Apple trying to advertise iPhone by saying that it's compatible with many WiFi and Bluetooth devices. All through these is no "incompati ility" in this communication methods. If a device have WiFi and Bluetooth - it can connect with any WiFi network or Bluetooth device. Another "revolution"!

"I have a combo soldering station that has a hot air iron and a normal iron. My hot air iron's heating coil blew up a few days ago and is apparently shorting to the grounded barrel which is causing a loop and making the scr for the normal iron to get stuck on when the unit is turned off.
Was grabbing something from my workshop tonight and smelled something weird. Found the soldering iron glowing red hot. About 600 degrees F (315°C)"

not a meme but if you have a Nintendo 3DS and you haven't hax'd it, do not install the latest firmware. despite the console being out of production for multiple years, the eshop being closed and (afaik) no new games being officially published for it, nintendo has pushed out an update that patches most known vulnerabilities that can be exploited in order to hack the 3DS. the new update does nothing other than making it harder to hack.

Bought new cheap SSD to add to my desktop, which only had a 1 TB HDD until now
I go and try to mount it inside the case, but, while I had no issue in connecting the data cable, after connecting the power one i had to move the SSD to fit it inside the bay... Well, the connector fucking snapped
Pins got bent, but I managed to put all of them back into shape, none fell off. Unfortunately, the plastic piece just below the pins snapped, meaning that a stable connection with just a cable (maybe it would work fine in like an USB enclosure) is now impossibile.
However, by keeping the cable pressed on the connector, I noticed that when booting the PC, the BIOS sees the disk, so it still works fine.
And here is how I "fixed" the disk.
