Ephesians 1:21 NIV “Far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
“No, Darlyn, don’t go into that house! I heard that a witch lives there,” Carol warned her sister. “That shouldn’t stop us from leading her to Christ!” Darlyn retorted. “I thought you knew to whom we were connected—Jesus is Lord everywhere! He’s the Head of all principality, and we’re seated together with Him at the right hand of God. If she’s in there, she ought to be scared of us.”
When God raised the Lord Jesus from the dead, He set Him at His own right hand “far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come” (Ephesians 1:21).
“Right hand” in Scripture means the place or seat of power. It’s like saying “Jim is my right-hand man”; it means Jim represents and speaks for you; you’ve given him your authority. Jesus being seated at God’s right hand means He’s seated in the seat of power; God operates through Him. That’s amazing! But then we observe something remarkable about the infinite expanse of Jesus’ dominion: it surpasses all levels and hierarchies of power.
The Lord Jesus reigns supreme in this world as it is now and also in the ages to come. He holds unmatched authority over all things, and His Name stands above every title. The Amplified Translation renders our theme scripture beautifully; it says Jesus is “Far above … every title that can be conferred], not only in this age and in this world, but also in the age and the world which are to come.” Glory be to God!
In other words, call them whatever you want; the superiority of the Lord Jesus is undeniable, and it transcends all persons, limits and boundaries. That’s the Lord Jesus Christ in whom you believe and whose birth is celebrated at this time all around the world. His authority knows no bounds and has no equal. His power extends throughout eternity, Hallelujah!

WALK IN WISDOM AND RIGHTEOUSNESS (No Chance Occurrences In Your Life)

Psalm 23:1-3 ESV “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
Do you know wisdom and righteousness are intertwined? The wisdom I’m talking about here is practical wisdom (Greek: “phronesis”). It’s the outworking of the righteousness of God in your life. When we talk about the righteousness of God, it refers to practical wisdom at work, the expression of “phronesis.”
You’re a child of righteousness, and you can’t walk in righteousness and fail in wisdom (“phronesis”). The underlined portion of our opening verse in the New King James Version says “…He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake….” Walking in the paths of righteousness is “phronesis.” It means you don’t go anywhere by chance. You don’t meet anybody by chance; in your path, there’re no accidents. Everything is prearranged by God.
Wisdom says, “I, wisdom, dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge and discretion. The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; pride and arrogance and the evil way and the perverse mouth I hate. Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom; I am understanding, I have strength. By me kings reign, and rulers decree justice. By me princes rule, and nobles, All the judges of the earth. I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently will find me. Riches and honor are with me, enduring riches and righteousness” (Proverbs 8:12-18).
With wisdom leading you in the paths of righteousness, you could never be poor. So, every day, declare, “Wisdom is at work in me today! No chance occurrences in my life. Predestination is at work in me.” Your life was planned by God to be in the paths of wisdom and righteousness. Praise God!

“I realised it was God’s desire for me to not only be healed but also to be in perfect health, so I wrote down scriptures about health, meditated on them, and confessed them boldly and consistently. Soon enough, I saw changes. I kept at it, and a few days later, the growth had completely disappeared,” Ashley testified during her TeeVo Club meeting.
The Word of God is meant to be put to work; we’re doers of the Word, not just hearers. As long as the Word stays in the pages of your Bible, it won’t do anything for you. But when you meditate on the Word and speak it out in faith, it becomes living and powerful.
Think about this: A lady who was diagnosed with breast cancer asked that I pray for her. But I told her she could put the Word to work and use her own mouth to cut out the cancerous growth. I explained to her that the Greek word for mouth is ”stoma” and it refers to the front or edge of a weapon. She was excited and immediately got to work. She spoke consistently in faith and called the growth dead. When I saw her a few months later, she was completely healed; the cancer was gone. She had put the Word to work, Hallelujah!
If you’re sick or dealing with any issue in your body, put your faith to work. Use the Word. All of God’s blessings are already given to you in Christ, for “...all things are yours” (1 Corinthians 3:21). He’s “...given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness...” (2 Peter 1:3) and blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3).
God has already done everything for you to have an amazing life. But it’s your job to put the Word to work in your life. You need to make sure all the wonderful blessings of God show up in your life. Speak the Word for your healing, success, victory, promotion, and more.

