest prince,
As swiftly as the sun of houses, reaches up to the moon’s way!
Accept now, oh Shining god of the wind’s brother,
The windless wave of the bull’s spear,
And relieve us of our need,
….(state needs and ask for help before offering libations at the fire)
Phol and Wodan were riding to the grove, and the foot of Balder's foal was sprained.
So conjured Sinthgunt, Sunna her sister, So conjured Frija, Volla her sister, so Wodan conjured it, as well he could:
Like bone-sprain, so blood-sprain, so joint-sprain: Bone to bone, blood to blood, joints to joints, so may they be glued.

An artistic representation I put together of a Yamnaya chieftain inspired by the famous Kernosivsky Stelae. Weapons featured took reference from archeology and the stelae and the belt buckle is from the Catacomb culture. I gave him a pointed beard like the stelae and braids because of the hair rings found in archeology. The face is from my latest Yamnaya artistic reconstruction. I used photo bashing techniques and some other tools to merge together different images with some major photo editing (this took days to get right). I am quite please with how it turned out. I look forward to using it to bring other ancient cultures to life.

Masai are like the Proto-Indo-European steppe peoples in many ways:
-Pastoralists who measure wealth in cows (no cow= loser)
-Love milk and butter
-Drink mead in rituals
-Smear bodies with red ochre
-Hyper patriarchal -women own nothing
-Practice head binding/skull deformation
-Men over 30 marry and become core elders of tribe
-Young men are warriors who raid neighbouring tribes for cattle and expand tribal territory like IE koryos
-Warriors own all the young unmarried girls
-Women sing songs about the raiding parties, songs also ask the gods for fertility and abundance

In 1876, 2 years before her death, the Swedish textile artist Signe Sohlman designed a series of cloths and napkins called Drakmönstret / Drakduken which were inspired by ancient Viking age and Vendel era zoomorphic interlace.
I am very proud to have acquired one of these vintage table cloths for use as an altar cloth. It seems highly fitting.
Amleth, son of Horwendill, the hero of the movie The Northman by Robert Eggers, is recorded in the Den danske Rimkrønike (1495) as stating:
Thoor myn gudh oc otthen meth i hweryæ stund oc hweryæ stæth (…)
Thor is my god and with Odin in every hour and every stead (…)

Don't be a mug. Get yourself a very Indo-European cup from my e-store. This pic was sent by a satisfied customer who wrote:
"Here's the coffee mug I got for my old man for his birthday. My parents and I even watched the Yamnaya video to celebrate his birthday! Not pictured are the matching Very Indo-European t shirts I got for us for Christmas a few weeks prior."
I am wearing the Sigurd design from bracteate DR-BR55 on a Premium cotton shirt. The design is also available on lower quality "classic tee" as well as hoodies, stickers, and vests etc.

This Yamnaya themed design is available on shirts and jumpers in my new store. The striking artwork titled High Barrow by Ukrainian artist Valentin Kolontay depicts various attributes of the Yamnaya culture with the Kernosovskiy idol in the centre, standing above sacrificial oxen skulls and with a solar wagon being drawn across the sky behind. Very Indo-European indeed!

Best places to celebrate May day in England
Padstow, Cornwall.
Helston, Cornwall.
Hastings, Sussex.
Minehead, Devon.
Torrington, Devon (although their May fair is on the weekend following May day itself).
Oxford, Oxfordshire.
May day celebrations in Britain, particularly in the West Country, are notably pagan in their aesthetics. This documentary looks at one such celebration in Cornwall and one in Devon. Each very different but clearly both containing rites of pagan origin.

Today is the fifth full moon of the year, which I believe was the original date of the fire festival of the god known in England as Bældæġ "pyre day" and in Germany as Phol where the festival was called Pholtag "Phol day". In October 1944, 7 months before VE day he wrote: "These newspaper people never go near the fighting….they just sit at some rear HQ watch a map and put down what one of those human insects called staff officers tell them. I’m fed up with the politicians in England who pat themselves on the back and don’t even give us enough to eat and I include the PM.”

New alleged Anglo-Saxon find from Essex. A mount which resembles a mask comprised of two ravens back to back with beaks curled around the mask's eyes.
However, this particular style is not like any other artefact from the period I have seen. Could be a fake?
