If it's super hot then it ISNT throtting, would be the problem Throttling occurs when CPU gets too hot and it slows itself down to lower temp.

t-engine is a thermal profile config, nothing more. The only way you could damage it is by fucking with voltages which t-engine doesnt do

With or without t-engine?

If it's super hot then thermal probably isn't active or you're heating it up faster than it can cool down.

Make sure you don't have any modules that might affect thermal and only use t-engine combined with nfs and no other "optimizers" as t-engine is only certified compatible with nfs
