They are quite heavily invested but you can pinch salt as much as you fancy. Personal preference. If this is a pump rather than sharing of information then 88 ought to ask for their money back methinks…?

Not entirely sure what you were reading, but here’s some helpful clarification first you from the Next Investors article…
“Over the next 6-12 months we have 4x potential major catalysts to look forward to from 88E’s - which don't require large cash expenditures:
1 Two contingent resources from 88E’s recent discoveries in Alaska, USA - expected before the end of this quarter. Resource newsflow is what re-rated Pantheon Resources by starting last year.
2 Potential commercialisation deals on 88E’s US assets - farm-out/JV deals on either its Phoenix/Leonis projects.
3 2D seismic results from 88E’s Namibian asset - which 88E has already paid for and will be completed in Q3-4 2024.
4 Recon Africa’s drill programs in Namibia - any success from these could increase the look through valuation of 88E’s assets.”
It's not the great report some investors will want to read. Next Investors HOPE to see a return on investment in the next 3+ years on the FREE shares they were given to write promo pieces.
They have admitted there are no near term catalysts to drive the share price higher.
Our Big Bet for 88E is as follows:
“88E re-rates to a $500M market cap after commercialising its Alaskan assets (through a takeover or farm-out deal) OR by making a discovery at its Namibian asset”
NOTE: our “Big Bet” is what we HOPE the ultimate success scenario looks like for this particular Investment over the long term (3+ years). There is a lot of work to be done, many risks involved - just some of which we list in our 88E Investment Memo. Success will require a significant amount of luck. There is no guarantee that our Big Bet will ever come true.
Now if 88 starts making serious money I could see a buy back or dividends being an option but unfortunately we don't know how or when they are going to fix it.

I think a lot of people are worried that 88 will do a RS since OS is so high.
Once 88 fixes the OS or give something to their investors we will see this thing go up.
I really wish I knew…. Anyone that says they know is full of it… all speculation at this point… even when we get good news the share price drops… the economy sucks and I feel that’s a big factor keeping the share price down…

I would like to suggest that if you’re invested here, that you do your own research and if you don’t think that there’s any chance of the BOD’s words coming to fruition then it may well be time to rethink your investment and focus your attention, and very precious time on another stock that you have more faith in. Just my humble opinion.
I’m not going to invest anymore of my precious time in this as I’m now retiring for night so I will bid you good evening.
They are certainly not conservative in their analysis. Their job is to pump the market on behalf of the companies they are given free shares in.
88e always state they are having JV/buyout discussions, nothing new there. They have also stated that need a farm-out before any future development. I've most certainly not read anywhere they have promised a farm-out in H2 2024, if you can post this I'd be most appreciative.
Despite listing the 4 bullet points, Next Investors still think it's 3+ year investment. Which should leave readers a little circumspect about the "potential".
Thanks! If you read their reports on any of the stocks they invest in they always say ‘hope’ to see. It’s standard terminology. They are very conservative and careful not to influence investors decisions. A good role model in that regard!
Re: the near term catalyst, the company have made it crystal clear that they are having talks on a JV/buyout in and if this happens in H2 2024 as they have promised, it won’t really matter what anyone thinks…
