Swoop was primarily built as a tech demo & due to regulatory compliance no gov token could be launched by Harmony itself. We’re in discussion with some projects to fork it and launch their own gov token, but no definitive timeplans for that

We can’t go directly, but if we bounce BUSD through Binance, could we not move it from BSC to ETH temporarily, then bridge it across?

Would that burn the ETH BUSD, and mint native Harmony BUSD, or would that cause issues?

Yes, with the bridge you can convert BUSD (ethereum) to BUSD (harmony) and vice-versa, you will connect metamask(ethereum) and onewallet (harmony)