HE’S NOT A FRIEND! (Satan Is An Adversary, But You’ve Got Absolute Dominion Over Him)

▶️ LET’S TALK
Genesis 3 tells us that the serpent tricked Eve. The Bible describes him as “the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world” (Revelation 12:9). In Revelation 12:10, he’s called “…the accuser of our brethren….” Peter, in 1 Peter 5:8, calls him your adversary: “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” An adversary is an enemy an opponent.
Satan’s followers try to make him look good with songs, movies, cartoons, etc., that make him seem like a friend. Don’t be fooled; Satan is not and will never be your friend! He’s your enemy, but a defeated one. The Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 refers to Satan as the god of this world. But thanks be unto God, you’re not of this world! You don’t belong under Satan’s control; he’s not a factor in your life because you’re superior to him. So don’t give him any place or chance in your life.
You have power over Satan and the forces of darkness to keep them defeated and under your feet. Jesus said in Luke 10:19, “Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you” (ESV). Your dominion and authority over the enemy and life’s challenges are supreme and unbeatable. Recognise this and use it always.

BE AS LOVING AS JESUS (Love The Way The Master Does)

1 John 2:5-6 “But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
“I wish I could be like Him,” Jesse sighed.
“Like who?” Abel quizzed as they made their way to football practice.
“Like Jesus. He’s so bold and kind. He loves everyone, even the guy who never seemed to listen to Him!”
“You can though,” Abel replied, “If you declare the Lordship of Jesus, you’ll love others like He does.”
How true this is! Being born again means God’s love is already in us. His love fills our hearts through the Holy Spirit who lives in us (Romans 5:5). So if you’re born again, there’s no need to pray, “Oh Lord, put more of your love in my heart!” You already have the fullness of God’s love in your heart. You can love just like He does. That’s why the Bible tells us to “walk even as He walked” (1 John 2:6).
If you say you’re with Christ, you should live like He did and follow His example. He was the definition of love. Ephesians 5:1-2 tells us to imitate Him in our love: “Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.”
We can live, act, and think like Him because we share His life. 1 Corinthians 2:16 says, “...But we have the mind of Christ.” So, like Jesus, never be scared or intimidated by tough situations. In every challenge, show the glory and power of God. Nothing could stop Jesus. He had total control over everything.
Don’t be intimidated by the challenges you face, no matter how hard they seem; walk as Jesus walked! Today, you’re His representation; you’re His expression. This is what true Christianity is—living the Christ-life, showing and working out Christ in and through you. Hallelujah!

HE SEES EVERY HEART (God Sees What Others Don’t See)

Luke 16:15 TPT “...You always want to look spiritual in the eyes of others, but you have forgotten the eyes of God, which see what is inside you. The very things that you approve of and applaud are the things God despises.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
Sometimes, certain people get promoted, honored, and respected by others. But while people might praise and elevate them on the outside, it’s God who truly knows what’s in their heart. Luke 16:15 says that what is highly valued by people can be detestable in God’s eyes.
Take the story of Haman, for example. He was a special adviser to King Ahasuerus in the Persian Empire and was greatly respected because he occupied a top position in the government. But his heart was full of hatred and evil intentions.
Haman’s wickedness showed in his intense hatred for Mordecai, a Jewish man who refused to bow down to him. He even plotted to kill not only Mordecai but all the Jews in the entire realm, and he convinced the king to make a decree to annihilate them. But through the prayers of the Jews, God stopped his evil plans, and in the end, Haman faced the consequences of his wickedness.
Jeremiah 17:10 reminds us that God searches the heart and examines the mind. He sees people as they truly are, not as they pretend to be. Similarly, 1 Samuel 16:7 tells us that God looks beyond outward appearances and sees the heart.
So, as you go through life, be mindful of your heart and intentions. Don’t fool yourself into thinking you can deceive God because the Bible says He cannot be mocked. Let your heart be filled with His righteousness, love, and compassion because that’s what matters most to God.

KINGING THROUGH THE KING (We’re Called To Reign In Life Through Jesus Christ)

