Yeah, I didn't noticed this with other apps before, but you're right.
Shouldn't apps be able to detect when time is manually set?
Specially when the automatic time zone is disabled, it seems wrong for the app to still consider the time zone!

No, some groups prohibit chat in the public section after becoming a topic and no messages can be sent.

I'd say not that important, but hugely breaks experience for any topic chat, where you just can't navigate and talk easily, you need to watch threads by yourself and properly reply to correct message. But you can't start a discussion without replying to somebody.
