You can only remove sender's name and caption text, NOT really editing.

And Telegram forwarding is not reposting, it don't cost you Internet for forwarding any existing content.

Image editing is limited to crop paint, and tune, but adding more would not make it as good as any Photo Editor. I don't think it would be improved first in TGX.

Long press the send button when forwarding.

You can't edit forwarded message in any official Telegram client.

You can crop, paint or tune the photos before send. Just tap and open the photo you would like to edit instead of just select it. I have absolutely no idea how you can ignore these feature.
