20 000 home's were painted in 190 colors . . .
Las Palomitas used to be a typical hillside suburb in Mexico, with a high crime rate and where people didn’t feel safe after dark. Nobody paid much attention to this neighborhood until the year 2014, when the artists from Germen crew came up with an original idea to paint these 200 houses in the color of the rainbow and convert Palomitas into a better place.
It took them eleven months to realize this crazy plan but eventually, with the help of locals, they managed to paint 20 000 m2 in 190 colors. And the biggest mural of Mexico was born!