Romans 5:17 AMPC “For if because of one man’s trespass (lapse, offense) death reigned through that one, much more surely will those who receive [God’s] overflowing grace (unmerited favor) and the free gift of righteousness [putting them into right standing with Himself] reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).”
▶️ LET’S TALK
Many people think the verse above is talking about us reigning with Jesus Christ in the distant future. But no! It’s actually talking about us reigning— “kinging”—on earth NOW by Jesus Christ. At the millennial reign, we will reign with Him, but today, we reign by Him or through Him. There’s a big difference between the two.
What Paul tells us in Romans 5:17 is different from Revelation 20:6, which says, “...They shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.” Notice it says “and shall reign with Him....” The word “with” is translated from the Greek word “meta,” meaning to do something together with another or alongside. That’s the reign that’s coming in the future. So, right now, we’re not reigning with Christ.
In Romans 5:17, the Greek word “dia” is used, which means “by” or “through.” So, we’re reigning by or through Jesus NOW; we’re reigning in His Name. Hallelujah! We’re called to exercise dominion and to live as masters and victors in life through Jesus Christ. We reign over Satan, darkness, the world, and all creation.
The Greek rendering of the word “reign” is “basileuo,” and it means “to king.” You’re supposed to be “kinging” in life. The Amplified Classic translation says we “...reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One)” (Romans 5:17 AMPC).
As we take up the responsibility of prayer, using the Name of Jesus, and operating in His stead, we enforce the Father’s will on earth and establish His righteousness in the world!

BRING IN THE PEACE (Peace—The Work Of Righteousness)

Luke 10:5-6 TPT “Once you enter a house, speak to the people there and say, ‘God’s blessing of peace be upon this house!’ If a lover of peace resides there, your peace will rest upon that household....”
▶️ LET’S TALK
Tommy’s high school had become notorious for delinquency and student violence. When he transferred there the previous term, he planned to lay low until graduation. That was until he learned from reading the Word that it was his responsibility to enforce peace in his school and that he could do so through his proclamations of peace. And as he spoke this way consistently, peace and righteousness prevailed in his school.
Isaiah 32:17 says, “The work of righteousness will be peace, and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever.” We’re the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:21). So, when the Bible talks about the work of righteousness being peace, it’s telling you what you must produce as a result of your nature: your work is to establish peace.
The word “peace” is from the Hebrew “shalom,” and it refers to the totality of human welfare—health, prosperity, and more. So, your work is to produce health, prosperity, and peace. Remember what Jesus said in John 9:5 NASB: “While I am in the world, I am the Light of the world.” He said this so we would know to speak and act accordingly. You’re the bearer of His peace to places where there has been conflict, violence, and destruction.
Our God is the God of peace. Therefore, peace in the world is His will. Jesus said in John 14:27, “Peace is what I leave with you; it is my own peace that I give you. I do not give it as the world does. Do not be worried and upset; do not be afraid” (GNB). The world really needs this today—the peace that only Jesus gives. It’s up to us to help others and nations experience this amazing peace through prayer, sharing the Gospel, and doing good.
1 Timothy 2:1-2 says, “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.” That’s it! Peace, with extraordinary grace for prosperity, excellence, preservation, and rest will cover the nations and people’s hearts as we pray for everyone and do good. So, no matter the chaos and problems in today’s world, declare peace, health, and prosperity for your city and nation.

PROCLAIM HIS VICARIOUS DEATH (That’s What You Do When You Take The Holy Communion!)

The synoptic Gospels—Matthew 26:26-28, Mark 14:22-24, and Luke 22:19-20—record the words of the Master on the night He was betrayed. Luke 22:19- 20 says, ‘And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.”’
The Apostle Paul also emphasised this in 1 Corinthians 11:23-26: “For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, ‘Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.’ In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.’ For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes.” “Proclaim” here is from the Greek word “kataggello,” which means to announce, declare, and make known. Every time you take Communion, you announce, proclaim, and declare the Lord’s death. But what does this mean for us?
First, it’s important to understand the significance of His blood, which we will always remember. His blood, shed for us, purifies, cleanses, and speaks for us, and that shed blood actually refers to His death. 1 John 2:2 says, “And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.” The Lord Jesus ushered in and established a new covenant—the New Testament—in His blood.
A will only takes effect when the testator dies, so Jesus’ death on the Cross validated His will. And that’s why we boldly proclaim His death today. We know He died so that we might live, and God raised Him from the dead for our justification. Glory, Hallelujah!

GOD’S LOVINGKINDNESS (In Us, Grace, Truth, Righteousness, And Peace Have All Embraced)

