FTX Hrímfaxi (Frost mane) will be cold-weather camping utilizing lodge tents equipped with heater stoves. This is a serious winter outing, and proper preparation is mandatory.
Essential Gear:
COT REQUIRED – Sleeping on the ground is not an option. Failure to bring a cot is a direct path to misery—or worse.
Cold-weather sleeping bag.
Layered, sub-zero appropriate clothing for extended exposure to the elements.
Wandervogel FTX events are built around teamwork and communal experience—this means no personal tents. Everyone will camp together in lodge tents, as intended.
All attendees should bring food to contribute to a potluck meal. A gas-fired field range will be available, along with campfires for warmth and camaraderie.

Prepare accordingly, embrace the challenge, and step into the cold. Invite only, you need to be vouched for.

I've been working on a couple of highschool level homeschool education resource projects since July 2024. A glaringly obvious niche that needs filled and it was calling my name. Seems to be a pattern 🤔 ☺️
Having a blast working on two unit studies that I plan to make available soon.
Marcus Aurelius 'Meditations' /Stoicism unit study (currently in rough draft stage) should be ready by August 2025.
The other project will be released through other avenues/channels. It's a history 👏unit study, not likely to be ready till August of 2026.
