Just think of it like this: If you borrow USDC you have to pay back USDC. If you borrow SOL you have to pay back SOL. Well, if SOL goes down in price you can buy it for less and payback your loan with less USD cost. In other words, you benefit if SOL goes down in price (like taking a short position)

Guys in the UIG we're looking at something new on Solana called Defituna.com. It's sort of like Revert. You can leverage up your LP position. I supplied almost my whole bag of SOL on Kamino and borrowed 24k USDC against it (about 40% LTV calculated when SOL price is pretty low). I then used the 24k USDC and 10 SOL to create this new SOL/USDC position on Defituna, borrowing 100% USDC to leverage by 2x.
