When you look at many other devs, they had new projects a couple times a year, completely independent of each other and although it allows each one to be more successful I didn't like that idea, which is why I tried my hardest to build new things that could be integrated into old projects but you have to remember I started building in 2021 when you really couldn't do much but create cool tokenomics that are not very sustainable so every time I built a new project that was in some way tied into a purely tokenomics based project from 2021, we inevitably carried over that same lack of sustainability. Don't forget, if you have loose AFD in your wallet don't sell it because you'll get hit by the 90% tax. You have to stake AFD in Dog Pound for like 74 days to get the tax down to 6%.

Part of the reason I took a step back is because instead of building new projects, I was building patches and continuations of previous work. I needed to take time to step back. Really reset and think about what Defi needed and then build something completely new from the ground up
Lef who is my dev partner and Black Pluto who has been holding down comms for me have been with me working every day for the past year on something very special.
I will not be talking about it much until I share the live beta link but what I can say is it's a defi trading platform that allows traders to build derivative strategies for the purpose of managing risk and earning income. We put a heavy focus on making it user friendly. Because it's a derivative market, it offers a strong value proposition and opportunities in all market conditions. It's what Defi needs right now to take us to the next level.
I want to set expectations now. This is going to be a completely independent project and it will be my sole focus moving forward.
We will eventually have a token but the goal is to launch the platform and allow people to use it and see the value, no need to buy a token. Then eventually we will issue a token that will both be a mechanism to rebate fees and allow users to benefit from profits earned by the platform via token price appreciation.
Rather than doing the typical thing of launching the token to fund the development and then have investors hope one day the token finds value, we are doing the opposite. I bootstrapped the whole thing myself along with a small team and by the time a token is issued the value proposition will be clear.

I'm still going to try, without being overly obnoxious, to convince him in the DAO to let us change old tokens for new tokens. There wouldn't be any "lack of sustainability" that would be carried over. The tokenomics of AFD and AFP were fine, it was the revenue model that wasn't good, and the fact that the v2 yield farm model became obsolete.

Yeah looks like a complete seperation he was in Stunnas group and looks like nothing from AF token wise will carry over, probably wants to put AF and DRIP behind him at this point. I get the disapointment of course people have.

And, even in our despair, we stick up for him against all his haters. They don't know him. They don't know he's deep down a good guy, just misunderstood. Then he gets out and screws some other bitch.
Well, I was a fool. I believed he had ethics. Complete betrayal of the few loyalists that remain... the diamond hands he was supposed to remember
New project, even last year there was almost no value to migrate. We can't print value out of no where and there will not by any inflation of our token to pay yield or anything like that.
Anyway if you don't want to invest in this project you don't have to. Try the platform out and see if you find value, by trying it out you will get some exposure to the token, due to a portion of fees paid on trading being rebated to you in the form of the token, with the remainder being used to appreciate the tokens price.
This project cannot be a continuation of earlier work because it has a massive degrading effect every time, We need to launch this with wings not a lead weight,
