يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مَن يَرْتَدَّ مِنكُمْ عَن دِينِهِۦ فَسَوْفَ يَأْتِى ٱللَّهُ بِقَوْمٍ يُحِبُّهُمْ وَيُحِبُّونَهُۥٓ أَذِلَّةٍ عَلَى ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَعِزَّةٍ عَلَى ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ يُجَٰهِدُونَ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَا يَخَافُونَ لَوْمَةَ لَآئِمٍۚ ذَٰلِكَ فَضْلُ ٱللَّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَن يَشَآءُۚ وَٱللَّهُ وَٰسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ
O you who believe! Whoever from among you turns back from his religion (Islam), Allah will bring a people whom He will love and they will love Him; humble towards the believers, stern towards the disbelievers, fighting in the Way of Allah, and never afraid of the blame of the blamers. That is the Grace of Allah which He bestows on whom He wills. And Allah is All-Sufficient for His creatures' needs, All-Knower.

وَاصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ فَإِنَّكَ بِأَعْيُنِنَا
So wait patiently for the decision of your Lord, for verily, you are under Our Eyes;
meaning, `𝐛𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐨 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐢𝐭, 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐄𝐲𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞,'
وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ حِينَ تَقُومُ
and glorify the praises of your Lord when you get up.
Ad-Dahhak said,
"Meaning 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐡 (𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐚𝐲):"𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞, 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐍𝐚𝐦𝐞, 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐦𝐚𝐣𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨 𝐆𝐨𝐝 (𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩) 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭 𝐘𝐨𝐮."
In his Sahih, Muslim recorded that Umar used to recite this supplication when he began Salah.
Ahmad and the Sunan compilers recorded this Hadith from Abu Sa`id and other Companions, who stated that the Prophet used to say that.
Abu Al-Jawza' commented on the Ayah;
وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ حِينَ تَقُومُ
(and glorify the praises of your Lord when you get up).
"𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐩, 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐝."
And this is the view chosen by Ibn Jarir.
Supporting this view is the Hadith that Imam Ahmad recorded that Ubadah bin As-Samit said that the Messenger of Allah said,
مَنْ تَعَارَّ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَقَالَ لَا إِلهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَالْحَمْدُ للهِ وَلَا إِلهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللهِ
ثُمَّ قَالَ رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي
أو قال ثُمَّ دَعَا اسْتُجِيبَ لَهُ فَإِنْ عَزَمَ فَتَوَضَّأَ ثُمَّ صَلَّى قُبِلَتْ صَلَتُه
𝙒𝙝𝙤𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙨 𝙪𝙥 𝙖𝙩 𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙖𝙮𝙨:`𝙇𝙖 𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙝𝙖 𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙝, 𝙃𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙊𝙣𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙨. 𝙁𝙤𝙧 𝙃𝙞𝙢 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙙𝙤𝙢 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙙𝙪𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙃𝙞𝙢. 𝙃𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨. 𝙂𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙗𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝘼𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙝, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙙𝙪𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝘼𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙝, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙇𝙖 𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙝𝙖 𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙝 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙝 𝙞𝙨 𝙂𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧. 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙚𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙢𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙣𝙤𝙧 𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧 𝙚𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙥𝙩 𝘼𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙝.'
And then says,
`𝙊 𝙇𝙤𝙧𝙙! 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙢𝙚.'
𝙊𝙧 𝙞𝙣𝙫𝙤𝙠𝙚𝙨 (𝘼𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙝), 𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙗𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙞𝙩, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙛 𝙝𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙨 𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙨, 𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙧 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙗𝙚 𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙙.
Al-Bukhari and the Sunan compilers also recorded this Hadith.
Ibn Abi Najih reported that Mujahid commented on the Ayah,
وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ حِينَ تَقُومُ
(and glorify the praises of your Lord when you get up), saying,
"𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐧."
Ath-Thawri said that Abu Ishaq narrated that Abu Al-Ahwas said that,
وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ حِينَ تَقُومُ
(and glorify the praises of your Lord when you get up),
"𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙖 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙖 𝙜𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙮𝙨:`𝙂𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙗𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙔𝙤𝙪, 𝙊 𝘼𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙝, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙚."'
Abu Hurayrah narrated that the Prophet said,
مَنْ جَلَسَ فِي مَجْلِسٍ فَكَثُرَ فِيهِ لَغَطُهُ فَقَالَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَقُومَ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ سُبْحَانَكَ اللْهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ إِلاَّ غَفَرَ اللهُ لَهُ مَا كَانَ فِي مَجْلِسِهِ ذلِك
𝙒𝙝𝙤𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙖 𝙜𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙝 𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙨 𝙞𝙙𝙡𝙚 𝙚𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙮, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙨𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙗𝙚𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙪𝙥 𝙩𝙤 𝙙𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙜𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜, `𝙂𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙗𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙊 𝘼𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙝, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙚, 𝙄 𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙤 𝙂𝙤𝙙 (𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙝𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥) 𝙚𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙥𝙩 𝙔𝙤𝙪, 𝙄 𝙨𝙚𝙚𝙠 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙄 𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙔𝙤𝙪.' 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙣, 𝘼𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙝 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙝𝙞𝙢 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙝𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙨𝙖𝙞𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙜𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜.
This was recorded by At-Tirmidhi, and this is his wording, and it was also recorded by An-Nasa'i in (`Amal) Al-Yawm wal-Laylah.
At-Tirmidhi said, "Hasan Sahih."
It was also recorded by Al-Hakim in his Mustadrak, and he said, "Its chain meets the criteria of Muslim."

