👆 Right here, and the post just below it is where I told everybody that I was going to try to work with Forex and convince him to figure out a way to accrue value to the holders of AF tokens. That was almost 3 weeks ago and I was successful with that endeavor. It may be harsh to say this, but if you sold your tokens between then and now, that's completely on you.

Be happy that AFD holders will get value! It wasn't going to happen. I chatted with Forex and told him about the $1M liquidity still in AFD. I asked him if there was some way to give some value to the loyal holders of AFD and he figured out a way to do that where it couldn't be gamed by bots and people who would like to hurt the new project.

We got input from Defi_Guide and Rick and Stonecutter, Sascha as well as sent people into the community to figure out the best way to give Animal Farm investors an objective benefit in the new project. We determined that the best way to do it was to treat AFD holder as seed investors. However that was only possible if we paused all movement of the AFD token and secured the liquidity. Otherwise we risk the AFD token having a meme coin style pump and dump when it's announced as well as insiders or bots buying it all up in which case they would be the ones who benefit rather than the actual AFD holders who have been in the token for months.

Next week I plan on doing a public spaces to everyone but I will have a private one in here for us first where I can answer questions.

Over the past weeks, I’ve been speaking with members of our community regarding the best outcome for Animal Farm investors. The clear consensus is that there are a significant amount of AFD holders who have held their positions with the hope that we will somehow utilize the remaining capital in a way that rewards their long-term support of the platform.

When I first got into DeFi investing, I saw a pattern of developers jumping from one project to another, in an attempt to ride a hype wave and extract as much capital as possible from investors. Although I had fun trading these projects as a savvy investor, I knew that the average trader got left holding the bag, and if I was going to develop, I wanted to do things differently.

This is why we previously limited ourselves to only developing supportive products for our existing ecosystem. An ecosystem that eventually had an outdated tokenomics-based model. This relegated us to developing products that, by default, baked the burden of inflation into everything we did, including Animal Farm; otherwise, it would have been incompatible and unable to integrate with our existing system. At some point, these migrations, limitations, and burdens are not worthwhile and, in fact, have a negative impact on the existing investors we intend to support. We are ending this pattern now.

With AFD, we still have significant capital in the system and have identified a way to reward holders, without a migration or integration that will burden our new platform. Due to AFD still having BNB and BUSD in the liquidity pool, we have decided to treat the AFD and its LP tokens in circulation as a seed investment in our new platform, which will benefit AFD holders as seed investors. This will equate to a direct exchange with our new governance token, including a bonus that aligns with standard seed raises.

However, we had to be very careful about how we did this to avoid insider buying of the AFD token. The last thing we want is for the wrong people to get rewarded due to a sniper or insider buying up a ton of cheap AFD tokens due to a leak or botting of the announcement. We've taken action to secure the liquidity and blacklist trading to ensure this is impossible. This way, the people who have been holding AFD are the people who will be rewarded.

After much discussion, we have decided this is the best way to go. We must act now to avoid leaks and insider nonsense that other projects deal with. This is a model where all AFD holders are included by default, ensuring no one who should be rewarded misses the opportunity. Every token issued when the new project goes live is directly correlated with a BUSD/BNB value totally unburdened by the mechanics of an old system. This will be the first time in years where we get a chance to show what we can build from a clean foundation, and it's extremely exciting. We are about to change the world of trading forever!

Everyone will be credited automatically; no action is necessary. AFD in NFTs and other contracts will be credited. BNB that was earned in the linear pool can still be claimed from the linear Dogpound pool. Depositing/Withdrawing from the Dogpound had been paused for security reasons.

Correct. AFP has absolutely tanked since Forex came back on the scene and there aren't many holders left. Because of the tax model and people not really understanding how to sell their AFD, that token did not tank. We don't want to burden the new token once it is live, so yes, the liquidity from AFD will be migrated to the starting liquidity of the new token. Forex didn't want to attempt to create value out of thin air, as well. It makes more sense to just move the value from AFD to the new token.

I suspect this can be used to help the new project in someway and isnt a negative on the new project.
30k is still a solid amout of money but it would probably be giving afp holders pennies.
Might aswell sell them or keep them in the pen until all the busd vault has been emptied.

Well he always said we would get seats and cubes for our AFP and AFD. But now I‘m getting fuc* all for them which is being scammed. Forex is and never was a man of his word. I decided to trade all my AFD to AFP as they were like 3:1 in price ratio. If you remember the old days - that‘s an insane ratio. And most of the time he said Pigs are the token to hold as you were getting governance in his project. AFP was his favorite child, not AFD. But on top of it he said they are BOTH worthless the other day. I thought that maybe if he changes his mind he will do so for both token and as I just said: the deal for AFP was like 300x better than back in the day.

I‘m very thankful to you for sticking up for the community Brandon! 🙌🏻 But no I‘m not happy and now I feel even worse than before…
Why was there no way to reward AFP holders? They are the ultimate believers if the hold from $300 to $0.30. 1AFP is still 1AFP and by the time of the screenshot there weren‘t many holders which means that there was nearly no impact on the new token if he treated AFP as some kind of a presale token. I was one of Forex‘s most loyal supporters on YouTube (I‘m Sole-Salbe95 if you remember the old days 😉) and thaught for Forex against every hater and now he spit me in the face with this approach. The cherry on top of a 2 year long suffering. I really just swapped hundreds of AFD the other day so that‘s why I‘m maybe a bit emotional. But apart from feeling emotional about the whole AF topic I also feel like Forex could have handled the whole situation a million times better than he did. And if someone could have handled a situation a million times better I assume he also had some malicious intent in his acting. At least it‘s fair to say he gives zero fuc*s about his investors - just like a scammer would do.

But again Brandon - thank you for all you do and did for this community! I was a big fan of yours back in early 2022 and I‘m still a big fan of yours today. Are you still into vertical farming btw? :)

Yeah couldn't believe it. I was doing a Spritz transfer and bitching to my self about the fees and thought I'd check to see if BUS had changed. A window popped up specifically for my state so it might not be every state yet.
