I'm now using the official Telegram library and I have no download limits, so it's a Telethon thing with the 5mb/s limit.
This should be customizable by the user in Telethon, instead of adding a sleep as you do, that the user chooses how to limit their speed, obviously Telegram when it sees that the download speed is too high cancels the download, but this can be limited by the user to avoid that Telegram cancels the download, I for example have limited the download and upload to about 20-25mb/s, it is a decent speed and that Telegram allows. 👍🏼

You can get it, but I'm not sure whether it was GetBroadcastStatsRequest or GetMessagesStatsRequest, it's in one of them and it shows the last 4 posts forwards.

Or you can print the entities of any message you want, there's also an attribute for forwards (members can see it too) but admins can see it in more details.

(you can't see who forwarded them, and if they forward it in a private chat you can't see where they have forwarded it unless the chat is public)
