Danielsan, only transcendentalists live in poverty, get stepped on and abused and say that this world doesn’t matter. That their reward is in the afterlife and isn’t tied to earthly victories.
Let’s put “winning” aside for a moment and define what “losing” is. Because there is no neutral state and there aren’t isolated vacuums of residence.
We all exist in one physical world and compete for finite resources and even more scarce access to levers of power.
Losing is our folk not having temples to worship at. Losing is having to hide who we are. Losing is being persecuted by our own governments just for practicing our native faith. Losing is being at the mercy of walha power and looked at as fringe pariahs in our own lands.
Losing is having our legally established 501c3 religious organizations put on hate watch lists, debanked, harassed by the FBI and smeared by the media with absolutely zero ability for recourse or retaliation.
We face open religious discrimination that no other group would tolerate even a fraction of.
Silly retards whose “religions” are effectively new age UFO cults like Mormons and Scientologists build magnificent temples and send teams of lawyers to legally ruin anyone who even messes with them a little bit.
Poverty, disempowerment, displacement and disunity are, by most standards, the opposite of winning. Or, at least, the opposite of a good circumstances.
You mentioned which paganism. And while I am a strong proponent of regional identity, these ancient cultures like Mercians, Lombards, Visigoths, and Saxons are all long dead. We are here now revitalizing our traditions using almost the same texts and sources.
Our ancestors were buried in ships with swords and spears. Our holy symbols are the hammer and the chariot wheel. These were the cutting edge technology of their time which allowed them to conquer the known world through trade and warfare.
It’s the equivalent of getting buried in an Escalade with an AR-15 and wearing an iPhone necklace.
They were technophiles who understood material wealth and power as divine favor.
I agree that hypermodernity is going to cook up manmade horrors beyond our comprehension. But, you can’t run from it and refuse to participate.
We have two options. Clutch pearls until the Mechanurge eventually consumes your grandchildren and we ultimately die.
Or, take this opportunity to build our own fork in the road and have the power and resources to avoid the coming techno-horrors.
Folk Futurism is the only way.
You can argue that our ancestors wouldn’t like technology of today, maybe they wouldn’t, but that’s purely speculation. Evidence of their relationship with technology supports my argument.
(Nobody construe this as a beef between Dan and I. His visceral instincts on this topic come from a good place. I just disagree with him.)

There’s better ways to show you love her and are proud she’s your old lady without sounding like that typical overweight, inept husband with the hot wife from a TV sitcom.
It isn’t lost on hoops enjoyers that it’s WBS in the NBA. Not only is the best player in the world a Serbian (Jokic) but it seems every team has a European or white American star.
Nikola Jokic, Luka, Austin Reaves, Bogdan, Josh Giddey, Chet Holmgren, Tyler Herro, Vucevic, Sabonis, Pritchard etc.
As the game has evolved and become more advanced, we’re starting to see the potency of the European style of play as boomer hero ball becomes obsolete.
European approach to basketball is more strategic and relies on skill, ball movement and deception. So, especially Eastern Europeans are now shining in the new era. Not only are they big and strong but they come to the NBA with a lifetime of focus on discipline.
White Americans, I believe, are beginning to appear more because of displacement from academic pursuits. For most white men, sports are seen as a way to pay for their future careers. But now that they’ve been disadvantaged by DEI policies, they’re starting to see sports as a potential career itself.
The current projected #1 Draft pick is Cooper Flag, a high flying wing from Maine. And 3 of the top 10 projected picks are white dudes.
An interesting phenomenon with a predictable reaction from much of the media.
What is even more interesting is that most of the fanbase seems to enjoy the novelty of it.
They’re arguing on Twitter.

Btw Obi Wan was the real villain of Star Wars.
He was salty because he lived in the shadow of Qui-Gon Jinn and was quickly surpassed by his student Anakin.
To get back at Anakin he stifled his training and turned him sour. Either out of malice or incompetence allowed him to be swayed by Palpatine.
Then after going into hiding on Tatooine he turned Anakin’s son against him.
The result of Obi-Wan’s meddling resulted in the destruction of entire planets and undoing the peace and economic stability brought by the Empire.

Our boys the Snowtime Lakers got schlonged by the Orlando Magic tonight. Kaiser Franz Wagner put up 32 points on geriatric LeBron and Prince Luka during his blitzkrieg.
His brother Dünkenmeister Moritz Wagner (IR ACL) cheered their total basketball victory from the bench, reminding the demoralized Prince Luka of the demise of old Yugoslavia and occupation of Slovene lands.
Luka’s matched 32 points wasn’t enough to save them from their third consecutive defeat. Next they face one of the classic WBS hoopers, wholesome Pittsburgh native TJ McConnell in Indiana.

Remember in episode 1 when Watto says “Galactic credits are no good here. Need something substantial. Gold peggats”?
That’s because the gay galactic republic hideously mismanaged the economy and their fiat currency of galactic credits were garbage.
The Republic was a lousy system that created galactic scale depression and unfettered alien immigration.
Crime, corruption and poverty were at all time highs under the Jedi council. This left the outer worlds to be taken over by the Hutts’ mafia.
While it wasn’t ideal, the Hutts were better than the Republic, which is why the populations of Huttspace were cool with them.
I’m gonna push back on this a little bit because it has become a common take around here. And, it’s no surprise that it has.
Midwit libtoad writers have made it a point to turn every story into this nihilistic Reddit crap.
But, it’s important that art doesn’t get pasteurized by reactionary political priors.
I’m sure all of you would be like “Yeah, except for X characters. They’re cool.”
40k, for example, is loaded with moral greyness. In fact, the entire setting calls morality into question.
Falling Down, Escape from NY, Judge Dredd and even the Odyssey are all based on an “anti-hero” premise.
And we all love them.
My point is that all framings of character conflict are viable tools for storytelling.
The framing isn’t the problem. It’s that Reddit libtoad midwits write cringe.
If your story is good and the characters are cool, it doesn’t matter if it’s moral duality or more grey.
Rule of cool reigns supreme.

For months, we’ve been fighting to get my wife approved for a very expensive treatment. It was a long shot and we were pretty certain that it was a lost cause because the insurance company kept stalling and jerking us around.
But she was approved last week and this morning she left for her first appointment. These treatments are every day and hours long. An absolute slog for the next couple months.
This isn’t the end. The doctors still have no diagnosis and they’re kinda praying this works. But if it does, she’ll be able to get the surgery we’ve been waiting years for.
It’s a bleak situation and beyond stressful. But, when it counts, we keep getting blessed with these unlikely victories.
A bunch of small Ws eventually add up to a big one.
And I know it’s because all of you have been praying for us. There’s no way the Gods don’t hear it.

So I watched the entire interview. Most of the interview was cordial and according to plan. They were agreeing to a deal to end the war.
Then at the end he started acting strange and erratic. Getting disagreeable. So Trump and Vance flipped out.

Sylvester Stallone's Rocky is absolutely iconic, his character now stands for the underdog, and has spawned a whole genre of heroic sports films. The KDADS take you through this massive phenomenon, give personal anecdotes, and bring their patented ancestral analysis to bear on it.
I has hoped to premier Once Upon a Time in Minnesota around this time, late Febuary/early March, but unfortunately that will not be the case. The best laid plans of mice and men, ect ect. It's the most challenging film I've made, and everything has taken far longer than I thought it would. I've put around 300 hours of work into this production over the past few years already, with still quite a bit to go on post production. Hopefully it will be ready to premier it by early May.
