TON Blockchain has been experiencing disruptions in block production for several hours due to the unusually high load caused by the recent airdrop of the DOGS memecoin.

Several validators were unable to clean the database of old transactions, which has led to losing the consensus. TON Core has issued a call to validators to restart.

The team has reassured that transactions will be made and no cryptocurrency assets will be lost due to the issue.

UPDATE: TON is now back online.