Psalm 85:9-10 “Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him, that glory may dwell in our land. Mercy and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
In the tenth verse of Psalm 85, the Psalmist prophetically paints a beautiful picture: “Mercy and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed.” The Hebrew word translated “mercy” is ‘chesed,’ which is often translated as “lovingkindness.” What we have as lovingkindness in the Old Testament is the equivalent of grace in the New Testament.
It represents God’s unmerited favour, and this lovingkindness was often expressed through covenants. The New Living Translation calls it “unfailing love” because it was based on the unbroken covenant God had with His people, making it reliable and trustworthy: “Unfailing love and truth have met together. Righteousness and peace have kissed” (Psalm 85:10 NLT).
The Apostle Paul, in Romans 5, speaks of this when he says, “Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:1). Thus, the psalmist’s prophetic words are fulfilled in us today, the new creation in Christ. In us, grace and truth have come together, and righteousness and peace have embraced. Praise God!
Why is this so important? In those times, people were mostly farmers, and their prosperity often depended on the land. The Bible says, “Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven. Yes, the LORD shall give what is good; and our land shall yield its increase” (Psalm 85:11-12). This was how the psalmist could relate to it, and it was still prophetic in his time.
This shows the relationship between God’s blessings, salvation, and righteousness with the land, meaning your nation or country. They are key to what happens on earth. In other words, because of grace and truth, righteousness and peace, there will be prosperity, wholeness, and wellness on earth. Hallelujah!

THE DEATH-FREE PATHWAY (In Your Path, There’s Only Life)

▶️ LET’S TALK
The righteousness of Jesus Christ gave us eternal life. We weren’t able to please God by ourselves, but Jesus did so on our behalf. Adam, the first man, disobeyed God and committed high treason against Him. But Jesus Christ, the second and last Adam, fulfilled God’s will and on account of His obedience, we’ve been made righteous: “Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous” (Romans 5:18-19).
Consider again the construction in our opening verse: “In the way of righteousness is life, and in its pathway there is no death.” In the path of righteousness, death has no place; it’s a “death-free pathway.” The Bible says in Romans 8:2, “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.” The Greek construction here isn’t referring to being delivered from sin as if you were trapped in it, or being rescued or delivered from death as if you were in its clutches. Rather, it’s saying that in Christ Jesus, you’re death-free; there’s no death in you.
The human body is referred to as the “body of death” (that is, a “death-doomed body”) in Romans 7:24. From the moment a person is born, he carries death within him. This is because the natural man inherited the curse of death. So, Apostle Paul says, “Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?” (Romans 7:24 RSV). The very next verse says, “Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord...” (Romans 7:25 RSV). Jesus provided the solution; the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made us death-free. Praise God!

ETERNAL LIFE REVEALED (Jesus Christ—The True God And Eternal Life)

▶️ LET’S TALK
On this beautiful Christmas day, as we celebrate and commemorate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, it’s crucial that we understand the significance of the eternal life that He brought to us. What is eternal life? To understand what it is, you’d have to first understand what the scriptures says about God, about the divinity of Jesus Christ, and life itself.
Many have only known eternal life to be the life and nature of God. But I’ll give you another definition that clarifies this. Eternal life is the organic and existential attributes of deity. In those few words, you have the distinguishing factors—everything that separates our God from all others that may be called gods. These attributes must be organic and existential. And you can only find that in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, as expressed in Jesus Christ.
That is what makes it beautiful. We don’t see Him, yet we can call Him God. There are those who don’t know Him, so they represent Him with whatever they think He is—stone, wood, earth, wind, water, etc.—but our God is real and true.
Some people may argue that He doesn’t exist, but He came to us in Jesus Christ. The Bible says, ‘’...the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth” (John 1:14).
Jesus is Himself God, and He is eternal life: “And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life” (1 John 5:20). Hallelujah!

GOODWILL TO ALL MEN (Jesus Christ, The Expression Of God’s Good Will)

▶️ LET’S TALK
In Luke 2:8–14, we are presented with a remarkable account of the angelic announcement to a group of shepherds near Bethlehem. As they watched over their flock by night, an angel suddenly appeared before them, and the glory of the Lord surrounded them, filling them with awe and reverence. The angel reassured the shepherds, urging them not to fear, and then delivered the good news of great joy for all people—the birth of the Saviour, who is Christ the Lord, in the city of David.
Furthermore, the angel provided a sign to identify the newborn Saviour: they would find the baby boy wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger. Suddenly, the heavens were filled with a multitude of angels praising God and declaring, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men” (Luke 2:14). What a momentous announcement! His goodwill toward all men hasn’t stopped ever since.
This is our Gospel! This is what Christmas is about! The Bible says, “...God was in Christ, offering peace and forgiveness to the people of this world. And he has given us the work of sharing his message about peace” (2 Corinthians 5:19 CEV). Today, God is looking at all mankind with peace and goodwill. Jesus Christ was God’s love message, His love letter to the world. When He came, He was the expression of the Father’s will and His nature of righteousness! He was the manifestation of God’s love. Now, the most sublime of it all is that He has made us the expression of the Father’s will and nature.
2 Corinthians 5:21 declares, “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” In Christ, we’ve been made the righteousness of God. This means that you are today the unveiling of the Father’s heart, the revelation of His will and nature, glory, Hallelujah!

