⭕️ A new Gallup poll reveals that US support for Israel has dropped to a record low, with only 46% of Americans expressing support for Israelis. This marks a decline from last year's 51%, which was previously the lowest recorded level, matching a similar drop in 2001.
Meanwhile, sympathy for Palestinians has reached a record high of 33%, rising six points from the previous year. As a result, the gap between support for Israelis and Palestinians has narrowed to just 13 points—the smallest margin since 2001. That year, 51% of Americans sympathized more with Israelis, while 16% backed Palestinians.
In 2022, the divide was significantly wider than today at 55% in favor of Israelis versus 26% for Palestinians.