[ثُمَّ لَآتِيَنَّهُم مِّن بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ –
Then I will come to them from before them and behind them];
Ibn Abbaas [radiyallaahu-anhumaa] said this means, ‘’I [Iblees] will bring doubts to them about the Hereafter.’
’[وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ –
and behind them];
Ibn Abbaas [radiyallaahu-anhumaa] said that this means, ‘’I [Iblees] will make them covetous for the worldly things.’’
[وَعَنْ أَيْمَانِهِمْ
– and from their right];
Ibn Abbaas [radiyallaahu-anhumaa] said this means, ‘’I [Iblees] will make their religion obscure [by making them hold onto doubtful matters which they would consider to be the truth].
[وَعَن شَمَائِلِهِمْ –
and from their left];
Al-Hasan [rahimahullaah] said this means, ‘’I [Iblees] will command them to commit evil deeds, urge them toward it and beautify it in their eyes [i.e. make it fair seeming to them]’’.
It has also been reported from Ibn Abbaas [radiyallaahu-anhumaa] who said that Iblees did not say ‘’And from above them’’ because he knows that Allaah is above them.
Qataadah [rahimahullaah] said, ‘’O son of Adam! Shaytaan comes to you from every direction but not from above because he is not able to come between you and the Mercy of Allaah.[Ref 1]

Allah’s Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) would often make duʿā (supplication) saying:
يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دِينِكَ
“O You who turns the hearts, establish my heart upon your religion.” Anas (Allah be pleased with him) said: “O Prophet of Allah! But we believe in you, and in that which you have brought to us, so do you fear for us?” He replied:
نَعَمْ إِنَّ الْقُلُوبَ بَيْنَ أُصْبُعَيْنِ مِنْ أَصَابِعِ اللَّهِ يُقَلِّبُهَا كَيْفَ يَشَاءُ
“Yes, for indeed the hearts are between two fingers from the fingers of Allah, and He turns them about as He wills.”
(Tirmidhi 2140, Ibn Mājah 3834, and graded saheeh by Shaikh Al-Albāni in Mishkāt al-Masābeeh, no. 102)

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ
O mankind!
Verily, the promise of Allah is true.
meaning the Resurrection will undoubtedly come to pass.
فَلَ تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا
So, let not this present life deceive you,
means, `this life is as nothing in compare to the great good that Allah has promised to His close friends and the followers of His Messengers, so do not let these transient attractions distract you from that which is lasting.'
وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُم بِاللَّهِ الْغَرُورُ
and let not the chief deceiver deceive you about Allah.
This refers to Shaytan, as stated by Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him.
Meaning, do not let the Shaytan tempt you and divert you away from following the Messengers of Allah and believing what they say, for he is the chief deceiver and arch-liar.
This Ayah is like the Ayah that appears at the end of Surah Luqman:
فَلَ تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ الْحَيَوةُ الدُّنْيَا وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُم بِاللَّهِ الْغَرُورُ
let not then this (worldly) present life deceive you, nor let the chief deceiver deceive you about Allah. (31:33)

Allah the Exalted said;
وَمِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْهُ
And in the nighttime also glorify His praises,
meaning 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡 𝐛𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐐𝐮𝐫'𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭.
Allah the Exalted said in another Ayah,
وَمِنَ الَّيْلِ فَتَهَجَّدْ بِهِ نَافِلَةً لَّكَ عَسَى أَن يَبْعَثَكَ رَبُّكَ مَقَاماً مَّحْمُودًا
𝘼𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩, 𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧 𝙏𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙟𝙟𝙪𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙞𝙩 𝙖𝙨 𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 (𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙧) 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙮𝙤𝙪. 𝙄𝙩 𝙢𝙖𝙮 𝙗𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙇𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙩𝙤 𝙈𝙖𝙦𝙖𝙢 𝙈𝙖𝙝𝙢𝙪𝙙. (17:79)
Allah said;
وَإِدْبَارَ النُّجُومِ
and at the setting of the stars.
𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐑𝐚𝐤`𝐚𝐡𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐰𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫, 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐇𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐈𝐛𝐧 𝐀𝐛𝐛𝐚𝐬. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐑𝐚𝐤`𝐚𝐡𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐡 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐭.
It is confirmed in the Two Sahihs from A'ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, who said,
"𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙝𝙚𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙜𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙧 𝙞𝙣 𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙫𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙬𝙤 (𝙎𝙪𝙣𝙣𝙖𝙝) 𝙍𝙖𝙠`𝙖𝙝𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙁𝙖𝙟𝙧 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙧."
In another narration collected by Muslim, the Prophet said,
رَكْعَتَا الْفَجْرِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا
𝐓𝐰𝐨 (𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐡) 𝐑𝐚𝐤`𝐚𝐡𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐅𝐚𝐣𝐫 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐢𝐭.

رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا
Our Lord! Let not our hearts deviate (from the truth) after You have guided us.
meaning, "Do not deviate our hearts from the guidance after You allowed them to acquire it. Do not make us like those who have wickedness in their hearts, those who follow the Mutashabih in the Qur'an. Rather, make us remain firmly on Your straight path and true religion."
وَهَبْ لَنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ
And grant us from Ladunka,
meaning, from You,
رَحْمَةً
Mercy,
with which You make our hearts firm, and increase in our Faith and certainty,
إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ
Truly, You are the Bestower.
Ibn Abi Hatim and Ibn Jarir recorded that Umm Salamah said that the Prophet ﷺ used to supplicate,
يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دِينِك
O You Who changes the hearts, make my heart firm on Your religion.