AS HE IS! (We’re Exactly Like The Lord Jesus Today)

1 John 4:17 “Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
When you received Christ into your life, you didn’t just receive forgiveness of sins; you received His life and nature, becoming like Him. 1 John 3:1 beautifully illustrates this truth: “See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him” (ESV).
We’re His offspring, born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God (John 1:12-13). Think about it: if you’re born of God, what does that make you? Divine! No wonder He said through the psalmist, ‘I said, “You are gods, and all of you are children of the Most High”’ (Psalm 82:6).
The Lord Jesus reiterated this truth when He said, “… Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, “You are gods”’?” (John 10:34). The people of the world may not recognise us just as they didn’t recognise Jesus when He came. But today, through divine revelation, our eyes have been opened to this truth to walk accordingly.
The Bible says, “Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is” (1 John 3:2). This means our physical bodies will be transformed into glorified bodies at the Master’s return. But right now, we have His life and nature—as He is, so are we in this world.
Remember that after His resurrection, His disciples were gathered in a room with the doors and windows shut. But the Lord Jesus came into their midst through a wall. They initially thought He was a ghost, but He invited them to touch Him, emphasising that He had flesh and bones, unlike a ghost.
On the outside, our divine nature, personality and identity may not be readily obvious to the world, but it makes no difference. We’re who God says we are—sons of God—not only for the future but right NOW!

BE HEALTHY ALWAYS (It’s The Lord’s Desire For You To Be In Health)

Acts 10:38 NIV “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
God never wants anyone to be sick or in pain. He wants everyone to be healthy and well. In the Bible, the people Jesus healed were oppressed by the devil. The devil made them sick, but God wanted them well, so God sent Jesus to heal them. Remember the man from Gadara who was possessed by a legion of demons. The demons made him wild and violent and caused him to live among tombs. But Jesus cast the demons out, and the man was instantly restored to his right mind (Mark 5:1-20, Luke 8:26-39).
Another example is the Syrophoenician woman in Mark 7:24-30 and Matthew 15:21-28. She asked Jesus to help her daughter, who was demon-possessed. Jesus commended her faith and healed her daughter. In Mark 9:14-29, a father brought his son to Jesus, explaining that the boy had seizures because of a demon. Jesus rebuked the demon and healed the boy. These stories show that God wants people to be healthy, strong, and free.
In 3 John 2, God clearly states His desire for us: “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth” (KJV). This means God wants you to be successful and healthy—both physically and financially. But spiritual prosperity is the most important, and it comes from the Word of God.
Stay in God’s Word; meditate on it, and you’ll always be healthy. God’s Word is like medicine for your body: “My son, pay attention to what I say; listen closely to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to a man’s whole body” (Proverbs 4:20-22 NIV).

Our opening verse says “...They have overcome (conquered) him by means of the blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony....” Learn to testify always! Let your environment feel the impact of your testimonies.
Firstly, testify the Word. Declare the Word as it concerns you. Secondly, testify of His works of grace and love. Now, apart from your testimonies glorifying God and inspiring faith in others, they also cause Satan and his demons to take notice of you and flee from you.
So, make it a habit to always testify of the power of God, the integrity of His Word, and the power of the Spirit in your life. Not only will it cause you to experience more blessings, it’ll cause consternation in hell. Never consider anything the Lord does for you or through you to be too small to talk about. There’s power in your testimony to completely neutralise the adversary and cause him to back off.
It makes no difference what daunting challenges the enemy throws at you; testify that the greater One lives in you. Therefore, you’re marvellously helped of the Lord and have overcome the adversary and all adversity. As you do, the Lord’s power and glory will be manifested in your situation, Hallelujah!

