One of the few towers on the wall that remained operational during the Gazan uprising.

In 2021, the 65 km wall between Gaza and Israel was completely renovated at a cost of hundreds of millions. It was nicknamed ‘The Iron Wall.’
Construction of this new barrier began in 2017 and lasted more than three years, at an approximate cost of 3.5 billion shekels (around 1.1 billion dollars).
The entire automated defence system was defeated by Chinese drones that launched charges at the remotely controlled towers with the protections retracted and at the communication systems.
While it is true that Israel allowed the attack as a false flag operation, it is quite funny that those who renovated the wall did not think of putting ‘cope cages’ on the towers or implementing minimal anti-UAV and electronic warfare systems.
The IDF, like most NATO armies, ignored advances in modern warfare, remaining stuck in 1990 and only now beginning to react (far behind Russia and China).
In the case of Israel, it is criminal incompetence, considering that by 7 October 2023, the war in Ukraine had been going on for a year and the use of UAV launches was recognised by all.

China has held the world’s first robot boxing tournament.
Previously, we had only seen this in the movie Real Steel, but now, human-controlled machines have faced off in real-life bouts.
There was no real surprise: the winner was a robot from Unitree, the very company that organized the tournament.
At least some things still reflect human nature.

The U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) notes in its report “Global Threat Assessment for 2025” that Russia is expanding its nuclear forces by adding new capabilities, including nuclear air-to-air missiles and other new nuclear systems.
The specific type of nuclear missile designed for targeting aerial threats was not disclosed by the Pentagon, but The War Zone suggests it may be a modified version of the long-range R-37M air-to-air missile.
This assumption is logical, as the R-37M's predecessor, the R-33, was also capable of being equipped with a nuclear warhead.
If R-37M and R-33S are indeed still capable of carrying nuclear warheads, they would be the only nuclear-armed air-to-air missiles currently in service anywhere in the world.
During the Cold War, the U.S. Air Force also had a nuclear air-to-air missile, the GAR-11, later renamed the AIM-26A. Like its Soviet counterpart, it was originally designed for destroying bomber formations and had area-effect capabilities.
Today, dense bomber formations are no longer a significant threat. However, modern potential targets for nuclear-armed air-to-air missiles could include stealth aircraft that are difficult to detect and hit directly, as well as drone swarms or salvos of dozens of cruise missiles such as the AGM-158B JASSM-ER, RGM-109E Block Va, and AGM-86B.
After a long absence, the R-33S missile was seen again mounted on MiG-31BM long-range interceptors during Russian non-strategic nuclear force exercises in August 2024. The effective range of these missiles when launched from an altitude of 15,500 meters can reach 180–200 kilometers.
In addition to the explosion in the area, the nuclear effect would affect communications, guidance systems and the functioning of electronic components in systems even if they are not in the immediate vicinity of the explosion.

Russian artillerymen published some pics on the 240mm rocket-assisted mortar shell 3F2 “Gagara” (3Ф2 "Гагара") for the M-240/2S4 “Tyulpan” mortars.
Such munitions were also used by Ukrainian defense forces with the M-240 mortar in really small quantities before depletion of the stockpile:
- Photo 2 dates from 2023
- Photos 3–4 from 2024.
Notable specifications:
• The weight of the shell alone (without charge) is about 230 kg, of which 46.5 kg is high-explosive ТГАФ-5М.
• The maximum firing range is 19.5 km, which is twice the range of the standard shell.
• It leaves a distinctive accelerator trail, which can expose the firing position, see Photo 5.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have, for the first time, released objective footage confirming the combat use of the 100 kW "Magen Or" laser system during the recent conflict in Lebanon.
The system was employed to intercept Hezbollah drones and demonstrated high effectiveness in its role.
Meanwhile, mobile air defense units of the Russian Armed Forces, particularly the "Nomads" detachments, are also reported to use mobile laser beam systems with power ranging from 20 to 35 kW.
However, these Russian systems are said to be based exclusively on Chinese components. This raises the question: what happened to Russia's domestic laser project "Peresvet" ("Пересвет")?
Given the increasing use of kamikaze drones, especially the new FP-1 UAVs suspected in the attack on the Kronshtadt defense plant in Dubna, turret-mounted laser modules of this type should be widely deployed across Russia’s military-industrial facilities for protection.

Tiberius Aerospace, an American defense firm, has presented the concept for its new extended-range, precision-guided artillery shell, the TRBM 155HG SCEPTRE.
This guided rocket-assisted projectile with a ramjet engine can reportedly reach ranges of up to 160 km when fired from NATO-standard 155mm artillery systems with 52-caliber barrels.
Key Technical Specifications of the TRBM 155HG SCEPTRE:
• Range:
140–150 km from 39–45 caliber guns
Up to 160 km from 52 caliber guns
• Accuracy:
Circular error probable (CEP) of 3–5 meters in low-jamming environments
Up to 7+ meters in high-jamming conditions
• Warhead:
Due to internal space used by the ramjet system (65–75%), the warhead weighs only 5.2 kg. The minimized CEP is meant to compensate for the smaller explosive load.
• Propulsion:
A combined solid-boost and liquid-fuel ramjet system using diesel or JP-4/8 jet fuel
Initial acceleration in barrel: Mach 2–2.5
Boost phase (solid propellant): Mach 3.3–3.7, altitude up to 20 km
Cruise speed: Mach 3.5–3.7 at 20–27 km
Terminal speed: Mach 2.5–2.7 (~1700–2100 km/h)
• Radar Signature:
Radar cross-section (RCS): 0.015–0.007 m²
Detection range for Buk-M3 (9S36M) radar: 17–20 km
• Thermal Signature:
The active ramjet makes the projectile visible to modern IR sensors like the OLS-35 system on Su-35S fighters.
• Price:
Despite advanced tech, the unit cost is only $52,000.
(Or so they say at the moment... )
Drawbacks:
• The projectile must be pressure-fueled at a special station just prior to deployment, limiting logistics flexibility.
• However, its range enables deployment well outside known counter-battery or missile threats.
The TRBM 155HG SCEPTRE announcement came just days before the Future Artillery 2025 conference in London. Tiberius Aerospace joins Nammo, the Norwegian-Finnish firm, which previously showcased a similar 130 km ramjet-powered shell. Russia's Tula KBP has also explored similar concepts for 152mm and 203mm guns.
This development signals a serious escalation in the competition for ultra-long-range, precision artillery capabilities—blurring the line between rocket artillery and tactical missile systems.
In my opinion, it's an absurd system when you can use a missile with the same range, same accuracy, more explosive power (5kg is basically nothing, the usual 155mm shells have 5x times more) and at a lower cost.
