Xbox Game Pass per Console sarà disponibile solo per nuovi abbonati.
Gli utenti attualmente su Xbox Game Pass per Console potranno mantenere il loro abbonamento, inclusi i giochi dayone.
I nuovi utenti di Xbox Game Pass saranno accolti da un nuovo Xbox Game Pass "Standard". Questo sarà più simile a EA Access, che non include i titoli dayone. Il costo sarà di $14,99 al mese e includerà anche Xbox Live Gold per il multiplayer (Game Pass Core). Non includerà il gaming su cloud di Xbox. Il lancio del Game Pass Standard è previsto per settembre.
Dal 12 settembre 2024, Microsoft consentirà agli utenti di cumulare Xbox Game Pass per Console solo fino a 13 mesi.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate non subirà modifiche, ma subirà un aumento di prezzo. Continuerà a includere PC Game Pass, giochi dayone e centinaia di titoli del catalogo precedente, oltre al gaming su cloud. Tuttavia, ci sarà un aumento di prezzo. Il nuovo prezzo sarà di $19,99 al mese.
Anche PC Game Pass subirà un aumento di prezzo, passando da $9,99 al mese a $11,99.
PC Game Pass continuerà a includere i giochi dayone.
Xbox Game Pass Core (multiplayer di Xbox Live Gold) avrà un aumento di prezzo annuale a $74,99 da $59,99, ma rimarrà a $9,99 al mese.
Gli aumenti di prezzo saranno globali.
Per gli utenti con fatturazione ricorrente, i nuovi prezzi entreranno in vigore il 12 settembre 2024.