“Doug, I need to tell you something amazing that happened today,” Barbara said excitedly, as she breezed into her brother’s room. “Can’t wait to hear it,” Douglas replied. “You remember Jeffrey, the new exchange student? He had a seizure during the school play rehearsals today. As he fell to the floor, foaming at the mouth, I calmly walked over to him as others panicked and said....” “And said what?” Doug interjected.
“I said, ‘You evil spirit causing this, come out of him now in Jesus’ Name!’ And the convulsions stopped immediately!”
“Wow, that’s really amazing! Praise God!”
The Church of Jesus Christ—which you are a part of—is a mighty, indomitable force. No institution, power, government or entity can stand against you. This is because the dominion and rulership of Jesus over principalities and powers, over every ruler, authority, government, and realm of power in existence is for the benefit of the Church and, as a Christian, you’ve got all of His authority and power! You’ve been enthroned with the Lord Jesus, and you should be fully aware of your authority in Him.
The Bible says that the Lord Jesus is “far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come” (Ephesians 1:21 NIV). The twenty-second verse is what we read in our opening verse. It says, “…God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church” (Ephesians 1:22 NIV). God gave Christ this authority for the benefit of the Church. He’s already done it! All the title and power given to Jesus will be of no use if we (the Church) don’t use it. It’s ours to use.
He gave us His Name so that we could use it to keep Satan in check and prevail over circumstances. He has put us in charge of this world to tame it and overwhelm it with His righteousness, glory and grace. This is why you should affirm every day, “I reign and rule over Satan and the elements of this world!” Hallelujah! Refuse to be overwhelmed by anything in life; use the authority of Jesus. Use His Name. All authority is vested in His Name; use it every day.

YOU’VE ALREADY WON! (You’re More Than A Conqueror Through Christ Jesus)

Romans 8:35-37 ESV ‘Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written, “For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
▶️ LET’S TALK
It doesn’t matter the trials and challenges you’re dealing with today, the good news is that you are more than a conqueror through Christ. This should give you comfort, peace, and joy. Knowing we would encounter challenges, Jesus assured us of victory when He said in John 16:33 (RSV), “...In the world you have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
Distressing situations abound in all human societies because of man’s fall and failure, but the Word declares ‘..In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us” (Romans 8:37 ESV). You’ve been lifted over and above the depravities and corrupting influences of this world. Check out the opening verse again; it states clearly that neither tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril, nor sword can separate us from the love of God because, in spite of them all, we are more than conquerors.
Now, if this meant that you’d conquer no matter what you face in this world, that would have been wonderful. But it means much more than that. It means you’ve gone past conquering because you conquered in Christ! You’re now living in the victory of Christ! That means there’s nothing to struggle with or try to overcome anymore because you’ve already won.
Don’t allow the circumstances of life or the economic situation in your country make you a victim. You were born into the victorious life when you were born again. Now you can understand why Apostle Paul dismissed the great persecutions and adversities he faced as light affliction: “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory” (2 Corinthians 4:17). Then in Acts 20:24, he said, “...None of these things move me....” Glory to God!

📖 TO THE BIBLE
Acts 3:16 AMPC “And His name, through and by faith in His name, has made this man whom you see and recognize well and strong. [Yes] the faith which is through and by Him [Jesus] has given the man this perfect soundness [of body] before all of you.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
Throughout the gospels, you find various instances where people touched the hem of Jesus’ clothes and received instant healing. An example is the woman with the issue of blood in Luke 8. The Bible says she came from behind Jesus “…and touched the border of His garment. And immediately her flow of blood stopped” (Luke 8:44).
The word “border” in this verse is “kraspedon” in Greek, and it means “fringes” or “tassels.” Also, in Matthew 14, when Jesus came to Gennesaret, the people of that region rushed to Him for healing, and the Bible says they “...begged Him that they might only touch the hem of His garment. And as many as touched it were made perfectly well” (Matthew 14:36).
The Master didn’t have to do anything; all they needed was to touch the fringes of His garment, and they were healed. But it’s even more glorious today! You don’t have to touch His garment; at the mention of His Name, every sickness bows. Cancers dematerialise, and maimed or paralysed limbs are made whole. His Name is the answer today!
In Mark 6:56 (TLB), the Bible says about Jesus: “Wherever he went—in villages and cities, and out on the farms—they laid the sick in the market plazas and streets, and begged him to let them at least touch the fringes of his clothes; and as many as touched him were healed.” That same power is still available today in His Name. It’s amazing what we can do and have—the blessings and glory we can experience—when we use the Name of Jesus.
Think about what we just read in our opening verse. The Name of Jesus brings healing and health to you; it brings perfect soundness to your body. No wonder He charged us to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, and raise the dead (Matthew 10:8). He said in Mark 16:17-18, “And these signs will follow those who believe… they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Glory to God!

Father, I pray for your children who may be sick in their bodies, that they rise from the bed of infirmity and bondage today and be healed in Jesus’ Name. Your life in them makes them whole; Christ in them brings them perfect soundness of mind and body. Hallelujah!
