⭕️ A report submitted to the Israeli government on Wednesday revealed that 2,900 buildings in the north were damaged since October 2023, with 19 percent of the destruction caused by the Israeli army itself.
The estimated financial losses amount to 9 billion shekels ($2.5 billion).
According to Israeli Army Radio, the report, presented by Ze’ev Elkin, the minister overseeing reconstruction in the north, also noted that 67,500 residents were evacuated at the start of the war, with only 19,000 returning to their homes near the Lebanese border so far.
❗️New Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir:
○ “On 7 October, the Israeli army failed, and our borders were breached."
○ “The mission is not over yet because Hamas has suffered significant blows but has not yet been subdued."
○ “This is an existential war that will continue until our captives are returned and until we achieve decisive victory."
○ “We are surrounded by bloodthirsty enemies and killers, and we must be prepared for all scenarios, both internally and externally."
⭕️ Israel criticized the Arab-led Gaza reconstruction plan, adopted at Tuesday’s summit in Cairo, saying it ignored Hamas’ 7 October attack and failed to denounce the group. The Israeli Foreign Ministry also criticized the plan’s reliance on the Palestinian Authority and UNRWA, claiming the UN agency is corrupt and supports terrorism.
Israel reaffirmed its support for US President Donald Trump’s proposal, which suggests relocating Palestinians to Jordan and Egypt, accusing Arab states of rejecting it without discussion.
Meanwhile, Hamas welcomed the reconstruction plan, calling it a sign of Arab and Islamic support for the Palestinian cause. The group urged Arab leaders to push Israel to honor the ceasefire agreement, allow aid into Gaza, and move forward with prisoner exchange negotiations. The Arab statement condemned Israel’s aid blockade, called for an end to violence in the West Bank, and defended UNRWA’s role in supporting Palestinians.

In a press statement, Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated, "Today, the State Department is fulfilling one of President Trump’s key commitments made at the start of his administration. I am pleased to announce the designation of Ansarallah, often referred to as the Houthis, as a Foreign Terrorist Organization."
He further emphasized, "As outlined in Executive Order 14175, the Houthis’ actions pose a significant threat to the safety of American citizens and personnel in the Middle East, jeopardize the security of our regional allies, and undermine the stability of global maritime trade."
❗️Part of outgoing Israeli army Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Herzi Halevi's speech:
"The war is not over. Victory is essential, but it cannot be achieved through words alone.
We have taken the right actions—damaging and fragmenting the Iranian axis while significantly weakening its security. It has felt our strength. We have inflicted severe damage on Hezbollah, and Nasrallah’s absence has been a notable improvement for the region. We have carried out significant strikes in Iran, demonstrating our capabilities, with more to come. In Syria, we have created a substantial buffer zone and diminished most of its strategic capabilities. Meanwhile, we continue to wage an extensive and thorough campaign against terrorism in Judea and Samaria.
Hamas is a severely weakened terrorist organization, but we must not stop. It must not govern, nor should it be allowed to rebuild its strength.
Together, these achievements provide an opportunity to reshape the region. However, if we fail to translate them into a new reality, they will erode. I am certain that a better future lies ahead."

"The commander of the naval forces was killed by the Radwan force.
Earlier today, an Air Force aircraft attacked, under the direction of the Northern Command and the Intelligence Branch, in the Qana area and killed the terrorist Khodr Hashem, who served as the commander of the naval forces in the Radwan force of the Hezbollah terrorist organization and engaged in terrorist activity against the State of Israel and its citizens.
Hashem joined the terrorist organization Hezbollah about two decades ago and has since held a number of positions in the organization. As part of his role as commander of the naval force, he took an extensive part in transferring weapons to Hezbollah via maritime routes, and in planning Hezbollah's terrorist operations in the maritime space against the State of Israel and its citizens, even during the ceasefire."
Hashem's activities constituted a threat to the State of Israel and its citizens, and blatantly violated the understandings between Israel and Lebanon."
