Fed officials, led by Jerome Powell, emphasized the importance of further discussion and data analysis before considering interest rate cuts. According to the officials:
⚫️It may be appropriate to lower the interest rate this year
⚫️Don't expect rate cuts until there's more confidence that inflation is consistently moving towards 2%
⚫️More macroeconomic data is needed
⚫️It's too early to talk about easing monetary policy
Meanwhile, Bostic from the Fed predicts just one rate cut this year, likely in the fourth quarter.

Custodia Bank lost the lawsuit challenging the Fed's rejection of its master account application.
Custodia sued the Fed in June 2022, arguing that the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City had been taking too long to make a decision on its application for a master account. Master accounts allow banks and depository institutions to directly access the Federal Reserve, rather than require them to go through intermediary banks.

SBF was found guilty on seven charges of wire fraud and conspiracy in November 2023.
Just before announcing SBF's 25-year sentence, Judge Kaplan said there was a risk "that this man will be in a position to do something very bad in the future, and it's not a trivial risk."
In addition to the prison sentence, Kaplan also ordered a forfeiture of $11.2bn. However, he said there would be no restitution because it would "impractical" in this case with so many victims.

Judge Lewis Kaplan stated that SBF’s claim that FTX’s customers will get their money back "is misleading, it is logically flawed, it is speculative."
SBF's lawyers have said that the exchange has the assets to make its customers whole, while SBF has claimed:
"The harm to customers, lenders, and investors is zero".
After SBF's lawyer spoke, SBF addressed the court directly, saying:
"A lot of people feel really let down, and they were very let down, and I am sorry about that. I am sorry about what happened at every stage. And there are things I should've done and things I shouldn't have."

Telegram recently rolled out a new revenue-sharing model, offering channel owners 50% of ad revenue from their channels. Channel owners with public channels having at least 1,000 subscribers are eligible for this program, allowing them to earn from the over 1tr monthly channel views on Telegram.
Following Telegram CEO Pavel Durov's announcement of exclsuively using the TON blockchain for the Telegram Ad Platform, the value of Toncoin saw a 150% rise in the month.
As well, a record-breaking 156k TON wallets were activated on March 31, more than doubling the network's previous record for new activations in a single day. The Total Value Locked (TVL) on the TON blockchain also reached new highs.
A CoinDesk analysis of Telegram's TON-based advertising platform shows it to be more accessible and cost-effective than previous marketing efforts on Telegram. Advertisers can now initiate campaigns on Telegram's crypto platform, Fragment, with just 20 TON (approximately $105), a significant reduction from the former minimum of €2m required for official Telegram campaigns.
